    Chef's Room at Nakanobo Zuien - Excellent

    As expected from a long-established Ryokan in Arima, the staff's hospitality and the Facility were all excellent. Additionally, the dinner was a teppan kaiseki in the chef's room, and everything was delicious and sophisticated. I have tasted delicious food in gourmet regions around the world in the past, but the content here was even better, and I was impressed. It has become one of the places I want to find an opportunity to visit every year from now on.

    I woke up.

    Stayed for the first time in two years. In terms of service, facilities, and cuisine, it is one of the best Stays in Arima. Recently, due to the high popularity of Arima, I have been staying at other Stays, but staying at Nakanobo after a long time reminded me of its excellence. It's a place I'd like to visit every week.

    The staff is good!

    I stayed at 瑞苑 (Zui En) for the first time and am grateful for the staff's attentive service, which made my trip enjoyable. The massage chair in the room is a delightful facility for tired legs and back. They also responded politely to my surprise celebration request and provided suggestions and reservations for nearby sightseeing and transportation, making my first trip to Kobe more fulfilling. The staff might be the most memorable part of the trip. I would like to use 瑞苑 (Zui En) again for my next trip to Kansai.

    Arima Onsen

    Onsen water quality: After the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, Zui-en has largely recovered, but I hope it improves a bit more. As we age, the quality of the water becomes something we seek.

    A property you'll want to repeat.

    It was my first stay at Arima Onsen. From the reception upon arrival, the interior of the property, the room's water facilities, amenities, bath specifications, and meals, each was of a very high level, providing satisfaction for a getaway from daily life. Above all, the staff's courteous and friendly service was excellent, and I understood why some guests were making their next reservation at checkout.

    Rest for the mind and body

    The scent of sandalwood gently permeates the property, with beautifully maintained gardens and elegantly arranged guest rooms. It was truly a quiet and comfortable stay, perfect for refreshing both body and mind. The large public bath, private family bath, and private open-air bath were all clean and spacious enough to enjoy at leisure, and I was amazed by the skin-smoothing effects of the golden hot spring. This time, I stayed for only one night and chose a plan that included dinner at the on-site restaurant, which was very satisfying. Next time, I would like to try a different dining plan. The staff's hospitality was pleasant, and I thought it was a property I would like to visit once a year.

    Onsen is the best

    Plan with breakfast only. During dinner service hours, the bath is empty and can be reserved. All drinks in the refrigerator are complimentary. The lounge is also free. The Arima bus terminal is nearby, and you can take a casual walk. Above all, you can be driven to Arima Grand Hotel, so you can experience the open-air bath with a view. Children below elementary school age are not allowed in the Facility, ensuring a quiet and elegant atmosphere. It seems likely to become a favorite for repeat visitors.

    A word of excellence

    The food was very delicious and very good. However, what impressed me the most was the wonderful thoughtfulness for the celebration. I learned a lot from the calm, considerate, and kind response of the staff, and I hope they continue this way forever. I definitely want to visit again, so I look forward to your hospitality at that time.

    We used the property...

    We used the property to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The anniversary service was warm and made for a great memory. The food and facilities were excellent, and it was a property I would like to visit again. Thank you to all the staff.

    I was able to refresh myself.

    It was a good Stays, but compared to others, I didn't feel it was cost-effective. I was able to refresh at the Onsen.

    Everything else is perfect, yet.

    The food is disappointing. The number of dishes, quantity, and effort put into them are unusually lacking for a Ryokan of this level. Breakfast was good, though.

    The staff's service was courteous and truly wonderful. It became a very memorable anniversary. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious. I would definitely like to stay again. If possible, I would be happy if the number of hairdryers in the large public bath could be increased, as there was a waiting time.

    It was indeed a very comfortable stay. Certainly, it is expensive, but compared to my younger days when I rushed through sightseeing with a day-trip onsen, I deeply realized that even in the same Arima, spending money allows for such a relaxing, delicious, and enjoyable experience. In addition to the excellent location, the attentive service that meets every need is likely the result of sincerely addressing customer wishes over the years. I would definitely like to stay here again next time. Thank you very much.

    Clean and excellent service, everything is wonderful.

    Everything about this Ryokan was satisfying. It is a place I would love to visit again. The smoking room was also excellent. However, I accidentally hit the back of my ear (occipital area) on the end of the handrail in the golden bath while getting out. If it were slightly shorter or extended downward, such accidents could be avoided.

    I want to visit again.

    The bath and the room were both very nice. This time, I used the day-trip plan, but I would love to come and stay. The garden visible from the lobby was beautiful, and the splendid koi fish were very cute.
