Staying at a Registered Tangible Cultural Property Accommodation is truly wonderful.

I made a Reservation because I wanted to spend my 65th birthday at Ochiairo. It was so beautiful and wonderful that it was hard to believe the building is 150 years old. However, it was completely dark on the way to the bath, and I couldn’t see where I was stepping, which felt scary. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, but they felt a little light.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude for choosing us for your special anniversary. It was truly an honor to help create wonderful memories of your day. We sincerely apologize that the interior of the building was dark on your way to the baths, making it difficult to see where you were stepping and causing you concern. We will review our lighting and guidance methods and work to create an environment where guests can move around safely and with peace of mind. Regarding the meals, while we are grateful for your comment that they were “delicious,” we also take seriously your valuable feedback that the portions felt insufficient.
