    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near the station, perfect for sightseeing. The highlight was the staff—everyone was kind and approachable with a welcoming aura. The room was clean, and having separate areas for the bathroom and shower made it very convenient. I would definitely love to stay here again!

    I have stayed here several times. The location is excellent, and all the staff are very pleasant, making my stays always enjoyable. This time, it might have been a coincidence, but I noticed that the lighting near the sink was a bit dim. It would be great if this could be considered during future renovations. I look forward to staying at this Hotel again.

    I was able to relax very much in the spacious Room.

    I stayed here during a business trip. I chose this accommodation for its convenient location near the station, as I had an early departure the next morning. It was my first time staying here, but having previously stayed at The Thousand nearby, I had no trouble finding it from the station. I stayed in a spacious Premier Executive Double Room (the only available option at the lowest price), and it was indeed very roomy. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and all water facilities were conveniently located near the entrance, making them easy to use. While I wanted to give full marks due to the quality of the room, there were a few points that led me to deduct some: - During breakfast, there was no guidance on where to pick up chopsticks, forks, trays, etc., so I had to find them myself. However, I noticed that other guests who arrived later received clear instructions. - At the breakfast buffet while waiting for food replenishment (with a line forming behind me), staff did not acknowledge us or say something like "Please wait a moment," which would have been appreciated. - When food was being replenished at the buffet counter, spills around it were left unattended even after some time. Although I had been informed in advance about potential crowding due to group bookings that day and prepared myself accordingly, these small issues felt disappointing. On a positive note: The bathroom was exceptionally clean and beautiful; soaking in it slowly felt very relaxing. It would have been nice if bath salts were provided (though perhaps that's asking too much). Overall though—despite these minor drawbacks—I was highly satisfied with my stay and would love to return again!

    Travel

    I used this accommodation during my trip. The hotel staff were very kind, approachable, and left a great impression. During my stay, there was a water leakage issue from the floor above, but they promptly prepared another room for me, allowing me to have a trouble-free and pleasant stay. I would love to use this accommodation again when I visit Kyoto.

    Request for improvement in the opening direction of the toilet door

    I stayed in room 560 this time, but the inward-opening toilet door makes it difficult to enter as the space inside is tight, requiring me to twist my body. It is very inconvenient every time. Since it is the toilet right by the entrance and an outward-opening door would not pose any danger, I kindly request that you consider modifying it to open outward.

    Beyond expectations

    I initially avoided this hotel, thinking it was old, but decided to stay after learning it had been renovated. Conveniently located near the station, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. Great value for money—I'd love to stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

    Impressive service

    It was my first visit in several years. Last time, I requested a hair iron. This time, I was thrilled to find a hair iron already prepared in the Room. The Facility and service are both wonderful at this Hotel.

    Seeking the Extraordinary

    This was my first stay at the accommodation. I was delighted to have my room upgraded to a serene space where I could truly feel the essence of Kyoto. I noticed for the first time that the trash bins were separated into plastic, cans, PET bottles, and general waste. I thought this was a great initiative. The stay included an observation ticket for Nidec Kyoto Tower, so I visited for the first time in decades. The night view was beautiful. I had a relaxing time and felt thoroughly refreshed. I would love to stay again!

    The lobby lounge was elegant, and the view from the room was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and kind. Breakfast was delicious. Disappointing points: Room cleaning was not thorough. There was dust accumulated on the wooden frame under the mirror in front of the desk, and touching the desk itself left dust on my palm. The wooden frame in front of the desk might require detailed work due to its design, but it is quite noticeable, so I think some action should be taken. It was also inconvenient that there wasn’t a stand for placing suitcases in the room. While breakfast was tasty, I found it hard to relax because the BGM volume was too loud (perhaps this was intentional due to many guests?). If cleaning improves, I would like to stay again next time!

    Stayed in the Modern Suite.

    As a suite room, the special atmosphere is a given. However, from the 10th-floor room, you can overlook the JR line—this might appeal to some and not to others. Free drinks are provided with four cups and two glasses. It would be better if they matched the number of cups since there are many options for cold beverages. If you'd like to use your smartphone while charging on the sofa, you'll need an extension cord as there aren't many outlets available. Despite these minor details, I had a luxurious and enjoyable time.

    Excellent Room and Service

    We are grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a spacious and wonderful suite at a great value. The toilet with double doors and the smooth flow from the bathroom to the closet were impressive! All staff members greeted us with smiles and provided pleasant interactions, which reflects excellent training. If I may suggest, since it was a Multiple Night Stay, it would be nice to have more variety in meals or an increased number of dishes overall. The ice cream was delightful! However, I was disappointed that there was no matcha yokan. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay and became one of our lovely memories of Kyoto. Thank you so much!

    I used this place after a long time. It was disappointing that the Japanese restaurant and cake shop were no longer there, but I was satisfied with the service, including access and hospitality. The Room was clean, comfortable, and pleasant to stay in. I also enjoyed the Tsujiri matcha candies provided in the Room. Although the breakfast buffet was crowded, I was promptly guided to a table without any waiting time. The smoothies, yogurt, croissants, fruits, and salad were delicious.

    It was excellent.

    I had the opportunity to enjoy the buffet at the second-floor restaurant, La Jyho, in the evening, so I decided to stay at Century Hotel for the first time. The Modern Suite Room was spacious and quiet, with well-equipped amenities and a comfortable mattress, making my stay very pleasant. The waste bins were separated for recycling, which was great; however, it would have been nice to have a separate place to dispose of tea or coffee grounds. Additionally, I think having a morning newspaper service available (even for an additional fee) would be appreciated. I enjoyed buffets at La Jyho both in the evening and the next morning; each had its own unique atmosphere with plenty of variety that left me satisfied. The staff members were all cheerful and full of hospitality, making my stay enjoyable. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    Clean and comfortable.

    I stayed for one night with my mother. The breakfast had a variety of options and was delicious, and both the restaurant staff and reception were very efficient and provided excellent service. While I understand that amenities like lotion are not provided due to current times, it would be great if a clothing deodorizing spray could be available. Overall, the place was very clean and comfortable! I would love to visit again.

    It was relaxing.

    Stayed for 2 days during Obon. Having stayed here last year, I was already aware of its great convenience, so I chose to stay again this year. After sightseeing in Kyoto during the day, the separate-style bath provided a relaxing experience upon return. I would love to stay here again. The dashimaki omelet in the morning is absolutely fantastic!

    Overall satisfied.

    The staff were very kind. Kyoto Station is just nearby, and the location is excellent. The Room was a Grand Comfort Superior Twin, and although compact in design, it was nice that the sink and bathroom were separated. However, the partition between the bathroom and Room is made of glass with blinds, so when using the toilet at night, light leaks out. It would be great if this could be improved.     The Hotel offers exceptional hospitality.

    This was our second stay at the accommodation. Before check-in, we left our luggage at the cloakroom, and we were deeply moved when a staff member who assisted us during our previous visit remembered us and greeted us warmly. During both check-in and check-out, the staff were kind and welcoming with their smiles, which made us very happy. The room's bathroom had only a shower type, but the two types of showers were very comfortable, and the room itself was clean and provided a very pleasant stay. We plan to visit Kyoto in autumn for our grandchild's shrine visit ceremony, so we would love to stay here again!

    The Deluxe Family Room is fantastic!

    Kyoto Century Hotel is one of my favorites, and I stayed in the Deluxe Family Room. At check-in, I was delighted to hear that the suitcase I had sent ahead was already delivered to the room. This was a first-time experience for me. I have stayed in the Deluxe Family Room twice, and my children love it too. It’s truly a wonderful and comfortable room. The view of the Shinkansen and garden from the window is fantastic. The staff at the front desk were kind, and breakfast was delicious. They also smoothly arranged for my suitcase to be sent to my next accommodation. The location is excellent as it’s very close to the station, and I definitely want to stay in the Deluxe Family Room again next time!

    Value beyond price

    I stayed one night in the Jr. Suite. There was a garden, and the Room was spacious, making it a stay worth more than its price. The convenient access is also a plus point. I would love to use it again if I have the chance.

    It was a lovely Room.

    I often use this accommodation when staying in Kyoto. The bathroom, washroom, and toilet are separate, making it very convenient. The interior was also lovely in the room. The only disappointment was that while relaxing on the bed, vibrations from bed-making in the neighboring room were strongly felt.

    It was good!

    It was just a one-night stay without meals, so I can't say much, but it wasn't bad. The staff were polite, and the Room was clean. It's close to Kyoto Station. After check-out, they kindly stored my luggage, which was very helpful. On a very hot day, I had shaved ice at the restaurant, and it was delicious. As expected from a Hotel restaurant's shaved ice!

    Reward Trip

    With a one-night stay in collaboration with Takao's riverbed, the Hotel provided Shuttle Service, making it easy to reach without getting lost. The food was delicious, and the traditional dance by the maiko was wonderful. I would love to visit again next year!

    The staff's attentiveness and consideration are always impressive. The room is comfortable, allowing for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the accommodation tax can be paid via a machine at check-in, making check-out quick and very convenient.

    Sofa malfunction in the Room

    I stayed from June 14th to 16th. The sofa in the room made loud creaking noises no matter where I sat, which should have been noticeable during cleaning. It was surprising for a hotel like Century Hotel. I informed the reception staff about this at checkout. I was looking forward to staying at this lovely hotel, so I was very disappointed. I hope the furniture will be inspected as well.

    Very satisfied

    The hotel staff kindly upgraded our room as there was availability. The room was clean and well-maintained, and with a relaxed check-out time, we were able to unwind completely. The highlight of this stay was the meal. While the food itself was highly satisfying, combined with the room upgrade, it made for an overall exceptional experience! Both check-in and check-out were smooth without any waiting. I would love to visit again.

    This is my second stay, and it is a very comfortable Hotel with a friendly front desk. It is close to the station, and the quiet lobby provides a relaxing atmosphere. However, I would prefer if items like toothbrushes were available in the Room. I will use this Hotel again. Thank you very much!
