    Enjoy an Accommodation with breathtaking views

    The ocean view from the Room was stunning, and we could even see Mt. Fuji from the window. All of the staff were kind, and we had a very comfortable stay. The Room was spacious, and the view bath was also relaxing. This time we chose a Plan with breakfast, and enjoyed it via room service while taking in the spectacular scenery. Next time, we would like to try the teppanyaki dinner. We hope to visit again in summer.

    This is my third stay. I have searched extensively for high-end Hotels in Japan, but this Hotel is truly the best in the country in both facilities and service. The hospitality is especially outstanding. As soon as I get home, I want to make my next Reservation right away.

    Our first trip with our son, his wife, and our grandchild.

    Thank you very much for your thoughtful care during our first trip with our son and daughter-in-law and our grandchild. The Room with its wonderful view, as well as the dinner and breakfast that our whole family praised, were truly delicious. In particular, the desserts impressed us as works of art showcasing the pastry chef’s skill. Every word from the staff was warm, and we were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. We would love to stay again.

    It was a wonderful treat.

    The panoramic ocean view from the Room window, dinner enjoyed while watching the sunset—everything was wonderful, and it felt as though the fatigue of everyday life simply melted away. The wines served at dinner all paired beautifully with the meal, and thanks to your thoughtful explanations, I felt I could appreciate them even more. Personally, my happiest moment was soaking in the Room bath while watching the sky gradually brighten. All of your staff were so kind—thank you very much.

    Amazing value for money! It was a wonderful Accommodation.

    I usually stay at an Accommodation where the Room has a pool or an open-air bath, so this time I also booked a Room with a pool. However, I learned at check-in that the pool isn’t available in winter, and they kindly changed my Room for me. I’m truly sorry for the trouble. Even though the Accommodation is right by the sea, everything was very well maintained, and dinner was absolutely satisfying! We also had breakfast in our Room—it was wonderful and delicious. There were no complaints at all. Since Reviews varied quite a bit depending on the Reservation site, I was honestly a little worried. But looking at some of the cheaper Reservation sites, I think the lower ratings may come from guests who expected too much. For those who usually stay at Accommodations in this price range, I believe there will be very few points of dissatisfaction, and you can spend a calm and lovely time here. It also seems perfect for a girls’ trip!! When I visited, it seemed like there were guests traveling as two generations—perhaps their son had gotten married and was staying with his wife—and it felt like this is an Accommodation that becomes part of someone’s beautiful life story. It really warmed my heart. I’ll definitely visit again. Thank you so much for accommodating my requests despite my being demanding.

    A scenic setting and space that feels like being abroad

    I’d been interested for a long time because of the consistently high ratings, and finally made a last-minute Reservation in February. Hayama is close to central Tokyo, but since there’s no Onsen, it wasn’t an area I had visited much before. However, when I actually went, the coastline was beautiful, and it felt calm and relaxed—less crowded than Kamakura or Enoshima. Otowa no Mori also hosts weddings, so it was a wonderful Western-style Hotel. While there is no Onsen, there is an outdoor heated pool that you can enjoy even in winter. Although there is a road in between, the location is right on the first row by the sea. The staff were all Japanese and many were experienced professionals; service such as meal service was attentive throughout. The food featured many local ingredients, and I felt it offered dishes you can only enjoy here. It was a truly special escape from everyday life and left me feeling refreshed. Thank you very much.

    A wonderful Hotel with ocean views

    I wanted to see the ocean, so I booked this Hotel as soon as I saw it on the website. The Room had a wonderful location with nothing but ocean views, and it was truly relaxing. Dining in the open restaurant was excellent—watching the sunset at night and the beautiful sea in the morning, each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. The staff’s calm and courteous service was very pleasant.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    We stayed as three generations. From the time of our Reservation, we received attentive support, which reassured us that this must be a wonderful Hotel, and we looked forward to our stay with peace of mind. The beautiful building had a Mediterranean resort feel, and the pleasant service and thoughtful attention to detail were truly impressive. The meals were delicious, and the restaurant was a lovely space. The Room was spacious and comfortable, allowing us to spend precious time together—something that rarely happens for all three generations—and turn it into a wonderful memory. We sincerely thank all the gentlemen who assisted us.

    It was excellent.

    I have stayed at various Ryokans and Hotels, but the atmosphere of the Room was top-notch. The view of the sea and sunset from the entire Room was breathtaking.     Everything is excellent.

    This is our second stay. My husband loves the view from the room, and he was especially excited to stay again because we can bring our beloved pet dog, whom he cherishes like his own child.     Excellent service

    The facility itself is excellent, but the personalized service is outstanding. All the staff are highly skilled, providing a great sense of security. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. This time, I requested wine pairing during dinner. The sommelier's service was remarkable, making the dining experience twice as enjoyable. The staff who served breakfast also provided excellent service. Overall, everything was handled with professional care. This is my second stay here, and it offers an incredible sense of reassurance. This is a hotel I would love to visit regularly for a relaxing vacation.

    It became the perfect gift.

    Stayed with my adult daughter as a birthday gift for her. We had informed the staff about food preferences in advance, and they were incredibly considerate. Among our six trips together, this was the one where I saw her happiest smile. The spa and room were clean, comfortable, and allowed us to enjoy a relaxing and elegant time. My daughter and I talked about wanting to come back again. It was cloudy during our stay, so we hope to revisit on a sunnier day!

    This time, we stayed at the newly renovated Otowa no Mori to celebrate my husband's birthday. The moment we opened the room door, the ocean view of the beautiful sea perfectly matched the luxurious room, exceeding our expectations. The service was also excellent. We have made a reservation for Christmas Eve and are looking forward to enjoying Christmas as well.

    A wonderful Hotel with delicious meals

    I chose this Hotel for my long-awaited summer vacation, hoping to relax in a Room with a full ocean view. The view was as beautiful as expected. If it weren’t late summer, sitting outside on the chairs and enjoying the sea would have been even more pleasant. Dinner featured dishes made with fresh local ingredients, all carefully prepared and delicious. I didn’t upload photos of the two main dishes since we were in them. The staff recommended teppanyaki as well. For breakfast, we opted for Room service and enjoyed it leisurely. The Hotel staff provided excellent service, which made my aunt happy too—what a relief! The cocktail I requested was delightful. I was surprised to find our Room equipped with universal design features after mentioning that my aunt has difficulty eating hard foods—thank you for your thoughtful consideration! The handrails installed in various places were especially helpful; I truly appreciate your efforts. Regarding the Facility, some items like the bathtub and hairdryer were slightly challenging for elderly guests to use. This time, we traveled round-trip by taxi from Kamakura; it cost about 5,000 yen one way. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    The Perfect Staycation

    When my husband’s work finally settled down, we decided to take a short trip nearby, and I requested Hayama Hotel Otowa no Mori, which I’d been curious about for a while. On the day of our Reservation, we arrived a little early, and although I worried it might be an inconvenience, I parked at the entrance and asked the staff just in case. They handled everything very smoothly and kindly let us check in, which was a huge help. Maybe our Room had simply finished being cleaned, but everyone welcomed us with wonderful smiles, and from the very start I felt relieved that we chose this Hotel. After that, we were shown to our Room and checked the interior design and amenities—everything was beautiful and exactly my taste. This time we chose a Room with a private pool. Compared with similar pool Rooms in places like Okinawa, the width and depth were perfect for us as a couple. I had been slightly concerned because the pool details said it wasn’t heated water but regular water; however, Japan’s summer heat made it just the right temperature. We were able to relax completely and spend truly meaningful time there. The view was also spectacular! For dinner, they seated us on the ocean side as well, so we could enjoy an amazing view along with dishes that were genuinely delicious and beautifully presented. It also looked like there was a teppanyaki dining room further inside—if we have another chance to visit someday, I’d love to try that too. Above all, it felt like a dreamlike Hotel filled with thoughtful hospitality for each guest. If you’re looking for Accommodation in Hayama, I highly recommend it.

    A Rewarding Trip for Yourself

    I stayed at the accommodation as a treat for myself during my birthday month. The non-alcoholic cocktail served as a welcome drink was sweet, delicious, and had a summery color. The moment I entered the room, I was deeply moved by the beautiful sky and sea visible through the large window. Since the weather forecast had predicted clouds or rain, I was worried about it, but luckily it turned out sunny. At 3 PM, I enjoyed wine on the first floor in a calm atmosphere where I could relax. Dinner was served in my room. As this was a solo trip, I could enjoy my meal leisurely without worrying about others' eyes. The course dishes were all wonderful and delicious with just the right portion sizes—not too much or too little. The birthday plate made me very happy; thank you so much! I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing staycation while admiring the stunning scenery—it felt like time flew by so quickly. Sitting on the sofa until the end while gazing at the sea made me wish to spend more time here... It was such an incredibly satisfying experience that I've decided to come back again next year! Thank you to all of your kind staff members for their hospitality!

    I often drive along Route 134 from Chigasaki to Miura, and I had the pleasure of staying at Hayama Hotel Otowanomori, which had always caught my attention. It was absolutely amazing. The view from the room was breathtaking, with no obstructive power lines or people in sight—just the horizon blending seamlessly with the blue sky. I could gaze at it forever. Moreover, this same stunning view could be enjoyed from the bathroom as well, making it a truly rewarding experience. The room itself was beautifully designed with a white base and tastefully matched antique furnishings—I honestly felt like I wanted to live there. As for dining, while I'm not usually a fan of French cuisine due to its complexity, every dish served here was delicious. The staff's engaging conversations about each dish conveyed the chef's passion and completely changed my perception of French cuisine. Lastly, this wonderful experience would not have been possible without the exceptional hospitality of all the staff members who assisted us during our stay. Thank you very much! I look forward to visiting again in autumn!

    温泉と美味しいものでゆっくりしたい

    Enjoy a perfect getaway with your wife at the newly renovated Hayama Otowa no Mori.

    Took a half-day summer vacation the next morning and visited Hayama Otowa no Mori for the first time in 9 years with my wife. After strolling around Kamakura, we arrived by climbing the familiar slope. The view from the front desk was as beautiful as ever. The Room design was completely different. Spent about an hour in the infinity pool, which was warm enough to stay in comfortably for a long time. Dinner included bite-sized tarts, bonito with gribiche sauce, eel and chanterelle mushrooms, splendid sculpin fish, Hayama beef, and compote dessert—all simply outstanding. Despite feeling that French cuisine portions in Tokyo are often too large these days, everything went down smoothly without any heaviness. It was undoubtedly the most delicious meal of this year among both domestic and international cuisines. The next morning started with a leisurely breakfast while enjoying views of Hayama's sea from our Room. Although the Hotel has undergone significant renovations, the staff's demeanor remains that of "perfect hoteliers" as it always has been. Checked out at 11 AM and stopped by HAYAMA STATION for some shopping before heading back to work seamlessly in the afternoon as if nothing had happened. My wife also commented that it was better than Karuizawa or Yugawara. We were thoroughly satisfied with such a rich experience and would be delighted to visit again someday. Thank you very much!

    I recently stayed at your Hotel. From check-in to check-out, I had an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable time. The view of the ocean from the Room was absolutely stunning. Soaking my feet in the footbath while watching the changing colors of the sea was a luxurious moment that made me forget about daily life. Thanks to the warm and thoughtful hospitality of the manager and all staff members, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. The dishes served at your restaurant were carefully prepared, and I deeply appreciated your consideration for allergies as well. After checking out, I visited a lovely café near your Hotel, which was a delightful experience. Having such a relaxing spot to unwind at the end of my trip was truly wonderful.
