    It was kind.

    We stayed in Okayama on our way to visit a family grave in Kagawa with my mother, who uses a wheelchair. The Twin Room was arranged with an extra bed, and we were very well taken care of. The spacious room offered beautiful views of Okayama Station's nightscape and the morning glow, enhancing our travel experience. We chose the buffet-style breakfast, and the main galette was delicious. All ingredients were fresh, and while there weren’t many varieties of bread or cereal, everything was high-quality. The fresh orange juice was particularly delightful. My mother prefers Japanese cuisine, so having more Japanese side dishes would make it perfect for her. Since she has difficulty chewing, we appreciated your thoughtful gesture of finely chopping pickles for her—thank you very much! We look forward to staying again!

    Convenient and Authentic Hotel

    Conveniently located near Okayama Station with easy access to nearby dining areas. This time, I chose the breakfast plan at the café lounge due to an early morning schedule. The warm croissant, juice, and yogurt made for a high-quality breakfast that perfectly suited my tight schedule during this stay. The hospitality was a step above typical business hotels, and the staff's welcoming service added to the comfort. Thank you very much!

    Twin Room Size

    Even though it is a Hotel near the station, the Room feels too small for a twin in the countryside. In that case, it should be clearly stated in advance that it is a Room sized for single use of a twin. Okayama itself is a wonderful place, and I had an enjoyable time at the sushi restaurant near the castle, which makes this all the more disappointing.

    Excellent convenience

    The convenience of Granvia is exceptional. Most Granvia hotels are directly connected to the station, allowing you to reach the station without getting wet even in sudden rain—a significant advantage. While the age of the building may show in its facilities and layout, its convenience outweighs these factors. Thanks to booking through IKYU, I was upgraded as well. Much appreciated!

    Directly connected to the station, making it very convenient.

    We stayed overnight near Korakuen for a pre-wedding family meeting for our son. The day before, we visited Kurashiki and arrived early, so we left our luggage at the front desk and went out by train from the nearby station. The hotel's proximity to the station made everything very convenient. The building is slightly old but has a charming atmosphere, with plenty of restaurants and facilities to enjoy within the premises. The bed was incredibly comfortable for a great night's sleep. It would be appreciated if female amenities, which are currently charged, could be provided free of charge upon request at the front desk only to those who need them.

    The rooms are small.

    Stayed in an Economy Twin Room, but the room was small and cramped, with a bathroom comparable to a Business Hotel. The breakfast included is not worth the price—just croissants, peaches, juice, coffee, and yogurt.

    A Hotel That Meets Your Expectations

    The facilities and services were excellent, and I was very satisfied. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. The fresh juice was squeezed on the spot, which made it aromatic and delightful. This time, I was given a high-floor room with a train view, which was great. It has become a hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the chance to visit Okayama.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    I traveled to Okayama with a friend and their spouse for personal reasons. Although it was unfortunately rainy, our purpose was unaffected by the weather. We chose not to dine at the Hotel as we wanted to enjoy local cuisine. However, the Room was comfortable, and when I requested a bottle opener from the front desk for an in-room drink, they responded promptly. Personally, I prefer Hotels like Granvia that offer reliable service over more budget-friendly options.

    Slippers are not disposable.

    I have been a loyal guest of this Hotel for over 20 years. Conveniently located near the station with great service—it's always been perfect. However, I was surprised to find that the slippers were no longer disposable but instead reusable ones provided in the room. With the increase in inbound guests and potential risks like athlete's foot, I felt uneasy about this change. That said, many Hotels are adopting similar practices these days. I would appreciate it if disposable slippers could at least be made available for purchase as an option. This Hotel is often used for medical department meetings and gatherings of doctors, isn't it? I doubt doctors would ever use reusable slippers. In my opinion, eco-friendliness and infection risk should not be weighed equally as options to choose from. For my next stay, I'll bring my own disposable slippers. I hope this information helps others considering staying here!

    Second visit to Okay...

    Second visit to Okayama. I chose this accommodation near the station as I arrived on a late-night flight. The room was much cleaner and more comfortable than I expected. It was also great that Netflix (if you are a member) was available. The service was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again without hesitation when visiting Okayama next time. Although I couldn't take advantage of it this time, the happy hour seemed like a thoughtful touch as well.

    Breakfast and morning Pilates are highly recommended.

    The check-in guidance was very kind and accommodating for families with children, leaving a great impression. The room on the 12th floor offered a great view of the bullet train, which delighted the children. The room's facilities were excellent. Morning Pilates is a must-join activity! Breakfast was delicious overall, but the highlights were the customizable Eggs Benedict-style dish, fresh orange juice, white peach and rice juice, and croissants—these are must-try items as well. However, I only noticed the pickled mackerel sushi and yellow chive sushi towards the end... If these were promoted more prominently, satisfaction would be even higher. I would love to stay again next time. Thank you very much!

    My husband and son were taken care of with an overnight stay and day use. For the day use, we knew the room type was different from the overnight stay, so I reminded my husband, who is not used to traveling, to confirm the room change with the staff at check-in. However, we were kindly allowed to continue staying in the same room, which was a great relief for both my inexperienced husband and myself, who made the reservation. Thank you for the long hours in the wonderful room. The large parfait they had in the lounge on their way back was said to be very delicious.

    Stable quality

    There were no particular complaints. Regarding the man at the reception who has been there for many years, I am always impressed by how pleasant he is. A Facility with sincere and wonderful hotel staff provides peace of mind.

    There is a convenience store, so it's not a problem, but when I wanted something at night, the ice machines and poorly stocked vending machines on each floor felt a bit insufficient.

    Exit the Okayama Station Shinkansen exit, go straight through the commercial Facility across the street, and you will find an entrance connected to the Hotel. It is very convenient.

    Regular Property!

    I stay here every year during my business trips. Since it is directly connected to the station building, there is absolutely no trouble with shopping and other needs. Of course, the same goes for dining areas and convenience stores. The breakfast menu is of high quality and offers a wide variety, which I believe belongs to an A-rank level. Whenever I go to Okayama, it's always Granvia!

    Convenient location

    Directly connected to the station, it is very convenient for station users. The single Room is a bit small, but the bed is wide and sufficiently sized. The toilet is small, so I rated the Facility 4 points, but overall I am satisfied.

    It was a very comfortable stay.

    This time, we used the Family Deluxe Room for the first time. It was used by 7 people across 4 generations, but the room could be divided into two; one room had twin beds for the elderly parents, and the other room had a triple bed and a sofa bed, providing ample space for a comfortable stay. There was a bath and shower room, two wash basins, a separate toilet, and a TV in each room. Although small, there was a sufficient refrigerator-freezer, an electric kettle, a microwave, and a coffee maker, making it fully equipped. The hairdryer was from Panasonic and Aderans, and the hair iron was also from Panasonic. Since we could take off our shoes and enter the room, it was reassuring to have small children and spend time comfortably. We would definitely like to use it again next time.

    What a waste!

    The room cleaning was perfect, but the hairdryer was not working well. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that dust had accumulated in the intake, reducing its power. It was unfortunate, but understandable.

    Outstanding convenience

    It is very convenient as it is directly connected to JR Okayama Station. The Room was not particularly spacious as it was used by three people, but considering the price, I think it was very cheap for New Year's Eve with breakfast included. On New Year's Day morning, we enjoyed traditional New Year's dishes, which were very delicious.

    This time, two nights

    The check-in process seems to have been streamlined a bit. As for the bath salts offered as a Diamond Member benefit, it might be better to go back to offering Okayama's famous sweets, as the connection to Okayama is not very clear.

    Room upgrade available after a long time

    In winter, it seems to be less crowded than in summer, so even at the end of the year, I was able to stay in a good Room at a low price due to an upgrade. The free parking and free pool for Diamond members are appreciated. The pool reception had been relocated.

    In Okayama

    When staying in Okayama, I always choose Granvia Okayama. It's directly connected to the station, making it very convenient, and the front desk staff are very professional. This time, I was upgraded to a higher grade Room, and I was able to spend my time comfortably. I definitely want to use it again.
