    Although it looks a bit old, it is well maintained.

    This time I stayed in a standard twin room.\nThe space was quite small—once the luggage was opened, it was hard to move around.\nThe beds were very comfortable, and the pillows suited me well.\nOverall, everything was very clean.\nPerhaps because my stay at Hotel Monterey Himeji the day before did not meet expectations (the bed made noise, the bath changing room had an unpleasant odor, used towels were piled up to about 150 cm in the towel return area, and the bath area was small and crowded), I ended up really liking Hotel Granvia Okayama.\nHowever, since I don’t recall there being a public bath here, I can’t judge that point and gave it 3 stars for that item.

    Conveniently located near Okayama Station!

    It was a good Hotel with a convenient location near Okayama Station, and the front desk staff were very helpful. Having a supermarket nearby was also convenient. I would like to stay here again when visiting Okayama.

    Directly connected to the station—excellent.

    We stayed for three nights on a family trip. With direct access to Okayama Station, it was extremely convenient. There is also a wonderful restaurant on the upper floors, but we skipped it this time because we were traveling with our 3-year-old. We’d love to try the restaurant once our child is a bit older.

    We were very satisfied, but if possible, we have three requests: 1) Since the bathroom has both a bathtub and a washing area, we would like a wash bucket. 2) Since the bathroom has both a bathtub and a washing area, we would like a mirror in the bathroom. 3) We would like hooks for bath towels by the sink.     I wish they’d expand the Diamond benefits.

    The old Diamond benefits included jelly and snacks. It would be nice to have at least that much. I understand that Room upgrades may be difficult.

    Consistently reliable service

    I stayed in a Compact Double on an upper floor on July 13. I visit Okayama on business every year around this time, and I stay here almost every time. It’s really convenient, close to the station and also near AEON. You can tell it has been renovated to some extent, but the Facility does feel a bit dated; still, there’s no doubt it’s the city’s leading city Hotel. If I may make a request—this may go against SDGs—but would it be possible to provide skincare items such as toner and emulsion as standard amenities? Also, although I didn’t use it this time, I remember the breakfast venue being very crowded before and feeling rushed. I understand it may be difficult from a cost-saving perspective, but I would love for the Kibiji breakfast to return.

    Quality has improved.

    It’s been a while since my last stay at Hotel Granvia Okayama, and I felt the overall quality has improved. I noticed it in the staff service, the Room interior, and amenities. Some areas are still under construction, so I assume improvements are being made across operations. I stay in Okayama regularly, so I look forward to future visits.

    When returning home to visit family

    I always stay here when I come back to visit family. The location is great, and I enjoyed Netflix too. The bathtub is starting to feel a bit old.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    Because I had an early-morning flight, I stayed the night before at a local Hotel in Okayama. It seemed there were vacancies on the day of my stay, and for a small additional fee they assigned me to a Room with separate bath and toilet. I originally booked it just to sleep, but the Room was so lovely that I quickly went out to buy dinner at Sunste and Ichibangai and decided to spend the evening in the Room instead. Watching local trains and Shinkansen come and go from the window, I thought, “Next time I’m back in Okayama, I’ll stay at Granvia again,” enjoyed a relaxing bath, and was able to head out the next day feeling refreshed. Thank you very much to the male front desk staff member who kindly suggested alternative Room options so flexibly.

    The Room was comfortable and had a great view.

    This time, we stayed on a high floor and the view was excellent. Having the bath and toilet separated is a hallmark of a premium Room. The location is great, and it’s rare to find a Hotel that can accommodate four people, which was very helpful. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

    Highly rated Hotel

    We stayed with three people and never felt cramped. The staff were very friendly, and we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a satisfying portion as well.

    Surprisingly good breakfast

    It said a simple breakfast was included, so I kept my expectations low, but while it wasn’t extravagant, the quality really came through—I was impressed and thought, “As expected of Granvia.” Next time, I’ll choose a more spacious Room.

    We had a wonderful stay.

    Because the hotel is directly connected to the station, I was able to get there without getting lost. I left my luggage before check-in, which made sightseeing much easier. In the lounge, I enjoyed beautifully presented sweets and drinks and was able to relax as soon as I arrived. The conversation with the staff was also delightful, and during our chat we realized that I had actually visited about 20 years ago for my cousin’s wedding! No wonder it felt familiar—haha. Thank you for your thoughtful help when we mentioned we wanted to listen to jazz in the evening. The peach-scented bath salts were wonderful and helped soothe my tired body after a full day of walking around. In the end, I think what made our stay so comfortable was the kindness and attentiveness of all the staff. On our way out, we also bought some Japanese sweets that were delicious in the lounge (they even told us where to buy them). I would love to stay here again when visiting Okayama.

    During the Golden Week holidays

    Since it was during the Golden Week holidays, the price was high, and I’m not sure it was worth it… However, the staff who provided sightseeing guidance were kind and helpful.

    Excellent convenience.

    After exiting the Shinkansen gates, go straight through ekie in front of you and you’ll find the Hotel entrance—very convenient for sightseeing from Okayama Station. The Room itself felt a bit dated, but it was well cleaned and there were no issues. However, the bathroom, toilet, and sink area did show their age. The front desk and dining bar staff were very pleasant, making for a comfortable stay.

    The property feels outdated, and the breakfast is poorly seasoned.

    Although it is described as directly connected to Okayama Station, it is actually a fair walk away, and the Room feels dated. I tried the breakfast buffet. While the menu has some creative touches, the seasoning is terrible.

    Great location.

    Close to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden, with a great location. The only meal available was breakfast, but a buffet-style option might be better. Also, the Diamond Member perk of one bag of bath salts per Room was helpful. Free parking is another appreciated service. However, rather than free pool access, I felt something like a welcome drink would be nicer. The front desk staff also gave an awkward smile.

    A comfortable and convenient location.

    We stayed in a new Room on the 5th floor, and everyone loved it. The space is spacious, and the Facilities are new. We also really enjoyed the morning yoga class—it’s wonderful to start the day with stretching and relaxation. We also recommend breakfast on the 19th floor of the Hotel. The selection is abundant and refined, so please try it if you have the chance. It’s a great, comfortable Hotel in a convenient location. Highly recommended.

    Overall: Excellent

    Regarding the Reservation, we caused you inconvenience due to our mistake, but you kindly assisted us. Directly connected to the station building, it was convenient for shopping and dining. The room was clean, there was a coffee machine, and the bathroom was comfortable. Although we stayed only one night, it was excellent.

    Bathroom Drainage

    I started staying here on business trips because the location is convenient and all the Hotel staff are very pleasant, but the Room I stayed in this time left the bathroom flooded after use, possibly due to a clogged bathtub drain pipe. The toilet was also dirty, which was disappointing. I checked out early the next morning.

    The location was great.

    I chose this hotel because it is directly connected to Okayama Station. It was clean and the room size was just right—perfect for sightseeing in Okayama. There were plenty of dining options, so I had no trouble finding places to eat.

    Please check the breakfast details carefully before making a Reservation.

    The card reader on the elevator is not very responsive and often won’t react unless you hold your card up for a while. I should have checked more carefully when making the Reservation, but the continental breakfast is simply too limited. Overall, my impression has declined compared to before.

    So close!

    I use this Accommodation often. It’s close to the station, clean, and the staff are very helpful—overall an excellent place to stay. Just one thing: the toilet seat feels small. At 172 cm tall, I feel that way, so I imagine guests who are over 180 cm or from Western countries may find it uncomfortable. That’s the only point that has always concerned me.

    It exceeded my expectations.

    Stayed at the accommodation for the first time on a business trip. Although I checked in quite late due to unfinished work, the comfortable room completely relieved my fatigue. The clean room offered beautiful views of both the night scenery and sunrise, exceeding my expectations!
