    It exceeded my expectations.

    Stayed at the accommodation for the first time on a business trip. Although I checked in quite late due to unfinished work, the comfortable room completely relieved my fatigue. The clean room offered beautiful views of both the night scenery and sunrise, exceeding my expectations!

    Junior Suite

    The Room was excellent. The breakfast looked more luxurious in the photos, but the variety was a bit lacking for the price. However, the selectable main dish was very delicious. The facility was clean, and the staff were very kind and attentive. As a Diamond member, parking fees were waived. The bath salt with peach scent was delightful and refreshing.

    A Comfortable Stay from Start to Finish

    I stayed here for a high school reunion after 10 years, returning to my hometown. The staff, including the front desk, were polite and pleasant. Although I arrived earlier than the check-in time and the room was still being cleaned, they prepared everything within about five minutes while I waited in the lobby. The Room's bathroom showed some signs of age but was thoroughly cleaned and comfortable. Breakfast featured plenty of local Okayama ingredients, making it not only delicious but also a great opportunity to rediscover Okayama. While there is no gym, there is a pool available for exercise during your stay. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would love to stay here again when visiting Okayama in the future.

    Year-end Homecoming

    The location is convenient. It’s easy to feel the year-end festivities and go shopping. The Room I booked was small, so it felt a bit inconvenient, but I was able to relax and enjoy my time. I also got to taste the New Year’s breakfast. The ozoni soup was delicious.

    We used 3 Rooms for ...

    We used 3 Rooms for my second son's wedding party. It was a bit challenging with an infant, two mischievous elementary school kids, and a loud preschooler, but the staff kindly arranged the Rooms in advance after our communication. We also fully enjoyed the D-member benefits. Thank you so much for your hospitality! The breakfast on the 19th floor was especially delicious. Although we stayed for 2 nights this time, there were still many dishes I wanted to try but couldn't. It made me wish we had stayed one more night! We would love to stay again in the future. Thank you!

    Best Location

    Located right next to Okayama Station for the Shinkansen, there is no more convenient location. The staff, including the front desk team, provide excellent service, ensuring a satisfying stay.

    Is it the original Showa-era facility?

    Stayed here due to its direct access from the station, but the facility felt outdated, reminiscent of the Showa era rather than a modern business hotel. The vending machine on the second floor didn’t accept 1,000 yen bills—perhaps it was under maintenance?

    The housekeeping staff provided excellent service.

    I have been using this Hotel once or twice a year for the past four years. The staff at the front desk and cloakroom are always very kind, making it a safe and comfortable place even for a solo female traveler. This time, I accidentally spilled coffee in the room and reported it to the cleaning staff when leaving, along with my apology. Their response was exceptional. Although I felt terrible about causing trouble, their kindness helped me feel more at ease. I deeply regret adding to their workload due to my mistake, but I still wish to continue staying at this Hotel in the future.

    Flexible service

    Due to a misunderstanding about the room type, possibly caused by the reservation site's description, I initially felt disappointed after check-in. However, while strolling around nearby shops with my family, I received a call from what seemed to be a senior staff member of the hotel who provided very flexible and accommodating support. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to enjoy a pleasant and wonderful trip. Thank you very much! That said, I would like to mention one thing: adjusting the bathwater temperature was quite difficult, and unfortunately, the shower booth had poor drainage which caused water to accumulate at my feet—this was uncomfortable. If these issues can be improved upon, it would make for an even more fantastic room. I look forward to staying again in an upgraded bathroom where I can relax even more next time!

    Stayed for two night...

    Stayed for two nights on a business trip. The hotel is directly connected to the station, making it very convenient. On the second night, I requested a change to accommodate a friend who decided to join me last minute, and the staff kindly made the adjustment. Everything was perfectly set up for two people upon our return. The bathroom is a standard unit bath, but the rest of the room had a luxurious feel and was very comfortable. There were only four hangers provided; personally, I would have appreciated having more. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Thank you!

    Great satisfaction with accommodation at Granvia Okayama

    Excellent access. Three beds are provided for a stay of three people (often a spare bed is used in such cases). The TV is internet-connected, allowing you to enjoy subscription services. The bathroom is clean, and the shower is very comfortable, making it perfect for a multiple night stay. Thank you very much!

    The Room and Facilit...

    The Room and Facility were excellent. However, as shown in the attached photo, there is a discrepancy between the illustration and the actual buttons on the toilet's washlet instructions. It might be better to align them for consistency. This kind of pictogram consideration is important not only for foreign guests but also for children who cannot yet read kanji.

    Although my trip turned into just a Shinkansen journey to Okayama due to canceled plans, staying at your accommodation made it an unforgettable experience. Among all the accommodations I’ve stayed at, yours offered the best hospitality and left me feeling truly refreshed. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. While I usually find buffets mundane and bothersome, your staff’s warm greetings and thoughtful service created a welcoming atmosphere. The layout of the buffet area was well-organized, and the selection of local ingredients provided a unique touch that made me feel connected to Okayama. It was a delightful start to my day with healthy and natural options that felt both casual yet special. Additionally, the Pilates session gathered over ten participants of various levels, creating an enjoyable 30-minute experience led by an excellent trainer. It fostered camaraderie among strangers in such a pleasant way. Your hotel’s attention to detail stood out—from the coffee drip set in the room, carefully chosen furnishings, well-stocked drawers and refrigerator items, to staff smiles and kind words. The team’s coordination under management reflects pride in representing Okayama as its premier accommodation. This second stay exceeded my first visit's already high expectations—so much so that I couldn’t help but write this lengthy comment! Despite changes in my travel plans, staying here turned out to be an enriching experience. Please continue being such an outstanding hotel; for the first time ever, I’ve given nearly perfect ratings!

    I have stayed here several times, and it is a convenient location near the station with a comfortable Room. The cleaning is thorough as well. I would like to stay again when I visit Okayama.

    The age of the facility cannot be denied.

    During the Obon season, we stayed as a family in a quadruple room for 80,000 yen. We had some expectations, but the facility was outdated, and the bathroom was shared with the toilet in a Showa-era business style. My son even commented that it felt like "a training camp." It wasn't terrible, but I don't think we would stay here again.

    Always exceptional, no matter when you stay.

    I visit in summer and winter, sometimes alone, with my wife, or with my child. When it's just the two of us without the child, we often skip breakfast because I can't wake up due to a hangover. I'd like to visit the buffet on the upper floor again after a long time. It's disappointing that IKYU Diamond Member benefits have not been restored or improved since they were downgraded. For those who may not know, in the past there was a clearly stated free upgrade benefit, and souvenirs included not only simple bath salts but also premium sweets and jellies. Since Hotel staff might read this, I'll include a suggestion: having automated check-in and check-out machines could be convenient. Especially for check-outs that most people complete in an instant!

    Room upgrades were more common in the past, depending on room availability. There was even a time when it was explicitly stated as a Diamond Member benefit. Speaking of Diamond benefits, they used to offer jelly or snacks before, but now it's just bath salts. It would be nice to have better perks.

    The most convenient Hotel in Okayama

    I stayed here for a trip to Okayama. The location was convenient, and I had a comfortable stay without any inconvenience. I enjoyed visiting the bar on the 19th floor, as well as experiencing the pool and yoga, which made me like this place even more. The Room was clean with a well-thought-out layout, making my stay pleasant. While there were no lotions provided, I think minimal amenities are sufficient. I would love to stay here again.     Reliable service

    I stay here every time during my summer and winter business trips. The location is convenient with easy access to transportation, and being close to the station building and AEON makes shopping and dining comfortable. However, the room I stayed in this time had a FOOTLIGHT that did not work, which was slightly inconvenient when sleeping.

    Check-in was late, so it was nice to relax the next morning. Being directly connected to the station with nearby souvenir shops and restaurants was convenient, and there were many coin lockers in the connecting passageway to the Hotel.
