    Unfortunately...

    Although the weather was not favorable, the scenery was excellent. However, was the decline in service and food quality just a coincidence? Has the popular Hotel shifted to a low-cost operation policy? I was really looking forward to visiting after a long time, so it’s truly disappointing.

    Perfect for a mother-daughter trip!

    Every year, I go on a trip with my mother. This time, we chose the Japan-Daira Hotel. My mother loves seeing Mt. Fuji and wanted to connect with nature, so this was her request. Although the weather didn’t allow us to see Mt. Fuji this time, it was still amazing! We were completely satisfied. My mother was so happy, and seeing her joy made me happy too. First of all, the view. Then the food. And most importantly, the staff’s hospitality—everything was genuinely excellent without exaggeration. This is the first hotel that made me want to come back again. Thank you very much! Next time, we’ll come back for a chance to finally see Mt. Fuji!

    The scenery was truly breathtaking.

    The satisfaction may vary depending on whether Mount Fuji is visible or not, but on the first day, the weather was excellent, and we were able to see Mount Fuji right in front of us—it was truly amazing. We also used the Shuttle Service to the nearby Nihondaira Ropeway, which was very helpful. Thank you very much. If I may add a wish, having a large public bath with a view of Mount Fuji would create the ultimate scenic masterpiece. Thank you again!

    Japanese Cuisine

    The special Japanese meal was delicious, but since a reservation is required one week in advance, it was disappointing that we couldn't change the reservation to French cuisine at the last minute. Mount Fuji was amazing.

    It was a wonderful h...

    It was a wonderful hotel. The staff were very kind and excellent. Although Mount Fuji was not perfectly clear, we could see it. If I may say, having an Onsen would have been nice, but staying with such a fantastic view made it the best trip ever.

    A Disappointing Golden Week

    We visit every year during Golden Week. We arrived late, around 7 PM. There was no welcome, and the front desk felt empty. The Room was as satisfying as always. Was the chair new this year? It was quite nice. Breakfast was disappointing. We were a group of four but were guided to a small table, while two people were seated at a spacious table nearby that had just been cleared. Should we have mentioned it to the staff? The small table made it inconvenient even to bring coffee over—what's the point of having coffee cups on the table then? Also, it seemed like there were fewer food options than before. Breakfast is one of our highlights here, so this was unfortunate; though I must say, the food itself tasted good. Additionally, there was noticeable dust on the mountain-side bay windows in the hallway near our Room and even on the ceiling inside the elevator. This year, we felt that service quality had significantly declined in many aspects—it’s truly disappointing.

    Stunning View!!!

    With both the sea and mountains nearby, clouds and mist appeared frequently, creating breathtaking views with every change. We truly enjoyed the magnificent scenery!

    Why didn't I know about this before?

    I never imagined this Hotel would be so wonderful. I regret not having stayed here earlier in my life. Although the weather was unfortunate and I couldn't see Mount Fuji, it made me appreciate how amazing Shizuoka truly is.

    The scenery is breathtaking.

    I took a shuttle bus from Shizuoka Station to the Hotel. As soon as I entered the entrance, I was greeted by a breathtaking view. The high atrium with wide glass walls revealed an expansive green lawn and Suruga Bay beyond. I couldn't help but exclaim in awe. Although the cloudy weather prevented me from seeing Mount Fuji, my excitement soared. After leaving my luggage, I visited Yume Terrace near the Hotel and took a ropeway to finally visit Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, which I'd always wanted to see. Dinner at the Hotel was a full-course meal that was absolutely delicious. What made it even more special was enjoying it on the terrace while taking in that stunning view—it felt like a dream throughout. The next morning, instead of opting for a buffet, I chose Japanese cuisine, which turned out to be perfect with its light flavors—just what my slightly heavy stomach needed after dinner. And this time, Mount Fuji came into view! I'm so happy to have found such an amazing Hotel that makes me want to return again!

    Used for parents' 60th wedding anniversary.

    We stayed as a family (two rooms) to celebrate our parents' diamond wedding anniversary. The day before, when we contacted the Hotel, they kindly arranged our rooms on the same floor and lent us glasses for a celebratory toast, showing great attention to detail. Additionally, they provided a dessert plate with a commemorative message during dinner, which made our parents very happy. Thank you so much for your thoughtful hospitality. Since the service was perfect as described above, I would like to comment on one area for improvement: enhancing customer service during Shuttle Service. For elderly couples alone, carrying luggage to their room can be challenging; offering assistance such as lending wagons would make senior guests even happier. Although it seemed busy with many visitors at the time of check-in and check-out, we received excellent service overall and are truly grateful!

    We had a wonderful stay. It was a trip for three seniors after a long time, and the staff's hospitality was excellent, including transportation to and from Kunozan Toshogu Shrine and their thoughtful care during breakfast and dinner.

    It was a Hotel I would like to visit again.

    The room on the Mt. Fuji side was very beautiful. The interior of the Room is spacious and clean. I really appreciated the refrigerator amenities. The view from the window is absolutely stunning. It feels like a waste to sleep, and I would love to stay again.

    The Hotel has an amazing atmosphere.

    The bus ride from the station to the Hotel isn’t very long, and the zoo is a lot of fun—this is a wonderful Hotel. This was my fourth stay since my first visit for an event, but I wish only the meals were a bit higher quality.

    My previous stay was...

    My previous stay was excellent, so I decided to stay for the second time. Last time, I only had breakfast, which was very delicious, so this time I also had dinner at the hotel. It was very tasty and satisfying. The service, including customer care, was as great as ever. It was unfortunate that the weather was bad and I couldn't see Mount Fuji.

    Customer service is excellent.

    During the cherry blossom season, the parking lot at the observatory was full. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and asked if we could leave our car in the parking lot to visit the observatory. The staff kindly offered Shuttle Service without hesitation, which made us feel great from that moment on. From check-in to check-out (including dinner, breakfast, and excellent service), everything was perfect. All staff provided outstanding hospitality. Unfortunately, due to unfavorable weather conditions, we couldn't see a full view of Mt. Fuji this time. We would love to stay at this Hotel again for another chance! Thank you very much!

    A Hotel Where You Can Relax and Unwind

    This was my second stay at the accommodation. The relaxing environment is very comfortable. The meals are reasonably priced, so for this two-night stay, I chose no meals included for one night. Prior to my arrival, I received a call from the hotel asking me to specify my exact arrival time so they could prepare the room accordingly. However, as I mentioned that my plans depended on the weather and sightseeing schedule, I found their request and wording somewhat questionable since check-in is allowed from 2:00 PM.

    The view is spectacular.

    It was wonderful to visit during the cherry blossom season. The scenery is absolutely stunning. The meals were delicious, but the view of Mt. Fuji from the Room and the garden scenery during a stroll were even more impressive. The amenities are quite standard, but everything necessary was provided. The Room was also impeccably clean.

    First Visit to Nihondaira

    I wanted to see Mount Fuji... and if possible, stay at the admired Nihondaira Hotel. It was my wife's birthday, the weather was perfect, and everything was well-prepared, but due to yellow dust and haze, I couldn't see Mount Fuji. The Hotel's environment and staff service left a great impression. This means I must come back again!

    A Peaceful Holiday

    It was my first trip to Shizuoka, and of course, my first stay at this accommodation. The breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji from the room left me speechless. From evening to sunrise, I was deeply moved by its beauty. The chef's dishes were incredibly delicious as well... Thanks to all the staff, I had a peaceful and relaxing time.     Stunning views

    Amazing! The view is absolutely stunning. You can see Mount Fuji in its full glory right in front of you, with Shimizu Port stretching out below. Clouds drift slowly, large ships move gracefully, and time seems to pass at a leisurely pace. When the sun sets, the night view is breathtaking. Truly, the scenery was a feast for the eyes. I had a Japanese-style breakfast which was incredibly delicious—especially the rice, so good that I couldn't resist having seconds. I would love to stay here again!

    Perfect for viewing Mount Fuji.

    The view of Mount Fuji was the best I've ever seen. I am grateful for the hotel's excellent location. The shuttle service to the ropeway made my visit very comfortable. Both the guest room and facilities were well-maintained and clean. For dinner, I chose a Chinese cuisine plan, which I had reserved in advance. The appetizers, steamed egg custard, shrimp chili, and dessert were delicious; however, it was unfortunate that the main dish and fried rice were overly salty to the point of being unpleasant.

    A Trip for Women

    We chose to stay during the season when the snow-covered Mt. Fuji is most visible and fully enjoyed the expected scenery. Unexpectedly, the plum blossoms in the garden were also beautifully in bloom, which was a lucky bonus. We hope to visit again someday during cherry blossom season. The room's glass was so impeccably polished that we almost didn’t notice it was there—it made us want to learn their cleaning technique! Thanks to this, we thoroughly enjoyed breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji, Miho no Matsubara, and Shimizu Port directly from our room. The bath, with its stone floors and walls (we assume), was clean and very comfortable to use. Of course, the meals were delicious as well; breakfast included sakura shrimp and shirasu fish. Everything—including the staff—was perfect and left us completely satisfied. Thank you very much!

    A true landscape museum

    This was my second stay. During my previous visit, the sky was cloudy, so I couldn't see Mount Fuji clearly, but the stunning scenery still brought me peace. This time, with perfect weather, the view was like stepping into a postcard—I couldn't take my eyes off it. The dinner course was not only delicious but also sophisticated and perfectly matched the image of the Hotel. After checking out, I visited the Upper Lounge and enjoyed high-quality Chinese cuisine and desserts, making this stay thoroughly satisfying from start to finish.

    The view was amazing.

    I stayed for a 1-night, 2-day trip to Mount Fuji. On the first day, clouds covered the summit, which was disappointing, but the next morning I woke up before dawn to an incredible view right from my bed! The garden had some cherry blossoms blooming, which I enjoyed together with Mount Fuji. The view of Mount Fuji on a clear day is absolutely breathtaking! The Hotel is located on a hill in Nihondaira with no restaurants nearby. If it's rainy or cloudy and you can't see the mountain, you might feel it's not worth the cost. However, since weather can't be controlled, I believe this Hotel is worth staying at while hoping for clear skies.

    Zutto Mt. Fuji

    Thank you for allowing us to store our luggage before check-in and providing shuttle service to the Yume Terrace Ropeway! The view from the property is more spectacular than from Yume Terrace. A late lunch while viewing snow-capped Mt. Fuji over the teppanyaki counter, the evening view from the upper lounge, and the breakfast buffet made it a memorable property for dining as well!

    We were able to enjoy the view of Mount Fuji.

    As expected, I was very satisfied with the view of Mt. Fuji through the spacious window from the Room. I could enjoy it even while lying in bed. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a French dinner, and I was relieved that my wife was pleased. I would like to visit again with my family.

    The meals from check-in were good. However, it was disappointing that Mount Fuji could not be seen from the Room.
