    First stay in about two years

    The quality was almost the same as my previous stay, and I was satisfied.\nI could also see Mt. Fuji clearly and sharply, and the window glass was cleaned well, making my stay comfortable.\nHowever, at breakfast, the person grilling fish in front of guests (not sure if they were a chef) took quite a while to finish, but when handing it over there was no “Sorry to keep you waiting,” and it was given to me with an attitude like “Here.”\nBecause of one person’s behavior, everything could be ruined. No matter how hard the other floor staff or chefs work, it could still leave a bad impression.\nPerhaps this shows how difficult customer service can be.\nThank you for taking care of me for one night and two days.

    I’m glad I stayed again.

    This was our second stay, as we also stayed last year. We were very satisfied with both the Room and the meals. Stepping into the garden reveals a view that makes you want to take a deep breath. Dinner at the garden lounge was soothing, with beautiful night views. As it was cherry blossom season, the cherry trees in the parking area and around the garden were stunning. Recommended as an Accommodation for a “relaxing” trip rather than a tightly scheduled one.

    The weather was terrible, but the Hotel was excellent.

    It was disappointing that the Mt. Fuji we were looking forward to was hidden by clouds, but the 180-degree view was wonderful. We could see the mountains in the foreground, and the townscape and harbor were faintly visible through a light haze—it was quite a sight. Still, why was the main attraction hidden by clouds? I hope to see it again someday. The meals, Facility, and service from the staff were as expected. As for the Facility, the only issues were that the shower slider didn’t work smoothly and there was only a brush among the amenities—no comb. I gave an overall rating of 4 solely because of the weather. No hard feelings.

    Beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.

    Although we stayed for only one night, we were blessed with great weather and were truly moved by the stunning views of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay. The night view was also beautiful. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive and courteous. Thank you very much.

    While enjoying views of Mount Fuji

    This is a Hotel I’d been interested in for a long time. The views and the building were even better than expected. The building feels far superior to Hotels built in Tokyo in recent years that charge over ¥100,000 per night. I also enjoyed the tasteful interior decorations throughout the property. As for dining, breakfast had fewer options than I expected, and the taste was just okay. I also had afternoon tea, but we waited for an hour, and even though seats were available, we weren’t shown to a table for quite some time. I understand it may be difficult, but it would be greatly appreciated if guests staying at the Accommodation could be given priority seating. It seemed like only two staff members were handling service, so it felt understaffed. The taste here was also just okay. It looks like there are other options as well, such as a restaurant serving Chinese-style light meals and a teppanyaki restaurant, so next time I stay, I’d like to try those instead.

    Long time no see.

    This was my first time staying at this Hotel. While many places promote sustainability and have switched to more self-service, it was nice to find that the amenities were properly stocked in the Room—it felt refreshing. The towels were fluffy, and having two bath towels provided per person made me very happy. I did wish there had been an Onsen, but the well-kept bathroom in the Room was still relaxing. If I have another chance to visit, I may choose a plan with meals next time. I would have liked a wider selection of souvenirs in the shop.

    It was a bit disappointing.

    I had always wanted to stay at Nippondaira Hotel, but the Facilities felt outdated and left me underwhelmed. The most disappointing point was that there is no hot bath Facility. I knew in advance that there wasn’t one, but I expected the Room bath to make up for it—however, it was combined with the toilet. I was very disappointed and won’t be returning.

    Enjoy stunning views of Mt. Fuji.

    [Location] An excellent location with views of Mt. Fuji. Among the various Accommodations I’ve stayed at with Mt. Fuji views, this one is a bit farther away, but that actually made it feel even more majestic. [Facility / Guest Rooms / Amenities] Both the Facility overall and the guest room were very well maintained and spotless. The amenities are also well stocked. It would be perfect if you could provide samue-style loungewear or in-house clothing that guests can wear around the Hotel, but that might not fit the Hotel’s policy, so it may be difficult. [Dining] Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I’ve often been staying at Japanese-style Ryokan recently, but I really enjoyed the French cuisine as well. The staff also checked on drinks as soon as our glasses were empty, and we were very satisfied. [Service] We were satisfied with both the hospitality and service. The plating was also beautifully presented. [Overall Satisfaction] The first day was a bit disappointing, but on the second day we could see Mt. Fuji and were very satisfied. Lately I’ve been staying only at places with an Onsen, but this Accommodation provided bath salts and we still enjoyed a relaxing bath 충분ly. I’d love to visit again. Next time, I’d like to make a Reservation for a suite where you can see Mt. Fuji from the bath.

    Very satisfied.

    We stayed here for a family trip. Since we don’t usually go out together, it was a truly precious time. We were also very satisfied with the teppanyaki restaurant “Yuiyu,” where we enjoyed a special experience and cuisine that we don’t often get to have. The night view was wonderful, and the scenery when we woke up in the morning was especially beautiful—it felt amazing. Although it was a bit cloudy, just being able to see that view made the trip well worth it.

    Spectacular Views

    The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was breathtaking. We were lucky to have great weather and could see a magnificent Mt. Fuji. For dinner, we made a Reservation for seating only. It was great to be able to choose what we wanted ourselves. Breakfast was also delicious. We would definitely like to stay again.

    Relax and unwind, body and mind.

    I had been wanting to stay at Nippondaira Hotel for a long time. Seeing Mt. Fuji through the large window from my Room was truly breathtaking. I never got tired of the view—it was the perfect location. I enjoyed a relaxing hotel stay with friends and felt refreshed both physically and mentally. All the staff were warm and attentive, and the meals featured seasonal ingredients that delighted both the eyes and the palate. I was very satisfied. I would love to visit again.

    Completely satisfied with everything.

    Because we live nearby, it was an option we had been putting off, but this time I chose it to show my gratitude to my mother. The view from the Room was amazing, with Mt. Fuji right in front of us! We were also very satisfied with the meals and the staff’s hospitality. I would definitely like to visit again.

    I’ve stayed here several times before, but this time I was a bit disappointed.

    Even though I booked more than two months in advance, I was not assigned a Room on the Mt. Fuji side, which was a bit disappointing. In addition, despite it being a weekday, the hotel was fully booked and the staff support felt insufficient. At check-in, the explanation was kept to the bare minimum; even when asked, “Do you have any other questions?”, nothing came to mind on the spot, so I just went to my Room. Since I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji from my Room, I decided to at least enjoy the meal and upgraded to filet steak, but it didn’t feel particularly special. When I asked, “Where is this beef from?”, they hurriedly replied only that it was “fresh meat from Hokkaido” and then walked away. Overall, everything felt slightly lower in quality than before. I will likely visit again, but please ensure that staff training is improved so that guests receive the pleasant service you used to provide and this does not happen again.

    Overall, I was very satisfied. Given the spectacular views, it would be wonderful to have a large public bath with a view of Mt. Fuji. The room was nice, but I wasn’t quite sure what the bed cushions were for. I’d be happy if there were pillow options, such as buckwheat-husk pillows or other breathable types. It would be even better if more attention were given to the amenities.

    I got to see Mt. Fuji again this year.

    Last year, I was captivated by the beauty of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay as seen from Nippondaira Hotel, so I stayed again this year. Fortunately, I was able to see a magnificent Mt. Fuji again and was truly thrilled. The shuttle bus from Shizuoka Station is also very convenient. The service struck just the right balance and made my stay very comfortable. The Room was clean, and the amenities were well stocked. For dinner, I chose the teppanyaki course, and it was absolutely delicious—I enjoyed a truly luxurious time. This is a one-of-a-kind Hotel that moves me every time I visit.

    The night view was wonderful.

    I stayed here hoping to see Mt. Fuji. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and I couldn’t see it even once, but this was such a wonderful Hotel that it didn’t matter at all. In particular, the night view from the Room was amazing. I arrived at night, and the moment I walked in and saw the view through the window, I couldn’t help but say “Wow!” out loud. All of the staff were very kind, and one woman at the bar kindly lent me binoculars when she noticed me gazing absentmindedly at the view, saying that since the fog had cleared, I should take a look. I truly appreciated her thoughtfulness. Thank you very much. The cleaning was also impeccable—from every corner of the Room to the outdoor terrace—and that really impressed me as well. Of all the Accommodations I’ve stayed at so far, this one stands out by far for its spotless cleanliness and perfectly clear windows. I will definitely stay again to see Mt. Fuji.

    Even in the most unobtrusive details, I could feel a true spirit of exceptional hospitality.

    I checked in at night, and the next day it rained, so I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji from Nihon-daira Hotel as I had hoped. However, I felt the Hotel’s fundamentals were very well done. First, the heating and air-conditioning (including humidification) seemed to use the latest equipment. We stayed for one night during a period of severe cold with snow two days earlier, but as soon as we entered the Hotel… it wasn’t cold, and it also wasn’t that unpleasantly dry heat… which was a real relief. The TWG tea and even the toothbrush (they are often disappointing, so I usually bring my own) were similar in shape to what I brought but made it easier to brush all the way to the back teeth… and more—overall, I was very satisfied with the high quality of this Hotel. If they sold that toothbrush in the shop, I would have bought it. They did have TWG products, though. Of course, I wished we could have seen Mt. Fuji too… but our takeaway was: “Well, we saw Mt. Fuji during our trip anyway.” It also made us reflect on our daily lives—how a place can truly show its value in what’s not immediately visible.

    Magnificent views of Mt. Fuji.

    I’ve stayed here many times, and the staff are always kind and wonderful. We went strawberry picking at a nearby farm—Shizuoka Ishigaki strawberries—and the Benihoppe variety was especially delicious this season. The sushi counter was also excellent, and as always, it’s a truly wonderful Hotel. Above all, seeing Mt. Fuji in winter was amazing. Thank you very much—we’ll be back again.

    Blissful Moments

    This time, I chose Nippondaira Hotel as a special reward trip to unwind after a year of hard work. The breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji from the impeccably clean Room, the outstanding French cuisine at The Terrace, pleasant walks around the property, excellent service, and a 12:00 checkout time—everything is thoughtfully designed for guests. With Shuttle Service by shuttle bus from Shizuoka Station as well, it’s the perfect Hotel for an extraordinary getaway.

    Annual Mount Fuji Viewing

    For the past three years, I have stayed at Nihondaira Hotel during winter to enjoy the view of Mount Fuji. The view of Mount Fuji from the room's balcony is stunning, and I find myself losing track of time while gazing at it. The room is clean and has a calm atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, and choosing between waffles and pancakes or selecting ingredients for an omelet is always something I look forward to. For dinner, I absolutely love the Sakura Shrimp and Shirasu Pasta in the main dining area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

    We enjoyed a beautiful view of Mount Fuji this time.

    This is the best Hotel to enjoy views of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay. The weather can be unpredictable, but this time we were lucky to see a stunningly beautiful view. The food at the restaurant was delicious. I always make sure to have the fresh tomato juice in the morning.

    Last time, clouds blocked the view of Mt. Fuji, but this time we were able to enjoy the stunning scenery under clear skies. Mt. Fuji as seen from Miho no Matsubara was also amazing.

    The view of Mount Fuji right in front was breathtaking. Dinner was a full-course meal with various creative touches, and the dishes were delicious. The Hotel provided a shuttle service to the Kunozan Toshogu Ropeway, offering exceptional hospitality. The amenities were also wonderful.

    Girls' Trip

    The view that unfolded right in front of me as I entered the entrance was breathtaking. It was especially wonderful because Mount Fuji was unusually clear that day. The Room was clean, and it was an absolute luxury to enjoy the stunning view of Mount Fuji while lying in bed.

    I was impressed by the view when I went for lunch during work and decided to make a reservation to show it to my wife. It’s a popular hotel that is hard to book, but I was lucky enough to secure a reservation on the first day of a three-day weekend. The view of Mt.     Moved by the Scenic Art Museum

    Enjoy Mount Fuji

    The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was amazed by the breathtaking view! From the Room, I could also enjoy the ever-changing scenery of Mount Fuji.
