    A wonderful Hotel.

    I visited for the first time using the Shuttle Service from Shizuoka Station. This Hotel, located in Nihondaira, offers stunning views. The Room and meals were excellent, and I especially noticed the superior quality of the ingredients used in the meals. Although it was just a one-night stay, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. While a large public bath would have been a nice addition, I still felt an exceptional level of satisfaction overall.

    The scenery, cuisine, and service were all excellent.

    I visited with friends for a New Year trip. The scenery was stunning both day and night, and the staff's warm smiles and hospitality made our stay very pleasant. Thank you! The food was diverse and absolutely delicious. I would love to visit again!

    Regarding the parking lot lights

    Wake up to a stunning view of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay. A must-visit for travelers from other regions. This is a wonderful Hotel. As a local resident, I have visited several times seeking relaxation. This time, I arrived after sunset following work, but the lack of lighting in the parking area made parking very inconvenient and unpleasant. We kindly request prompt action on this matter.

    Magnificent Mount Fuji

    I visited again to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji. Last time was in summer, but the winter scenery of Mt. Fuji was also breathtaking. The dishes at Fukian were all excellent, and the sea urchin with salmon roe was truly impressive. I would love to visit again with friends or family. Thank you very much!

    Overall satisfied

    It rained on both the arrival and departure days, so we couldn't see Mount Fuji. However, the view right in front of us was still exceptional. The room and facilities were excellent. I was truly impressed that the large windows were spotless. If I may point out minor details, I wondered why the hallway felt a bit cold or wished there had been an espresso machine in the room. This was my third stay, and while I've enjoyed Western and Japanese cuisine for dinner before, this time I could choose Chinese cuisine. I found it incredibly delicious. Of course, tastes vary from person to person, but it suited me perfectly, which is why I'm writing this review to express my gratitude as well. Not only was the food amazing, but at both the beginning and end of the course meal, we received personal greetings from the chef himself. It seems they only serve one group per day for this experience, so it's likely that every dish is prepared by him personally. In a private room with a stunning night view spread out before us, I am deeply grateful for being able to enjoy such a luxurious experience as an ordinary citizen. I'll definitely visit again—and if there's another Chinese plan available next time—I won't hesitate to choose it!

    Great view of Mount Fuji

    You can enjoy a great view of Mt. Fuji from the Room and everywhere else, which lifts your spirits. I thoroughly enjoyed it from daytime until sunset. What surprised me was the variety in the select shop, where I bought baby items and a bag for myself to take home.

    Impression

    The hotel offered stunning views. The service, meals, building, and garden were all excellent. What impressed me the most was the free Shuttle Service to and from Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. I truly felt genuine hospitality.

    This is the second time.

    Last time, we stayed as a family to show my nephew and niece Mount Fuji, but unfortunately, it was completely obscured by fog. However, the hotel's food was delicious, the staff who brought a cake for my niece's birthday party in the room were very kind, and the room was clean—leaving us with only good memories. This time, we stayed for a second visit to see Mount Fuji again. The weather was perfect, and we could see Mount Fuji clearly throughout our stay. This trip was all about enjoying the majestic view of Mount Fuji. Simply relaxing in the room while admiring the scenery made it worthwhile. Coincidentally today, I attended a seminar by the architect of Espacio Nagoya Castle in Nagoya and discovered that they also designed Nihondaira Hotel! I was surprised because their styles are so different. I would love to visit Nihondaira Hotel again. Next time, I’d like to try their afternoon tea as well!

    This was my third visit, and I always look forward to staying here. On the day of my stay, I was blessed with clear skies and enjoyed the snow-covered Mount Fuji.     The Room always feel...

    The Room always feels meticulously prepared. This time, the meal was at a sushi restaurant, with just the right portion size, allowing for a very pleasant and delicious experience.

    This is my fifth stay.

    It was raining upon arrival, but thanks to the rain, Mount Fuji's summit was covered in snow the next day, and we were able to enjoy a stunning view of Mount Fuji under a clear sky from the morning. This was our fifth stay with my mother who uses a wheelchair. The accommodation is well-equipped for accessibility, though it would be even better if there were rooms with reclining beds available. Dinner at Fukian is always exceptional, and this time we were also delighted to have breakfast there as well. We appreciated the shuttle service to Yume Terrace and the step provided for my mother to get into the car. The kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff made us forget about the challenges of traveling with disabilities, giving us motivation to visit again. This is truly an accommodation worth repeating!

    Beautiful scenery and delicious cuisine

    This is my second stay. The garden and Mount Fuji seen through the large windows are like a painting. The view is mesmerizing, and I enjoyed a slow, relaxing time. I also thoroughly enjoyed the meals at a leisurely pace. It was a quiet and calming experience, perfect for when you're feeling tired. I would love to visit this accommodation again.

    The view was breathtaking.

    I stayed for one night after hearing from a friend about the amazing views, and the scenery truly was spectacular with great weather. However, the only available room was a standard one, which I didn't check thoroughly beforehand—it wasn't on the Mount Fuji side and felt more like a business hotel. The unit bath was disappointing; with such stunning views, I wished there had been a large public bath. The windows couldn't be opened, and although there was an air purifier, its humidifying function was noisy so I turned it off, leading to dryness that caused me to cough slightly at night. Dinner at the teppanyaki restaurant in the annex building was absolutely fantastic—the chef and dishes were exceptional. I've visited many famous teppanyaki restaurants in Tokyo, but this one is on par with them. On the other hand, breakfast buffet was just okay. While dining in that atmosphere felt pleasant, there weren't many options available. The miso soup with root vegetables seemed overcooked—perhaps leftovers from the previous day? The massage service stood out as excellent; both the therapist's skills and professionalism were impressive. As for reception staff and others—they were neither particularly friendly nor unfriendly but rather neutral. I would love to return for another stay—this time opting for a Mount Fuji view room—and enjoy both teppanyaki dinner and massage again!

    The view is absolutely stunning, with Mount Fuji visible from anywhere. Fortunately, the weather was clear, allowing us to fully enjoy the majestic sight of Mount Fuji. However, it was a bit disappointing to find the table legs in the upper lounge covered in dust. This stood out even more because the Room itself was impeccably clean. Since staff members are usually standing while working, they may not notice what customers see from their seated perspective. We recommend sitting down and observing areas like under tables to ensure cleanliness at all levels.

    Stunning view.

    I stayed at the accommodation I had been curious about for a long time, and it exceeded my expectations. I had a pleasant stay throughout. The room was clean, with sparkling large windows and balcony glass. I was impressed by the meticulous cleaning in every corner. Although I couldn't see Mt. Fuji due to the weather, I would love to visit again in a better season. The view, room, meals, and staff service were all excellent. I will definitely choose this accommodation again when visiting Shizuoka!

    Highly satisfied.

    As you open the door and enter the room, Mount Fuji is right in front of you! The location was absolutely stunning. The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Although there was no Onsen, it was a bit disappointing, we could rent a foot bath for free. We enjoyed soaking our feet on the terrace while gazing at Mount Fuji endlessly. It was such a luxurious experience. With a checkout time of 12 PM, we were able to relax and take our time fully.

    It was wonderful.

    It was a three-generation trip with grandparents and grandchildren. The service, facility, and cuisine were all excellent. The view of Mt. Fuji over the lawn garden was so beautiful it felt like a dream. The Superior Japanese-style room was comfortable even with an infant. We also appreciated the celebratory welcome fruits, which our family enjoyed together. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    Excellent

    I had a preconceived notion that Nihondaira Hotel, which I’ve heard about for years, might be an old Facility, but to my surprise, it was incredibly modern and stylish. The lobby, garden, restaurant, Room, and balcony—all areas exude a wonderful atmosphere. Although there is no large public bath (4 stars for the bath), the bathroom in the Fuji-view Room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see Mount Fuji upon arrival; however, the garden lawn was beautifully maintained and the night view of Shimizu Port was stunning. The next morning when we opened the curtains, Mount Fuji came into view. All staff members were kind and attentive—this trip was a memorable one with my 85-year-old mother thanks to their thoughtful care. Thank you very much!

    Stunning views.

    The facility, cuisine, and service were all excellent. Although it was a cold rainy day during our stay and we couldn't see Mount Fuji at all, we were very lucky to witness its first snowfall the next day with a beautiful snow-covered view. The highly anticipated Japanese gourmet dinner course was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed pairing it with Shizuoka's local sake. The breakfast buffet also offered great variety and taste. If I may make one suggestion, having indoor wear like samue in addition to pajamas might allow for more relaxation in the room. Overall, it is an excellent hotel, and I look forward to visiting again when I have the chance. Thank you for your hospitality!

    A Wonderful and Relaxing Holiday

    I always choose and stay at Nihondaira Hotel without hesitation. This time, it was a one-night stay as a Multiple Night Stay was not possible, but I had a relaxing time. I look forward to my next visit.

    2-night stay for a family trip

    Two years ago, my daughter stayed with her friend at this accommodation. She kept telling me how great it was and how she wanted to go back, and finally, we were able to stay as a family for two nights this time. The first day was rainy with heavy fog. Since the weather wasn't great, we enjoyed one of our goals—afternoon tea. The second day was cloudy. I worried that we might leave without seeing Mt. Fuji... but on the final day, we were finally able to see it! Although it wasn’t perfectly clear weather, the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji from our room was breathtaking. It truly lived up to its reputation as a "landscape art museum." I had been looking forward to breakfast, and it exceeded my expectations—it was absolutely delicious! The accommodation was spotless and very quiet throughout the facility, making it an ideal environment for a relaxing stay. We would love to visit again in the future!

    Unfortunately, I couldn't see Mount Fuji, but I definitely want to visit again!

    A hotel I had always wanted to stay at, combined with sightseeing at Miho no Matsubara and Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, and I couldn't see Mt. Fuji, but I definitely want to stay here again! Starting with the chic and luxurious lobby space, the guest room was also very comfortable for relaxing. Although it is not an Onsen, the bath was spacious and satisfying. Dinner was a Japanese course meal—absolutely delicious! (Especially the sashimi including sea urchin and tuna, Shizuoka beef steak on a hot plate, sushi, and dessert to finish). The breakfast buffet was also flawless in taste (the curry and carrot bread were particularly memorable). Although I couldn't see Mt. Fuji during my two-day stay, after checking out, the ink-painting-like scenery seen from the lobby had its own charm. The service at every location including the lobby restaurant was pleasant throughout. As a side note: The tuna bought as a souvenir from Kashi no Ichi Market in Shimizu Port (for home) was exquisite as well—highly recommended!

    All good.

    This was my second stay, and I stayed for two nights. Unfortunately, I couldn't see Mt. Fuji this time due to the rain. However, everything including the view, food, and staff was excellent. I made a reservation for sushi lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the chef and the dishes were very satisfying. I will definitely visit again!

    Best Value Accommodation

    The staff at the Hotel were absolutely wonderful. Honestly, the price was more affordable compared to the hotels I usually stay at, but the service was better than any luxury hotel I've experienced. The view from the window was breathtaking. Although only a small part of Mount Fuji's peak was visible, even without it, the expansive lawn and cityscape below were satisfying enough. I will definitely visit again. If there's one thing that could be improved, it's that with the Plan including one drink at the upper lounge, you could only choose from a set menu. If this had been clearly stated in advance in the Plan details, I would have opted for a standard Plan and ordered my preferred drink at the lounge instead. For those considering this Plan, please take note of this detail. Other than that, everything was perfect!

    I often use this place for birthdays, and the staff's courteous friendliness is very pleasant. Thanks to the staff who assisted us this time, it became a wonderful anniversary. Thank you very much. This time, I could only catch a small glimpse of Mt. Fuji, but even without seeing Mt. Fuji, the view from the Room at any time of day or night is breathtaking (especially the night view is spectacular).

    It was a Hotel with a wonderful view.

    I stayed at the Nihondaira Twin, and the view and night scenery were exactly as shown in the photos. The Shuttle Service to Kunozan and Nihondaira Terrace was very helpful each time. With fewer guest rooms for the size of the Hotel, I could enjoy a relaxed and leisurely breakfast, which was great. Everything about this Hotel felt spacious and comfortable—it was truly wonderful.

    No repeat visits expected.

    The view is amazing. Although it was cloudy and Mount Fuji was not visible, the scenery was still breathtaking. However, I reserved a Japanese-style room, but there was an ammonia-like smell that made it quite unpleasant. The tatami mats were frayed and lacked cleanliness. Amenities were disappointing: - No welcome drink - No tea snacks in the room For a hotel costing over 70,000 yen for two people, this was a first for me. The worst part was the dinner at the Japanese restaurant. We were rushed throughout the meal; they even asked to take away untouched dishes from our appetizer platter. When I requested some time before serving rice and soup, someone came back within five minutes asking if they could serve it already. I felt pressured to eat quickly and finished in a hurry. The taste of the food wasn’t great either. It’s been a while since I felt like I made such a poor choice in accommodation selection.
