    Please come again!!

    I have been using this accommodation for nearly 10 years whenever I want to relax and refresh on my days off. Not only is the stay itself enjoyable, but I also love the first-floor restaurant "Loop," where you can enjoy barbecue in summer and seasonal buffet dishes, as well as the charming main bar "Forceful," which I've visited several times. The bar operates from 12:00 PM, and I highly recommend their afternoon tea featuring delicate and high-quality sweets, savory items, and a variety of teas! When I visited for an afternoon tea gathering with friends before, it was so comfortable that we enjoyed a luxurious tea time from around 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM while chatting away—an experience that left me completely satisfied. This time, during my stay over a long weekend when I wanted to relax nearby without traveling far, I chose a slightly more spacious room than usual to unwind. In the evening, I visited the main bar "Forceful" again after some time and had an incredibly happy moment enjoying delicious drinks at its impressive counter seats. Looking back now, one of the reasons why I've grown fond of this hotel is undoubtedly due to the warm personalities of the staff at this bar—a feeling reaffirmed during this visit. The comfort of them remembering my favorite cocktail from years ago is truly special. Having such a wonderful bar locally makes me feel proud. While not equipped with state-of-the-art facilities throughout, this hotel has been renovated periodically; its clean rooms are always comfortable for relaxing stays. Additionally, there’s a Chinese restaurant called "Ryuhou" on the second floor known for serving authentic Chinese cuisine often used by companies for meetings or gatherings—it has an excellent reputation! I'm looking forward to visiting it next time. I believe that having long-time fans like myself who appreciate more than just staying here is thanks to all staff members' continuous efforts in providing heartfelt hospitality every day. This is undoubtedly an exceptional accommodation that makes you think “I’ll definitely come back!”

    Stay in a high-floor executive accommodation

    This was my third stay, but perhaps due to staff shortages, the executive lounge was unavailable, and the free drinks in the refrigerator were reduced. One bottle of water per person is provided for free, but additional bottles cost 200 yen each (at other hotels with executive stays, unlimited bottles were free). On the last day, when I went for breakfast, I was surprised to see a group of about 100 Korean students lined up. That day I had plenty of time as it was just a travel day back home, but on other days with scheduled plans, it would have been difficult to manage. Usually, group guests are guided to banquet halls or assigned specific time slots; alternatively, prior notice about crowding would have been appreciated. The building is old but well-maintained and clean. Amenities were plentiful. With many inbound travelers visiting due to the Expo and its direct connection to the station, this hotel offers unmatched convenience. I would like to stay here again!

    This is my favorite Hotel.

    Several years ago, we frequently stayed at the RIHGA Royal Hotel. It was our go-to accommodation whenever we wanted to relax as a family, celebrate special occasions, or visit Osaka. The rooms were spacious, the restaurants were excellent, and the environment was pleasant. Above all, it offered great access to shopping and dining options. With a doorman present and reasonable pricing, it felt like a younger sibling of RIHGA Royal Nakanoshima. After becoming Agora Hotel, the accommodation prices increased significantly, so we visited less often. However, recently I stayed there again with my children after a long time away. It felt like returning home for our entire family—we were overjoyed with nostalgia and had an amazing time. I would love to stay here again as before. One thing I appreciate is that the bar is open during daytime hours now; however, I miss the Sky Lounge along with its sushi bar and teppanyaki restaurant—they are no longer available but would be wonderful if brought back! Additionally, there seem to be limited breakfast options on-site; perhaps collaborating with external restaurants within the premises could help address this issue. We will definitely visit again soon!

    I’ll use it again.

    The meals offer a wide variety of dishes. Everything was delicious. Excellent value for money. Each dish is carefully prepared with extra attention to detail. We were very satisfied.

    Second Stay

    We had such a great experience last time that we decided to stay for two nights this time. On the second night, we enjoyed the dinner buffet, and the freshly fried tempura was crispy and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised and happy when the female chef preparing the tempura remembered our previous visit. Both times, we stayed in a city view room, so next time we'd love to try a bayside view room. My husband and I are already talking about visiting again soon!

    Highly Satisfied

    The hotel offers excellent value for money. The room was clean and well-maintained. The lounge service was great, and the hors d'oeuvres and cakes were delicious, so we decided to have dinner at the buffet there as well—it was indeed very tasty. Guests received a 1,000 yen discount, which made it even more worthwhile. Breakfast was also delicious, but we were surprised by the large number of inbound guests. Unfortunately, some incidents like fruits being put back after falling on the floor or bread being taken with bare hands (not related to the hotel) were a bit disappointing. We couldn't relax in the morning due to other commitments but talked about wanting to visit again with my husband. We found a good deal and immediately made a reservation for a three-day, two-night stay!

    Close to the station

    Close to the station. A bit old but a good Hotel. There are almost no tourist spots nearby, but it's affordable, so I often use it. Thank you for your continued support!

    Partially eaten?

    This time, I stayed in an Executive Room to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The front desk staff provided pleasant service, and the restaurant staff were all very friendly. I had a comfortable night's sleep. However, when I woke up in the morning and went to the bathroom, the bathroom light was out. It flickered briefly but then went off again, so on the second day, I had to brush my teeth and use the toilet in dim lighting. This was a bit disappointing. Additionally, there were snacks provided in the room; however, one of them—a can of Pringles—had already been opened and partially eaten by what seemed to be a previous guest. Since I planned to eat it during my car ride later on, I didn’t notice this while staying at the hotel. This was quite unpleasant and disappointing as I'm a big fan of Pringles! Please ensure that housekeeping checks these details more thoroughly. Everyone's service was excellent overall, which makes these issues even more unfortunate. That said, I did have a relaxing stay and would like to visit again!

    I want to stay again, but...

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of 2 nights. The staff's service was excellent. However, since my Reservation was made as separate one-night bookings, I was told to check out once the next morning. While I understand that prior notice might have helped, this situation surprised me as it was my first time experiencing such a process. When I asked if something could be done because it defeats the purpose of a Multiple Night Stay, I was informed that today's Room is non-smoking while tomorrow's is smoking and that tomorrow is fully booked so they couldn't change it to non-smoking. I mentioned that I had Reserved a non-smoking Room, but they insisted it showed as smoking on their end. Feeling something was off, I checked my Reservation on IKYU.com and confirmed it indeed stated non-smoking. After explaining this to them, they allowed me to stay in the same Room for both nights; however, they still requested me to return the key once in the morning which felt unreasonable. The next morning at around 8:30 AM when trying to return the key, none of the four elevators arrived promptly and there were long waits at reception due to crowds before being attended to. As a result, I missed my bus by just one minute and had no choice but to take a taxi at my own expense since the next bus wasn't for another three hours. Upon returning later and receiving back my key from reception, they forgot to provide me with breakfast coupons which were supposed to be handed over beforehand (I realized this only on the following morning and had to go request them myself). Additionally during checkout time when paying Accommodation Tax charges—only one night's worth of tax was charged despite guidelines indicating either both nights should incur taxes or neither depending upon coupon usage eligibility criteria. This Hotel itself is wonderful overall; I'd love staying here again whenever needed! But these inconsistencies left many questions unanswered. Lastly regarding amenities—it would be more convenient if skincare items like lotion & moisturizer came separately rather than combined into an all-in-one product!

    The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, offering both high safety and comfort. It's also perfect for a relaxing stay. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. A highly recommended and excellent Hotel!

    Thank you for your always attentive service and hospitality. Thanks to you, I have been able to enjoy a pleasant stay. The teacups seemed smaller; slightly larger ones would be preferable. It would also be great if there were thermostats for the bath and sink.

    Conveniently located near the station. You can stay comfortably without much inconvenience. The staff provides polite and reassuring service. There may be slight difficulties with the temperature of the sink and bath. The bath faucet is a bit loose, and there was one instance where the toilet water supply did not stop. I mention this as it might not be noticeable during cleaning. While it may not happen again, it could be worth checking for assurance.

    Basically good, but...

    When I requested an additional pillow from the housekeeping staff, they said they would check the stock and asked me to wait, but there was no follow-up. After contacting the front desk again, they promptly brought it to me. Since I am waiting for it to arrive quickly, it would be very helpful if you could inform me of any delays or estimated timeframes as I may have plans to go out. I believe not keeping guests waiting is an important part of good service. However, this is undoubtedly a very excellent Hotel overall.

    Pillow options are necessary.

    Did you choose the type of pillow (firmness, height, material)? Even in recent Business Hotels, it's common to have two types set from the start or to be able to use more upon request. In such cases, I think there would be a guide in the Room, so I didn't inquire. However, when I woke up with stiff shoulders, I regretted it. It's better to have more options for pillows.

    Disappointing aspects of cleaning during a Multiple Night Stay

    I have stayed for multiple nights several times. This time, there was dirt on the bathtub after cleaning. Hmm. This is the first time this has happened, and I was disappointed. Since it's a hotel I love, I look forward to improvements in the future.

    The service is courteous.

    It is a good Hotel. The service is polite and recommended. It would have been nice to have a magnifying mirror in the Room. Adjusting the bath temperature was a bit of a hassle. The sink plug was loose, so it couldn't hold water. However, overall I love this Hotel. I think it's just an issue with this particular Room.

    The food was incredi...

    The food was incredibly delicious!!! I had breakfast, and the bread was extremely tasty. There were also a wide variety of other dishes and vegetables, which made me very satisfied. The Room was spacious and comfortable to stay in. It was a Hotel that I would like to use again. Thank you very much.

    Old, few non-smoking rooms available.

    I looked for a non-smoking room but there were no vacancies, so I stayed in a smoking room. The smell of tobacco was ingrained in the hallway as soon as I got off the elevator. It's rare for most hotels nowadays to have smoking rooms. The bath and washbasin felt old. The toilet seat was so cold without a heating function that it made me jump, highlighting the Facility's age. It's an old Hotel aimed at inbound tourists.

    Thank you always. It's convenient to move directly from the station, and there are shops nearby, so you won't have trouble finding meals. The staff respond politely, so you can stay with peace of mind, and the Room was quiet and comfortable.

    The location is excellent.

    I appreciate the direct connection to the station via escalator (the station building is convenient) and the great view. Although some aging is inevitable, the place is well-maintained. The breakfast bread and coffee were delicious, and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Thank you very much.

    It is very convenient as it is directly connected to the station. The breakfast is so good that I always end up eating too much. The room is comfortable, and whenever I pass by the housekeeping staff, they always greet me politely. I feel very secure during a Multiple Night Stay.

    You can refresh yourself.

    I use it for refreshment. It's very convenient as it's close to the station, making transportation easy, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The Room is comfortable and provides a sense of security. When I forgot to bring my AC adapter, the front desk kindly lent me one. It was very helpful. Thank you so much. (I tried to buy one at a nearby 100-yen shop, but unfortunately, it was closed on its holiday.)

    Hmm...

    At the front desk check-in, I was given the wrong Room number and had to go back and forth, and the cleaning staff were talking loudly, which was quite an experience. Combined with the oldness of the Hotel and the poor service, in a way, it made sense!

    The level of the staff is low.

    The breakfast had a limited variety of side dishes (no grilled fish, few Western-style side dishes), so it wasn't entirely satisfying. However, there was a lot of bread, and the drinks were plentiful, which was nice. The room was decent. There were no issues with the amenities. However, the level of the staff is too low. I made a reservation to purchase bread the morning after my stay, but the message didn't get through. Fortunately, I was able to purchase the bread because there was some left. Despite being asked for my phone number and name... Where did the memo go? It was a memo with personal information, was it lost? It's terrifying. It's careless. I didn't get angry because they apologized and said they would report it to the higher-ups. To my surprise, the day after making the reservation, I received a call saying, "You haven't picked up the bread yet," which was shocking. It left me feeling very unpleasant.
