    A convenient location with direct access to the station.

    It happened to coincide with a fireworks festival, so the price seemed higher than usual, but the fireworks were beautiful and could be seen from the elevator hall. With only one Room left, there was only a smoking Room available, but the smell in the Room did not bother me that much. The hallway had a slightly old smell. Since I booked with breakfast included, I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

    You get what you pay for.

    I decided on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Osaka and made a Reservation because the price was low. Although I intended to book a non-smoking Room, I mistakenly chose a smoking Room… Since all Rooms for three guests were fully booked that day, I couldn’t switch to a non-smoking Room, but the tobacco smell was less noticeable than I expected, which was a relief. The Room facilities weren’t new, but it was clean and didn’t feel unpleasant to me. Breakfast didn’t have an especially large variety, but the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our meal comfortably. Overall it wasn’t more than worth the price, but we had a stay that matched what we paid for!

    Is the description not detailed enough?

    Although I made a Reservation with breakfast included, there was no explanation about breakfast at check-in. The next morning, even after it was discovered only because I called the front desk, I was disappointed that there wasn’t even a single apology.

    A splendid Hotel

    This was my first stay. Both the property and the room were spacious, and everything was very clean thanks to thorough housekeeping (especially in the bathroom). There was almost no mold or discoloration around the seals, which made the stay especially comfortable. While many places offer fewer amenities these days, this Hotel had everything provided, including cleansing oil, face wash, and lotion for women, so I was satisfied with every aspect. It’s also very convenient that the Accommodation is right in front of the station as soon as you get off the train. At the in-house shop (women’s accessories: ABISTE), the staff were wonderful and I was able to make a great purchase. I’ll be visiting Osaka again in summer and have already made another Reservation. Next time, I’d like to enjoy dining at the Hotel as well.

    Create unforgettable moments for your special anniversary.

    We visited this Hotel to celebrate a special anniversary. During the day, we enjoyed chatting in our Room, and with the Executive Floor benefits we spent an elegant time in the 1st-floor lounge while enjoying high-quality plated food and drinks. That evening, we had a celebratory dinner course at Ryuhou, the Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor. The atmosphere was luxurious and refined, and the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We were able to fully enjoy an elegant and delicious Chinese course meal. They even added a congratulatory message to our dessert plate, and being able to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime anniversary at this Hotel—and at Ryuhou—made us truly happy! Our Junior Suite offered a panoramic view of Sakai City from a high floor. Separated from the bedroom area, there was a spacious sofa and table arranged comfortably. It was quiet, and since the in-room minibar was complimentary, it was perfect for relaxing and chatting while enjoying canned beer and snacks. The bathroom area is also luxurious, with a separate shower booth and toilet, plus a jet bath function. From our east-facing Room, we could also faintly see the UNESCO World Heritage site of Emperor Nintoku’s Tomb amid the cityscape of Sakai. As a local sightseeing recommendation: Daisen Park is about 10 minutes by car from the Hotel. Within its grounds there is an attraction where you can ride in a hot-air balloon; from about 100 meters up you can take in the majestic view of Emperor Nintoku’s Tomb. I highly recommend taking a short trip for this balloon experience! The views from above—Sakai City, Osaka Bay, the Ikoma mountain range, and keyhole-shaped kofun burial mounds—are breathtaking. This Hotel has been my favorite for many years. I’ve stayed here for anniversaries like this one or simply to spend relaxing holidays. During COVID-19 restrictions when it was difficult to travel outside Osaka Prefecture, I refreshed myself by changing my mood in Rooms with beautiful views. One year when a typhoon was approaching, I also stayed here for safety reasons and spent the night with peace of mind. No matter what is happening around us, all of your staff have always provided consistent hospitality and welcomed me with calm smiles—I am truly grateful every time. With so many wonderful staff members here, I’m convinced once again that this will continue to be a beloved Hotel for years to come! I will definitely visit again!

    Excellent access.

    The location right by the station is truly appreciated. With an AEON-affiliated supermarket, MUJI, and convenience stores nearby, shopping is never a problem. Overall, I was very satisfied with the Accommodation. This time I booked a Plan that included lounge access, and the beautifully arranged cake assortment really lifted my mood. As for breakfast, it seemed many guests came without reserving on the day, so even with a breakfast voucher there was quite a line. Partway through, guests with vouchers were given priority guidance, but it was disappointing that many dishes were already empty. I hope you can improve headcount management and operations.

    Club benefits are...

    I booked this stay looking forward to the Club Floor experience. Because I had enjoyed it before COVID in 2019, I made a Reservation, but instead of the top-floor lounge, a sectioned-off area of the first-floor breakfast venue was used. The service was good, but compared with before, there was no view to speak of. Also, the Room amenities were clearly dated, and there were many disappointing points such as cracks in the sink and dark stains in the bath. Breakfast was excellent.

    The Room was spaciou...

    The Room was spacious and relaxing. I was a bit confused that the buffet items were arranged in a scattered way rather than grouped by type. It was a quiet stay, and I was able to relax quite a bit. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The room is spacious and comfortable. Great view with well-equipped amenities.

    I stayed at this hotel for sightseeing purposes around Umeda Station and Abeno Harukas, but I was drawn to the spacious room and ocean view. The room and view were exactly as expected, and I was very satisfied. The bed and pillows were comfortable, allowing me to sleep well, and having a separate bath and toilet was a big plus. Personally, I loved the texture and thickness of the room wear so much that I want to replicate it for my home loungewear. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Osaka.

    It was comfortable.

    The Facility is a bit old but very clean, spacious, and comfortable. There are various shops nearby, and the station is also close, making it convenient. This time we traveled by car, and it was great that it's near the highway exit. We bought bread at the Hotel shop, and it was very delicious. We would love to stay here again if we have another opportunity.

    Perfect for a Hotel stay.

    I booked a Bayside View Room on the Executive Floor for a solo hotel stay, and I was extremely satisfied. The location exceeded my expectations, and with the great weather, I could clearly see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Awaji Island. Just spending time by the window enjoying the view was incredibly refreshing. The lounge is in the same area as the buffet-style restaurant, so I recommend using it before the evening buffet starts (as it gets busy with buffet guests and staff seem occupied). However, both the dessert plate and hors d'oeuvre plate were all-you-can-eat and so delicious that I almost couldn't believe it—they were luxurious with plenty of fresh fruits. I would love to stay here again!

    The variety and quality of the offerings are average, but the temperature is consistently lukewarm. Neither the soup, miso soup, side dishes, nor egg dishes are served hot. Even the coffee from the vending machine is lukewarm. It's disappointing when you're expecting hot meals.

    Amazing ocean view from a high floor.

    Once again, we were truly impressed by the staff’s warm smiles, thoughtful attention to detail, courteous service, and outstanding hospitality. The ocean-view room on a high floor offered a wonderful view, and in the relaxed, calm atmosphere we were able to enjoy a refreshing escape from everyday life—thank you for giving my wife, who is exhausted from caring for her parents, such a special time. It was even more comfortable than we expected, and we will definitely return.

    The room is spacious and well-cleaned, but the breakfast taste needs improvement.

    It has been over ten years since my last visit when it was still the Rihga Royal. I used a twin Room for single use, so the spaciousness was excellent, and the cleaning, including the bathroom prone to mold, was satisfactory. However, it was disappointing that the heating seemed insufficient; even with the dial set to high and airflow increased, the Room did not warm up. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes with several handmade in the kitchen. However, despite arriving early, grilled fish was cold, sausages had a taste and texture suggesting added starch or plant protein, and skewered meat had too many tendons—highlighting quality issues. As someone working in food quality management, I felt there was little attention paid to enhancing meal flavors.

    Executive Floor

    Stayed on the Executive Floor. The 24th top floor offers a great view, and you can enjoy a drink, dessert, and more at the lounge. Parking is free, making it a very cost-effective stay. However, one major disappointment was the hairdryer. It felt sticky and unpleasant to use. It was also covered in dust and didn’t seem cleanable. I had to wrap a hand towel around the handle to use it as touching it directly was impossible. This should be replaced with a new one.

    It was a very satisfying accommodation.

    Thank you as always. It's a comfortable place to stay. The location is convenient, making it a Hotel you'll want to visit again soon. The only disappointing point is that wired LAN cannot be used. For some reason, it's always unavailable. While it's true that the demand for wireless LAN is high and I absolutely need Wi-Fi too, I believe there are still needs for wired LAN as well, so I hope this can be addressed. Many Hotels offer wired connections.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    I stayed on the Executive Floor. The lounge offered unlimited plates and drinks, which seemed very cost-effective. Additionally, snacks and drinks in the room were free. Breakfast was separate, but it seemed like booking it as a set with the hotel reservation would have been more economical. I stayed for relaxation purposes but ended up taking a one-hour walk around Old Sakai Port because I was too full. The well-maintained paths along the seaside were easy to walk on, and after breakfast the next day, I took another stroll with a takeout café au lait in hand. However, as mentioned in other reviews, some facilities are slightly outdated; there was some noise from drainage pipes and noticeable sounds of doors opening and closing from other rooms. That said, the windows were clean, allowing for pleasant views of the scenery—something I greatly appreciated—and there were no issues with customer service at all. To relax further in my room, I checked out the room service menu; prices were reasonable and looked promising. However, being too full to order anything this time around means I'll save it for my next visit! Room temperature could be adjusted via controls on the bed's headboard area. Facility information was accessible through a QR code provided at check-in. I hope these services will continue in future stays! Thank you very much!
