This secluded Accommodation in the mountains (with a day-use bathing Facility and a ski resort next door) is perfect for relaxing. With only a few Rooms, it was quiet, and since every Room has an open-air bath, I was able to enjoy the Onsen as many times as I liked without worrying about anyone else. The adjacent bathing Facility is also available, but the in-room open-air bath was spacious and more than enough. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. I didn’t have any particular complaints, but it wasn’t an especially memorable stay. Despite the upscale-style design, parts of the Facility felt like a Business Hotel; while tasty, the meals didn’t convey much individuality (a clear signature); and the service felt slightly businesslike. I felt that small changes in these areas could leave a much better impression. Overall, with spacious Rooms and open-air baths, it was good value for money, so I’d like to visit again.

We stayed as a family of three with our 5th-grade daughter. The Room was clean and comfortable, and we had a very relaxing stay. Both dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious, and we ate so much our stomachs hurt. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have loved a bit more variety of local specialties at breakfast, but there was more than enough food overall, so we were very satisfied. We were a little worried about the midsummer heat and the rural scenery, but we trusted everyone’s Reviews and are glad we chose this place. We enjoyed it together with visits to the Honda Collection Hall and Mobility Park, making it a fulfilling trip that felt different from usual—and we truly got to enjoy Motegi. We even saw shooting stars when looking up at the night sky, and were able to fully experience both nature and mobility. If we have another chance, we’d love to come back next time just to take our time stargazing.

I travel to Ise-Shima at least once a year. Each time, I look for an Accommodation with a private open-air Onsen bath in the Room. This stay at Haifu was truly wonderful—one of the best I’ve experienced. This time, we stayed in a special suite. First of all, taking a boat to reach the Accommodation really heightened the sense of being on a trip, and I couldn’t stop feeling excited. The Accommodation was beautiful and kept very clean, and the staff were excellent. The Room had an open-air bath with an ocean view. There is also frosted sliding glass that can be used as a privacy screen from outside. Soaking in the Onsen while watching the full moon and stars and listening to the sound of the sea was incredible. We were also able to enjoy our meals slowly in a private dining room. Both the taste and presentation were top-class. Haifu is an Accommodation you’ll definitely want to return to. I hope to stay again soon, and I look forward to visiting again then.

Thank you very much for your hospitality on this occasion. There were no major issues, and I am grateful that I was able to enjoy a generally comfortable stay. I hesitated to write this in a Review, but as I have no other way to convey my message, please allow me to share a few requests for improvement here. I am usually assigned Room 820, but this time I was shown to Room 620 for the first time. A common issue in both rooms is that the air-conditioning temperature setting is limited to a minimum of 23°C. This may not be a problem in midsummer when outdoor temperatures are high, but at this time of year the nighttime temperature drops, and at 23°C the cooling does not work well enough; each time, it becomes uncomfortably warm and makes it difficult to sleep. I understand the intention of narrowing the selectable temperature range and adjusting output at the outdoor cooling tower unit in order to reduce utility costs; however, if that results in guests having to endure an uncomfortable room temperature, I feel that is problematic. If possible, I would appreciate it if guests could select down to around 21°C. For reference, at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Station East Exit, cooling can be set down to 20°C. In addition, compared with before the renovation, removing the working desk space and also removing the two towel hooks that were on the wall to its left has been inconvenient—there is now nowhere suitable to hang used bath towels to dry. Even in a twin room, there should be other guests besides myself who work in their rooms; having only a small table in front of a small high sofa is inconvenient. Also, leaving two chairs sitting by themselves where the desk area used to be seems like wasted floor space—and even on the lighting switch it still says “desk.” For your reference, I have attached an image of bath towel hooks installed in the full changing area at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Station East Exit. Regarding Facility items specific to Room 620: The screw on the right-side bracket of the face-towel hook by the sink is loose and wobbles; please tighten it. Also, as for wall-mounted TV set: it tilts downward by about 7 mm on its left side; if possible, I would appreciate it if you could correct this. I sincerely apologize for raising such detailed points like an overly picky guest; however, there are many excellent aspects otherwise. As I would like continue staying with you going forward as well، these comments are offered with hopes for further improvements in convenience. I would be grateful if you could consider them positively.

The made-to-order breakfast options are simply outstanding. The buffet is also well stocked, with a wide variety of drinks. I’ve only stayed in the twin Room, but it’s very clean and comfortable. The size is decent. The lounge is a calm space where you can read while enjoying delicious coffee. The staff are all very pleasant, and I think it’s a great Hotel. If I had to nitpick… the parking lot is a bit narrow. When large cars are parked there, it can be quite difficult to get in. Also, when the lot right next door is full, you have no choice but to park at the second lot a few blocks away. It’s fairly far, so it’s tough if you have lots of luggage or on extremely hot days. The meals, the Room’s open-air bath, and the service were all excellent. We were able to fully enjoy a special getaway and relax at our own pace. We would love to visit again!

We visited to enjoy a family vacation. THE HOUSE has wonderful taste. From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with the ocean view stretching across the entire window. We were also captivated by the sight of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset, and couldn’t stop taking photos. There was an original photo book casually placed there, and when we opened it, inspiring words appeared, which conveyed the lovely thoughts behind this place when it was built. Since it was Golden Week, Aburatsubo and Misaki Port were crowded, but coming back felt like returning to a secluded private villa where we could truly rest and enjoy the quiet. Also, at a Hotel or Ryokan you can feel slightly rushed about breakfast times, so it was great to spend relaxed “THE HOUSE time” without that. Our dog could also stretch out and seemed very happy. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for the first time last year and loved it, so I chose this Hotel again this year when I came to Shizuoka for a live show. It’s very reasonably priced, but the staff are polite and kind, and the amenities and drink service are a huge help for someone traveling light. I didn’t have much time to use all the services again this year, but I was happy that there were still hitsumabushi rice balls available when I returned to the Hotel. Enjoying local food is one of the best parts of traveling! I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Shizuoka.

My wife and I visited from Kyoto. As it had not been long since the renovation, everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable one-night stay. The open-air bath in the guest room lets you fill it yourself—add cold water if it’s too hot, or add hot water if it’s too cool—so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Both the hot and cold water flow were plentiful, making it a truly stress-free Onsen experience that’s hard to find. The meals were also excellent; each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and I felt the chef must be very talented. If I had to mention one minor complaint, it would have been perfect if we could have seen Mt. Aso clearly from the bath, but I understand that can’t always be helped.

I made a Reservation for the Obon holiday because I wanted to relax. It was also great that there were complimentary drinks and light snacks in the lounge after check-in. Unfortunately, since it was right after a typhoon passed through, the view from the window was of rough seas, but I think it would have felt wonderful on a clear day. The Room was spacious enough, and I was able to unwind comfortably. The drinks in the in-room refrigerator were free, and we were told we could take them with us if we didn’t drink them—such a nice touch. We reserved a private family bath, which was very spacious and easy to use, so we could soak and relax. I wasn’t expecting much from the meals, but everything except the crab was delicious—I ended up eating too much. Breakfast even included a DIY rice bowl station (nokkedon), which was also delicious—I ate too much again! At check-out, we received drinks and a parasol as souvenirs, which made me very happy. I would definitely like to visit again.

The front desk staff came from various countries, but everyone spoke excellent Japanese and was incredibly kind. The property was clean, and the Room was spacious. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed in a twin Room. For a Hotel in the city center, the Room was spacious and exceptionally well cleaned, making our stay very comfortable. The staff seemed well trained, and the service was excellent. We had the Japanese set breakfast, which was delicious. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, and there is a subway station and bus stop right in front of the Hotel, making it very convenient for getting around. We would like to stay here again when visiting Sendai.

It was just after the Obon holidays, but the timing worked out and I was able to stay. The shower pressure and temperature in the bath had been properly fixed, so even during my morning bath I could freshen up quickly. I enjoyed the standard meal, and as always, the beer was nicely chilled. They also let me bathe after checkout, so I was able to fully enjoy the Accommodation. Thank you again this time. I will stay again.

A 3-minute walk to the station and a 6-minute walk to AEON Tokoname. It’s also just one stop from the airport.\nAlthough we stayed for one night, parking was inexpensive because it wasn’t peak season—1,500 yen for five nights.\nI think this Hotel can be used differently from those adjacent to Centrair.\nThe Room was spacious and clean.\nWe appreciated the staff’s courteous service.\nBreakfast is provided as a complimentary service.\nBy the way, there was a shuttle bus from the station to downtown Tokoname.

This was my third stay, the first in several years. I was truly impressed by the staff’s warm smiles, thoughtful and professional attention to detail, and outstanding hospitality that feels personal to each guest. Thanks to them, I enjoyed a comfortable 3-night, 4-day stay. All of the meals were delicious—the Japanese and Western breakfast options, sea bream chazuke, and the shabu-shabu dinner course. The portions were just right as well. I especially appreciated being able to enjoy everything in my Room. The drink service in the lounge and other touches were also very well considered. The Room was cleaned thoroughly down to every detail, making my stay very pleasant. I’d love to visit again before the new outlet opens next year (while Reservations are still available). I stayed for two nights on Friday and Saturday. The building is certainly old, but the Room was thoroughly cleaned and comfortable to use. When staying at a Hotel, I personally pay attention to the brightness of the Room and the location and number of power outlets. This Hotel had a light by the window, and extension power strips were added near the pillow and on the table, which I found very well thought out. I also enjoyed choosing from the small breakfast side dishes. It’s also a big plus that Saturday is priced the same as weekdays. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again when I’m in this area.

My wife and I stayed for one night shortly before Tanabata. We visited after seeing it featured on NHK’s “Bi no Tsubo,” because we wanted to try the irori hearth cuisine. The entrance is located within the large parking area of Shirayama Hime Shrine, and the Accommodation sits in a quiet setting between the shrine’s approach paths. Our Room was a Japanese-style tatami room, and the garden view from the engawa veranda—looking past the irori—was full of charm and very relaxing. There is no toilet in the Room, but one is very close by, so it wasn’t an issue. It felt like staying in a spacious traditional home. Also, in a reading room near the bath called Waraku-an, we could sit on chairs on the veranda and gaze at the greenery along the shrine approach, losing track of time. Dinner was served in another Japanese-style room with an irori. The appetizers presented in a bamboo basket were decorated with bamboo leaves and hydrangeas, giving a cool summer feel. After that, we enjoyed delicious dishes centered around ayu (sweetfish) grilled by the young proprietor over the irori in our room. The ayu rice was excellent as well. Including breakfast, everything was truly delicious, and the portions were just right—we were very satisfied. Before long we noticed handwritten messages from the proprietress throughout our Room and around the Accommodation. They are humorous and warm, and when you speak with her you can really feel her heartfelt hospitality and unhurried sense of time. She even said that when bears once appeared at the shrine, they had simply come to pay their respects—bravo. All in all, Wadayasan at Mt. Hakusan was an outstanding Accommodation for its setting, food, and wonderful proprietress—and it’s an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

Because the Reviews were highly rated, I had wanted to visit for a long time. When I actually stayed, it was exactly as the Reviews said, and I felt truly relaxed. The iron-rich Onsen was wonderful, and the Room was very clean; throughout the property I could also sense the owner’s thoughtful touches, which made my stay extremely comfortable. I also appreciated the staff’s respectful sense of distance—it really helped someone like me who tends to get nervous. The meals were outstanding; I’ve never had fish this fresh before, and the meat was also incredibly delicious—I was genuinely impressed! Breakfast was comforting and delicious as well, and I enjoyed a wonderful time right up to the very end. It was a lovely one-night, two-day stay. Thank you very much. I will definitely come again!
