Approximately 30 minutes by car from the World Heritage Site Himeji Castle and Himeji Central Park. A Property where you can relax while enjoying the clear stream of the Yumesaki River from your Room. The large public bath with a jacuzzi and the cypress open-air bath are available until midnight. The "Dog-Friendly Room," which reopened in 2024, is a popular Room where you can stay with up to two small or medium-sized dogs. Additionally, the "Family Room," also renovated in the same period, is highly praised as an ideal choice for stays with babies or children. We offer a memorable night for our guests. With the concept of "just the right amount of extraordinary," we provide the perfect balance of distance, scale, hospitality, and special experiences to meet everyone's "just right."
This time we stayed in the dog-friendly Room with our daughter and her husband. My spouse and I have stayed here four or five times, and we keep coming back because the meals are delicious and the service is very attentive. It was our daughter’s first visit, and she was happy with how good the food was. Since it was our first time visiting in summer, we were surprised by how many insects there were and how crowded it was, but we were able to spend comfortably in the Room. However, one Room for four people and two dogs felt a bit cramped, so next time we plan to book two Rooms. The Room was clean and had no dog odor.
シルバートイ 7/15/2026The hot spring was so good I wanted to soak in it again and again. The changing area was also clean and pleasant. The sofa by the garden where the Orihime and Hikoboshi baths flow out is a lovely spot, but it was too hot to sit there after bathing, so I left quickly. I would like a space where you can cool down. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The chawanmushi portion was small and just right. If I had to say one thing, the rice felt a little firm. Overall, my stay was more comfortable than expected. The hospitality is outstanding.

For all Reservations received on or after September 1, 2024, including those from returning guests, we can accommodate ingredient changes only for the eight specified allergens listed below.
Shrimp / Crab / Buckwheat / Egg / Milk / Peanuts / Walnuts / Wheat
Due to the operational constraints of a Ryokan—such as complex food preparation processes, the number of staff involved in cooking, and the volume of meals prepared—it is extremely difficult to provide detailed individual accommodations for each request. Complete removal cannot be guaranteed. We have determined that handling many individual requests may increase the risk of mistakes and could put guests in danger. Therefore, guests with severe allergy symptoms are asked to bring their own meals. For guests whose allergy symptoms are not severe, we will make efforts to remove allergens only for the specified allergens designated by Japan’s Consumer Affairs Agency.

We offer two types of meals for children:
- Standard meal (no allergen removal)
- Allergy-friendly meal (for the eight specified allergens)
If you inform us that your child has allergies, we will provide the “allergy-friendly meal.”
We do not accept requests for individual removals such as “shrimp only” or “egg only.”
You may choose to receive the “standard meal” and have a parent/guardian avoid items your child cannot eat at their discretion. Alternatively, you may choose the “allergy-friendly meal” and order additional dishes separately according to your child’s preferences.

The dog-friendly room, featuring pet cushion flooring, food bowls, and toilets for dogs, offers a spacious area of 45.9 square meters. The dedicated pet building includes a pet-specific entrance and a foot washing area for comfort. There are also walking paths and a dog run, convenient for morning and evening strolls, allowing you to enjoy a special day comfortably with your beloved dog.
Mantenboshi Open-Air Bath
"Hoshi no Rotenburo Tenshu no Yu" is inspired by the walls of Himeji Castle. This infinity bath creates the illusion of the scenery and the Onsen merging into one. At night, enjoy a starry bath as the night sky's stars reflect on the water's surface.
Western-style room with view bath, opened in 2023
From 2023 to 2024, some Room types will be newly renovated and reopened. The Western-style Room with a view bath opened in 2023. This Room features a bathroom equipped with fully openable windows. Open the windows to enjoy a refreshing breeze, or keep them closed to experience the open-air bath feeling in a spacious and liberating bathroom. The view from the Room is also breathtaking! The child-friendly guest Room, "Family Room," is a delightful space for kids and babies. Our Property has been certified as a "Welcome Baby" accommodation by Mikihouse Child & Family Research Institute! It is the perfect Room for families with kids or babies to create unforgettable memories together. For a fun trip with your beloved dog, stay in the "Dog-Friendly Room," opening in 2024. Your dog is an important part of your family. Spending time together and sleeping in the same space while traveling is only natural. To ensure a comfortable stay, the Room is equipped with a dedicated entrance and dog supplies, offering a special and pleasant experience.

- For the health and safety of our guests and staff, our staff may wear masks and gloves. - Disinfectant is available in areas such as the lobby and at entrances to dining venues. - Frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs are thoroughly cleaned. - During cleaning, Rooms and shared spaces are well ventilated to maintain clean air. - The kitchen is disinfected regularly. - Protective panels have been installed at the front desk counter to help prevent droplet transmission, and we assist guests one at a time. Guidance signs are also in place so guests waiting in line can keep an appropriate distance. - Staff practice thorough handwashing and gargling. - Staff temperatures are checked daily; anyone with cold-like symptoms is instructed not to come to work. - Product sampling at the shop has been suspended for hygiene reasons. - To avoid crowding, we may assign time slots or ask you to wait. - Tables and chairs are disinfected frequently after use. - Alcohol disinfectant spray is provided on-site. - Covered containers or splash guards are used to help prevent droplet transmission. - Guests are asked to wear gloves and a mask when serving themselves food. - Please follow a one-way flow so that you do not come into close contact with other guests while serving yourself; floor markers are placed to help maintain distance. - Serving tongs/chopsticks for each dish are replaced frequently (single-use per set) with regular replenishment/exchange.
