For a Kiso-Komagatake hike. Everyone at the Hotel was kind and made us feel at home. The building and baths feel like an older Facility, but the Rooms have been renovated. We stayed in a “Japanese-style Room (10 tatami mats) with no view,” surrounded by trees, but after enjoying plenty of scenery on the hike, taking a bath, having a delicious dinner, and sleeping like a log, it didn’t matter at all. It felt like great value to relax in a clean, spacious tatami Room.It was a standard large public bath, but the silky-smooth water was amazing.I went in three times. I want to go again!Onuma Lake is nearby, and the Central Alps reflected on the water are beautiful. It’s also convenient—about a 15-minute walk to Suganodai Bus Center for buses to Senjojiki.

The Onsen was well cleaned and felt wonderful, and it left our skin silky smooth—amazing!! The meals and drinks were healthy, and the portions were just right. In the first-floor lobby, there is complimentary coffee service, books on medicinal cuisine, and bamboo lanterns, making it easy to relax and unwind. The staff were cheerful and friendly, which helped us feel truly at ease. We also recommend taking a walk around the Hotel. We would love to stay again.
