Reservations and Facility Operations Due to an Approaching Typhoon
If a typhoon is expected to approach, we may change our operations with guest safety as our top priority.
Below is information on changing or canceling your Reservation and on Hotel operations.
[About Reservations]
• If your airline announces a cancellation or significant delay for either your outbound or return flight
• If you are already in Okinawa or live in the prefecture and it becomes difficult to reach our Hotel due to suspended public transportation, etc.
If you are unable to visit due to the reasons above, the Cancellation Fee will generally be waived. However, you must complete the cancellation procedure with the place where you made your Reservation (our Hotel, a travel agency, or each reservation site such as Rakuten Travel, Jalan, Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc.). Cancellation policies and procedures vary by booking source, so please check in advance.
• If you do not complete the cancellation procedure through your booking source
• If you cancel at your own discretion before any airline cancellation/delay information is announced
In these cases, the Cancellation Fee waiver may not apply.
[About Facility Operations]
As a typhoon approaches, our Facility operations may be affected.
Our dining venue and large public bath are located outside the main Hotel building. Therefore, moving between Facilities may be dangerous during strong winds.
In addition, during a power outage an emergency generator will operate; however, to conserve fuel, in-room air conditioning as well as some appliances and electrical outlets in guest rooms will not be available.
Furthermore, for employee safety we may adjust staffing. As a result, some services—including room cleaning—may be reduced.
Operational decisions may be made at short notice depending on the typhoon’s approach and weather conditions. Even after the typhoon passes, it may take time to conduct safety checks and restore Facilities and equipment; therefore we may not be able to resume normal operations immediately.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize safety above all else.
