Nazuna Obi Castle Town Onsen
Miyazaki Prefecture/ObiA five-room Ryokan renovated from a former samurai residence over 140 years old, with an open-air Onsen bath in every room.
As the castle town of Obi Domain under the Ito Clan, this area flourished and was the first in Kyushu to be designated as an "Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings," recognized for its historical value with samurai residences still scattered throughout. We have transformed one of these historic samurai residences into a luxurious and pristine Property. Fully renovated, it offers a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Our Ryokan is a renovated Onsen Property located in the Obi castle town, featuring a main building over 140 years old (approximately 350 square meters) and a detached barn (approximately 45 square meters). Each guest room is equipped with a private open-air Onsen bath and is designed with interiors inspired by Obi's unique characteristics, such as "Honmurasaki" (deep purple), "Koke" (moss), and "Sugi" (cedar). Introducing the "Castle Town View Sauna," a private outdoor sauna perched on a hill! Exclusively available to our guests, this fully outdoor private sauna offers a serene experience. From the outdoor deck overlooking the samurai residences of Obi castle town, you can enjoy the ultimate relaxation. *The sauna is available for 3,300 yen (tax included) per person for a 2-hour session.
