Noble fragrance, elegant moments, an open sanctuary, Fufu Nikko.
Adjacent to the Nikko Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park, "Fufu Nikko" is a small luxury resort surrounded by an air of elegance and lush greenery. Upon entering the entrance adorned with an impressive plum blossom chandelier, you will find a space that revives traditional Japanese aesthetics in a modern way, reflecting history and culture. The Onsen, sourced from our private spring, can be enjoyed in open-air baths where you can feel the strength of Tamozawa's trees and hear the gentle flow of the river, as well as in every guest room. Our cuisine blends Japanese and Western styles, offering a sensory experience of Japan's unique appreciation for beauty and seasonal delights.
We stayed as a mother-and-daughter trip to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We have stayed at many Accommodations, but our time at Fufu Nikko was truly unforgettable and the best we have ever had.The Room was extremely comfortable, and the in-room Onsen was wonderfully relaxing—we enjoyed it many times during our stay. The dining was also outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented on lovely tableware, and you could feel the care and attention of the chefs. Everything tasted delicious. The final dish—rice with conger eel and lotus root—was especially wonderful, but we were so full that we couldn’t finish it. That is my only regret. Even now, my daughter and I still say, “We really wanted to eat all of that.”The whole cake we requested in advance for my daughter’s birthday was also set up beautifully when we returned to our Room after dinner. They even added flowers along with the cake, which deeply moved my daughter. Thanks to your thoughtful touch, it became a truly memorable birthday.Above all, what stayed with us most was the hospitality of your staff. From the warm welcome on arrival to the farewell at departure, everything felt comfortable. Wherever we went, everyone greeted us kindly, and each small gesture of consideration felt genuinely heartfelt. The explanations during meals were clear and attentive, and even our casual conversations in between were enjoyable. The service never felt formal or stiff—just perfectly attentive with a comfortable sense of distance—and both my daughter and I were completely charmed by it.Of course the Facility and cuisine were wonderful as well, but this stay reminded me that what ultimately makes you want to return is always “the people.”Even after coming home, my daughter and I haven’t stopped talking about Fufu Nikko. We’ve become big fans of “Fufu,” and are already planning which one to visit next—with an ambitious goal of visiting them all.I sincerely thank all of your staff for turning this important birthday trip with my daughter into such a beautiful memory. We will definitely return again.Thank you very much.
北アルプス大好き 8/12/2026This is a very charming Accommodation. The Room has a large sofa, perfect for relaxing and even taking a comfortable nap.You can enjoy the Onsen both in the bath in your Room and in the large public bath. The open-air bath at the large public bath was especially wonderful, surrounded by nature. The meals were delicious, made with seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce. They also kindly changed the river fish dish I don’t like, which was very helpful.Above all, all of the staff were so pleasant—it’s one of the main reasons I’d like to come back!
