Lantern lights, historical aroma, a Nara resort in harmony with nature.
Fufu Nara is a small luxury resort designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma, inheriting the scenic beauty of the ancient capital, Nara. Nara’s profound history and culture are expressed throughout the property, offering a serene space wrapped in the gentle warmth of wood. In every guestroom, enjoy natural Onsen featuring our “Wakan Aromatic Bath,” inspired by Nara’s heritage as the birthplace of traditional medicine. For dining—one of the great pleasures of travel—savor Japanese cuisine or teppanyaki that captures the culture and charm of this region.
I came to Nara for the first time with my mother because we wanted to see Nara Park and the deer.We chose this Ryokan because it is close to Nara Park and has an in-room Onsen.I love traveling both in Japan and abroad, and when traveling domestically, I enjoy staying at Onsen Ryokan and wonderful Hotels. I have visited many places, but Fufu Nara was truly outstanding. Sightseeing was fun as well—we explored more than just the deer—and I would definitely like to visit Nara again, and return to Fufu Nara too.The staff’s hospitality was excellent; everyone was incredibly kind. The room and the Onsen were very clean and perfect. All of the food was delicious. We will be back.
あおい、 7/18/2026Every year around this time, my sister and I take a short trip together. This year we wanted to explore Nara, so we booked our Accommodation at “Fufu Nara.” From the moment we stepped inside, the soothing scent of incense made us feel relaxed. The refined elegance of the building itself, the wonderful hospitality of all the staff, the beautifully kept Room, and the delicious meals were beyond words. It’s an Accommodation I would love to visit again someday.
