About 2 minutes from Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station, a lifestyle Hotel focused on natural materials and wellness.

Embrace what’s good for your mind and body, and enjoy it even more. From Kyoto, we introduce a new lifestyle called “GOOD NATURE,” which allows you to incorporate healthy and beneficial elements into your life in your own way. In 2020, we became the first Hotel in the world to receive the “WELL Certification (v1),” awarded to buildings that prioritize environmental and health considerations. Our features include a green wall in the courtyard that replicates Kyoto’s vegetation and designs made with natural materials. We also offer a variety of activities such as yoga and meditation. Since our opening, we have aimed for a “sustainable, non-disposable society” by encouraging guests to bring their own toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and razors instead of providing them in guest rooms. (As of April 2022, amenities are available for purchase at the front desk, with proceeds supporting circular economy initiatives.)

  • I stayed at this Hotel for the first time after wanting to for a long time. I stayed in a Room with a terrace, and it was spacious enough to relax comfortably on the terrace or sofa. The Room was also kept very clean, which I was happy with. Breakfast was delicious as well. I would like to stay again.

Notice from the Accommodation

  • Notice: Paid Amenities Starting April 1, 2022

Since its opening, GOOD NATURE HOTEL KYOTO has been promoting a sustainable society by encouraging guests to bring their own toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and razors instead of providing disposable amenities in guest rooms. This initiative is part of our commitment to conserving resources and fostering a circular society.

In line with the "Plastic Resource Circulation Act" enacted in April 2022, we are further enhancing our efforts to protect the environment.

Specifically, we are implementing the following measures:
    - Offering amenities for purchase upon request.
    - Donating proceeds from amenity sales to support sustainability initiatives.
    - Transitioning plastic amenities to alternative materials (razors are currently under review for material changes but may still use plastic).

    [Amenity Sales Proceeds Donation]
Proceeds from amenity sales will be used to contribute toward building a circular society. For example, funds will support partners involved in sustainable agriculture at GOOD NATURE STATION or assist farms producing fair-trade agricultural products. These efforts align with our theme of creating benefits for both people and nature.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
