  • I’m a repeat guest.Although this Accommodation has a 100-year history, the in-house Facility, garden, guest Rooms, baths—everything is beautifully maintained, and you can feel the attention to detail throughout to ensure a comfortable stay. The staff service is also excellent. Their sense of distance—stepping in smoothly when needed—felt very pleasant, and I was able to truly relax. The meals were delicious as well, and the tableware and presentation are beautiful and exciting. I feel the dining alone offers more than enough value for the price. Also, since there are relatively few Rooms and no children staying, the atmosphere inside is calm, which I love because I can relax anywhere in the Accommodation. These days, perhaps due to rising costs, I’m often disappointed when food quality or service declines on repeat visits—but I sincerely hope Gyokuhokan will remain unchanged when I visit next time. I will definitely return.

  • As a true adults-only hideaway, the Accommodation was quiet and relaxing. The meals were delicious, beautifully presented, and the ingredients were explained with great care. If the washroom lighting were a bit brighter, it would have been easier to apply makeup. We made another wonderful memory with my daughter.

A Trip for Onsen and Dining

The garden is beautifully illuminated, creating a magical night with Kawazu cherry blossoms reflected in the light.
Why not take this opportunity to enjoy our 100th Anniversary Plan and fully indulge in “luxurious dining, Onsen baths, and relaxation”? Savor our New Japanese cuisine, enjoy the abundant hot spring waters of Mine Onsen to your heart’s content, and spend an elegant time gazing out over the garden as the seasons change.
To help you feel the arrival of summer, we have placed wind chimes featuring goldfish motifs along the corridor.
In addition, at each large public bath and at our private bath “Yunagi,” you can enjoy the cool, nostalgic tones of Nambu ironware wind chimes that gently ring whenever a breeze passes by, bringing a sense of calm. Along with lush greenery and rising Onsen steam, you can also experience the charm of summer through sound.

Notice Regarding Reservations During Construction of the Daifunto Park Onsen Yagura

Thank you very much for your continued patronage.
The hot spring source of the neighboring “Mine Onsen Big Geyser Park,” one of the symbols of Kawazu Town, was discovered on November 22, 1926 by our founder, Tokitaro Inaba. This year marks the significant milestone of its 100th anniversary.
To commemorate this special year, Kawazu Town will be carrying out reconstruction work on the Onsen tower at Big Geyser Park. Please note the following information.

    ■ During the construction period (Tue, Oct 27 – Mon, Nov 3): Possible impacts
Depending on construction progress, dates and the following impacts may occur:
    - Changes to operating hours for the large public bath “Oiwa-buro Fukika”
    - Construction noise during daytime hours, etc.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This is an important project to preserve and carry forward this historic Onsen into the future.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
