    With construction starting in September, and since we can only travel on weekdays, this was our last stay of the year.The food, the baths, and the Room were wonderful—and above all, the staff’s hospitality was exceptional in every way.What impressed us most this time was how you remembered what we discussed during our previous stay about how to serve chilled sake, and then made it happen exactly as promised. We were able to enjoy it deliciously right to the very last sip.Your prompt response truly surprised us and made us feel that you are always thinking of your guests.This is a special place for us. We are deeply grateful for this encounter, and we sincerely look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

  • We had a great time.

    The August kaiseki let us really feel the season, and we enjoyed it not only for the taste but also with our eyes. The portion of meat was just right for us. We ordered sake again this time, but… when sipping it little by little, it becomes slightly lukewarm toward the end. At some Ryokan, they serve it with ice in a container of some kind. It looks refreshing, and being able to drink it cold until the very end is the best. I’m not saying you need to improve it right away, but I hope you will consider it in the future. Sorry for such a demanding comment.. We were able to have another wonderful time this time as well. Thank you very much.

To maintain the safety of our building and to continue welcoming guests safely for many years to come, we will be carrying out exterior wall repairs and renovation work in some Rooms starting in September 2026.
During the construction period, our operations will be irregular; however, we will make every effort to prioritize guest convenience and consideration for the surrounding views.

- Views: For exterior wall painting, no scaffolding will be installed on the window side of guest Rooms. You can enjoy the usual view toward the Matsukawa Promenade from your Room.
- Noise: During guest stay hours (from check-in to check-out), no noisy construction or work will be carried out. You can relax in a quiet environment.
