    My spouse and I stayed for one night starting July 19. From the pickup at the station to sightseeing guidance after checkout, your attentive hospitality and thoughtful care made our stay truly comfortable. Thank you very much. The teppanyaki dinner course delighted both our eyes and our taste buds, and the chef’s enjoyable conversation made the evening even better—we left feeling full and in great spirits. We hope to visit again during a pleasant season. With sincere gratitude!

  • The courteous service was excellent.

    Everyone who assisted us—the greeter, the dinner staff, and the breakfast staff—was wonderful.We also enjoyed the bath in our Room.For dinner, we had the certified Omi beef kaiseki course.It was delicious overall, but it was a shame that the meat for the hot-plate grill was a little tough. I think it might be better served thinly sliced.For the beef sukiyaki hot pot, we preferred plain white rice, so we asked to have it instead of seasoned rice.We really appreciated the thoughtful service from our dinner attendant.In particular, it was great that they kept up with us even though we eat quickly.

Taiko Onsen is located on the top floor. The magnificent views of Lake Biwa and the sunset are truly stunning. This iron-rich Onsen is colorless when it first springs up, but gradually turns a reddish-brown color. It warms you to the core, so you are less likely to feel chilled afterward. The large public bath also features an open-air Shigaraki-ware bath.
