Tengu, The moment a warm sun shines while an occasional north wind rustles the trees, The moment the moon seen from Futami Suspension Bridge glows round and golden like an egg yolk, The moment chestnut burrs in the courtyard shift from green to brown and plump into shape, The moment you wake to a window filled with snow-covered mountains.   • A Luxurious Stay

    It was my first visit in a while. I used to go once a year, so I’m practically a regular. The Hotel staff even remembered me and were considerate about my allergies and foods I don’t like. I always stay in the Spa Living room, and the hot stone sauna had been replaced with a sauna, which was also great. The service is truly excellent—everyone is wonderful. They are polite, but also make your stay enjoyable. I definitely want to come again next year.

  • A very well-balanced accommodation.

    We stayed here on the last day of our trip to Hokkaido.It was a very well-balanced Accommodation.We also used the private open-air bath at a nearby affiliated Accommodation, and the coordination with our Accommodation was excellent, so we could enjoy it comfortably.Everything we had felt was missing at other Accommodations we’ve stayed at before was all here, and we were very satisfied.Next time, we would like to stay at another affiliated Accommodation as well.However, while the meals were very delicious, they felt slightly less satisfying than we had expected.Even so, this was one of the most satisfying Accommodations we have stayed at recently.Thank you very much.

  • [Important] Notice of Changes to the Hot Spring Bath-Hopping Service (Effective April 1, 2026)

    Starting with check-ins on April 1, 2026, access to our group Ryokan hot-spring hopping program will be consolidated to two locations: “Kyujitsu-yu (Kyujitsu Building 2F)” and “Yumoto Koganeyu.”
    By booking the “Daiichi Hotel Tsuruga 36-Hour Stay Program,” you can enjoy the following facilities at no additional charge:

    ・On your check-in day (from 11:00)
    Access to the large public bath, sauna, and lounge at “Kyujitsu Building”

    ・After check-out (until 23:00 / last entry 22:00)
    Access to the large public bath and sauna at “Yumoto Koganeyu”

Drive about 40 minutes on National Route 230 from Sapporo, then turn right at the sign for Otaru / Asarigawa Onsen. After about 1.5 km, turn left at the traffic light (sign for Jōzankei Onsen). Our Hotel is immediately on your left.
