A kaiseki Ryokan in Tsukioka Onsen where you can enjoy seasonal nature and renowned beauty-enhancing hot springs.

A traditional Japanese kaiseki inn perched on a hill in Tsukioka Onsen, Niigata. In the forest of Echigo-Tsukioka, along a gentle path. As dusk slowly falls like a soft veil of pale ink, we light each lamp in our Accommodation one by one. May these quietly flickering lights warm your heart as well.

  • Both the space and the hospitality were very comfortable. At the end of dinner, rice and eel were served, but the eel was tough and the seasoning wasn’t to my taste. The rice was very delicious. As a Diamond member gift, I received rice. I plan to cook it in a clay pot.The bath is on the small side, but it was very clean with a faint sulfur scent—truly the best Onsen I’ve ever experienced. I was worried because I had facial allergies, but instead the itching went away and the redness subsided. Once again, I was impressed by the power of nature.Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

  • My first time at Tsukioka Onsen. The water was at a comfortable temperature, perfect for a long soak—the best Onsen I’ve ever experienced.I tried a variety of dishes, but it was the first time I felt “beautiful” was the right word to describe the food. When I sent photos to my son, his first reaction was:“It’s so beautiful.”Truly a meal that delights all five senses! The hospitality from the manager and the proprietress was also outstanding! If I had to mention one thing, having a business desk and chair would make longer stays more feasible. If that could be arranged by request...But then again, maybe it’s better to step away from work when coming here—hard to decide...I’ve found another Facility I’d love to visit again when I get the chance.Thank you.

Imaino Hospitality

“More than just service” What we value most is genuine connection—person to person, heart to heart. Since our founding in 1915 as the first Ryokan in Tsukioka Onsen to feature an indoor Onsen bath, this spirit has been faithfully passed down through the years. On our grounds stands a venerable Inari shrine that receives sacred talismans each year from Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, quietly watching over your journey with prayer.
