  • Celebration of a 70th Birthday

    We stayed at Sanraku to celebrate my husband’s and my 70th birthday anniversary as a couple.First, we were comforted by the attendants’ lovely smiles.At mealtime, we were deeply moved to find a wonderful hand-drawn plate by the manager displayed on our table.We also heard that the menu card was hand-drawn by the manager as well.They even prepared a purple celebratory vest for our 70th birthday celebration and took commemorative photos for us.In the bath area, we were surprised by the wide variety of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available.In the changing room, there was also an assortment of high-end skincare products, which my daughter was able to use.It was a truly attentive Hotel in every way.My daughter and I are already talking about staying at Sanraku again.Thank you very much.

  • Family Trip

    We decided to stay one night in Tochigi so our grandchild could meet their great-grandmother. We chose to stay again at Sanraku, which we used last year for my mother’s 88th birthday celebration. Kinugawa is about a 30-minute drive from my mother’s home. Sanraku has spacious Rooms, it’s easy to get to the baths, the staff are polite and friendly, the meals are delicious, and we also loved that it never felt crowded with guests. For my mother’s 88th birthday last time, you prepared a gold celebratory vest and hat for her and even gave us photos—she was truly delighted. This time we were traveling with a wobbly-walking one-year-old and my elderly mother as well, so we chose a Japanese-style Room with minimal steps. My daughter and her husband were also very satisfied because they could let the child play in the spacious Room. We were able to enjoy our meals at a relaxed pace, and I’m truly glad everyone was happy with their stay. Thank you very much for your thoughtful care and kindness throughout our visit. We would love to stay again.

"To provide you with a comfortable and relaxing time," we have prepared Rooms with a spacious area of over 74 square meters. The Japanese-style Rooms can accommodate up to 6 guests, and the Japanese-Western style Rooms can accommodate up to 5 guests, allowing you to relax comfortably even during group stays. From every Room, you can enjoy the view of the Kinugawa River flowing below, as well as the seasonal beauty of the mountains, including fresh greenery, lush leaves, autumn foliage, and white snow. The furnishings in the Rooms are made with Wajima lacquer, featuring delicate gold-painted designs of Nikko Kisuge or other unique patterns depending on the Room, adding a touch of elegance to your stay.
