Hotel Grand Phoenix Okushiga has long provided strict safety standards and attentive service to ensure every guest enjoys a safe and comfortable stay. Thanks to your support, we have maintained 25 years without a single hygiene-related incident. We are truly grateful for the trust you have placed in our Hotel over the years. However, in response to the impact of COVID-19, we have reviewed our existing cleanliness and hygiene standards once again to ensure each guest can stay with peace of mind. As a result, in addition to our established standards, we will further strengthen measures focusing on the areas below. ■ Public Spaces - We will thoroughly sanitize and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as elevators, handrails, and doors. In addition to our existing cleaning procedures and frequency, this will be carried out more carefully and more often. - We will increase the number of alcohol sanitizer stations for guests. In addition to current locations, they will be placed in elevator halls on every floor—ensuring sanitizer is available wherever guests enter or pass through. ■ Guest Rooms - In addition to standard cleaning procedures, we will thoroughly disinfect frequently touched areas (doorknobs, handrails, washbasins, etc.). - A UV sterilization lamp capable of eliminating 99% of germs is placed in each Room so you can sanitize any area whenever needed. - Room keys are also sanitized and disinfected after each checkout. ■ Restaurant & Lounge - We will thoroughly sanitize and disinfect tables, chairs, and other items used by guests. - Partitions will be installed and spacing between tables increased to help ensure guest safety. - Breakfast buffet service and cake buffet service will be suspended until further notice. For breakfast, please enjoy either an American breakfast or a Japanese set meal. Afternoon tea is available in the lounge (Reservation required by the day before). ■ Complimentary Shuttle Service Vehicle - We have introduced a powerful air circulation system that continuously refreshes the air while driving and can replace all cabin air within one minute—so you can use our complimentary Shuttle Service with confidence. ■ Staff - All staff wear masks at all times and follow strict handwashing, gargling, and disinfection practices when assisting guests. - Our Hotel provides private rooms in staff housing as well, helping reduce infection risk among employees. To help protect the safety of both guests and staff members alike,we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following: - Temperature checks may be conducted at check-in; when boarding the complimentary Shuttle Service;and when using the restaurant (lunch) or lounge.If your temperature is 37 .5°C or higher,we may ask you to stay in a separate room or take other precautions . -Alcohol sanitizers are available throughoutthe property.Please assist us by using them regularly .
