The café from 2:00 PM and the bar from 5:00 PM are excellent, with a great selection of drinks. The Room is a bit small but cute, and the staff are wonderful. I will stay here again on business trips.

I’d like to stay at this hotel again. 　Since I walked, it honestly felt just a little far from the station. It may be tough if it’s raining or if you have a lot of luggage. However, I think it’s well worth it. Amenities are available next to the counter—you take only what you need—and you can also choose bath salts in your preferred scent. There is also a drink service, including Ehime mikan juice. There’s a supermarket within walking distance (bento boxes and prepared foods are inexpensive and delicious), so I bought side dishes for dinner there. The hotel also has about 2–3 microwaves. 　I was coming down with a cold and went looking for a drugstore, but it was a bit of a walk. Still, it gave me the chance to stroll around Uwajima’s castle town streets with their winding layout. Also, the nearby roads are somewhat dark, so I recommend heading out early (for check-in or shopping).

Time passed at a relaxed pace, and I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. The view from the window was absolutely beautiful. The grouper course was very generous in portion size, and every dish tasted exceptional. The warm hospitality also made me feel comfortable. My family said they would love to come again.

The building is a bit old, but the service, meals, and Onsen were all excellent. The staff’s warm hospitality made our stay truly wonderful. Thank you very much.

A typhoon was approaching, my partner’s dentures weren’t ready, and we set off on our trip with all sorts of worries. We were even told by a local stranger that Yunogo Onsen was far away. But thanks to Nishikien’s hospitality and the outstanding sukiyaki dinner, all those concerns turned out to be unfounded. The room was spacious, and we got plenty of exercise for our legs and back. They also kindly accommodated our personal requests, making it a very satisfying start to our itinerary. The sukiyaki at dinner in particular was incredibly generous—plenty of beef and vegetables kept coming, and the sauce was delicious as well. There’s none of that sad feeling you get at famous sukiyaki restaurants where you end up counting slices; without claiming any “premium grade,” it simply tastes wonderful. Thank you for a lovely time that helped us overcome a rough start.

I couldn't have breakfast due to my early departure, but I appreciated the nutritional drink and nougat provided.

The guest lounge was very convenient and great! Tea, coffee, ice, and miso soup were available 24 hours a day for self-service, which was extremely helpful. Also, since it is attached to a roadside station, I was able to have breakfast there as well. I would like to stay here again!

This Ryokan is located in the center of Takachiho, with convenient access to all sightseeing spots. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes, and both dinner and breakfast were so filling that we ended up eating until we were completely full. The hospitality was warm yet attentive, making for a truly relaxing stay. We would love to stay here again.

This is a top-tier resort hotel that makes the most of its stunning lakeside location on Lake Biwa. I chose the plan with lounge access (breakfast service), and it was absolutely the right choice. This stay was for work, but if I have the chance, I’d like to choose the same plan again next time with my wife. During my stay, we were blessed with great weather and I was able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the lake. It even made me wonder if Oda Nobunaga once looked out on the same view from Azuchi Castle.

This was my first stay here, and I felt thoughtful attention to detail throughout, making it a very comfortable experience. First of all, the location—right in front of Kyoto Station’s Hachijo Exit—is extremely convenient. Even with large luggage, getting around was easy, which was a huge help on this trip. Inside the Hotel, the lobby is spacious and there is also a guest-only lounge, which I really appreciated for relaxing. The lounge is accessed by tapping your Room key card, and there is a wide variety of drinks available—not only coffee but also options like matcha latte—free to enjoy. You can even take drinks back to your Room, and I was surprised that the lounge could be used even after check-out. It’s a wonderful service that lets you relax until the very end. And what I especially loved this time was the large public bath. It was kept very clean, with thorough cleaning and well-stocked amenities. During my stay I used it three times—in the evening, at night, and in the morning—and it was pleasant every time. You bring towels from your Room, but just in case you forget, spare towels were prepared at the entrance as well. I really appreciated this kind of consideration for those “small inconveniences.” I felt this is a Hotel that not only has excellent Facilities but also pays close attention to every detail so guests can enjoy their stay comfortably. I liked my stay so much that I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

We stayed as a family to celebrate a special anniversary. The Hotel’s location, the staff’s polished service, the Room interior, the Facility offerings, and the view were all outstanding. The food and drinks served in the lounge were delicious and thoughtfully selected in just the right amount—perfect for relaxing comfortably rather than rushing to eat and drink. It was a one-night stay that left our whole family completely satisfied. When we visit Kobe as a family, this will likely be our only choice.

As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Donguri Captain”—please allow me to share a few ideas with heartfelt appreciation: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge is truly special. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more memorable experience. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic and welcoming game arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where both adults and children—across generations—could have an amazing time together! 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer. Having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests throughout the year and generate even more buzz—I’m confident it would be a great success. Of course, I fully understand that your staff’s working environment and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you might keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of “how wonderful it would be if this became possible.” With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your entire team—I truly believe you will continue to be the region’s undisputed number-one Hotel. Dinner featured an abundance of fresh local ingredients and seasonal Yamagata specialties, and I was impressed until the very last bite. Breakfast was also varied and delicious, leaving me fully satisfied from the morning. The staff who served the meals were attentive with perfect timing and clear explanations, making it a truly luxurious experience. Not only the cuisine, but also the refined atmosphere of this long-established Accommodation, the thoughtful hospitality, and the spacious, open-air bath (Onsen) were all outstanding—everything exceeded my expectations. I felt completely refreshed in both body and mind. Thank you for the wonderful meal; I will definitely return.

This was my first time staying at an all-inclusive Accommodation, and I was able to enjoy the meals without any worries. There was an excellent selection of sake, and I enjoyed tasting a little of each with my meals and in the lounge. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I also appreciated being able to enjoy small conversations with them. The Room was spacious, clean, and well stocked with amenities, so I had a comfortable stay from arrival to departure. The only disappointment was that the weather wasn’t great, so I couldn’t do the stargazing I had been looking forward to. It gives me something to look forward to on my next visit.

We stayed with a toddler and had a wonderful experience. It’s a very child-friendly Hotel, with a great play area and plenty of amenities for kids. The breakfast and the meals in the tea room were also delicious, and we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very attentive as well. Thanks to you, we had an enjoyable trip. Thank you very much. When we travel to Kobe again, we would love to stay here.

This place came highly recommended by locals, so we chose it for the final stop of our trip. The room was amazing—one night wasn’t enough, and I’d love to stay again in the season when they light the fireplace-style stove. The wonderful service was truly soothing as well. I also caused some trouble at the front desk due to my own misunderstanding, but they handled it with great sincerity, and I’m deeply grateful. As for dining, after a long journey my stomach was a bit tired, and since we had lunch around 3:00 p.m. on the day of check-in, I was disappointed that we couldn’t fully enjoy the restaurant as I’d hoped. However, I learned that we could also use it as a bar, so we were able to relax with wine and snacks at our own pace. Needless to say, breakfast was delicious. I don’t like carrying lots of luggage, so I usually choose hotels with coin laundry—and this one has it too—so next time I’ll stay for multiple nights.

This was our family’s third stay. Thank you again for taking such great care of us. As always, the property was very clean and we had a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the complimentary drink bar, which we could use freely; the selection changes between morning and evening, so there was plenty to choose from and we could relax and enjoy it. At dinner, we were surprised by how large the abalone was, and we truly enjoyed such a luxurious meal. Our whole family had a wonderful time again, and we were very satisfied. This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied with this friendly Hotel. It is a wonderful Hotel where I would definitely like to stay again next time. I was happy with everything—service, the Room, the view, the atmosphere, and access—but above all, the breakfast was delicious across the board and left me completely full from the morning. They also helped arrange a surprise for my partner’s birthday, which truly moved us. We look forward to staying again next time.

I wanted to invite my mentor, who has supported me for many years, to my absolute favorite Accommodation, and we had a wonderful stay. A Room with a beautiful ocean view through large windows, a spacious open-air bath where you can truly relax, carefully prepared and delicious meals, and the thoughtful hospitality of all the staff—everything was outstanding. They were completely satisfied and deeply impressed, and I am truly grateful that I invited them. No matter when you visit or whom you bring along, this is an Accommodation you can trust without hesitation.

I was looking for an Accommodation to stay at an Onsen during Silver Week while touring by motorcycle, and chose this Hotel because it had such high Review ratings. It turned out to be the perfect choice—I’m truly glad I stayed here. The Room was spacious, spotless, and had a great view with an amazing open feel. Even the water in the Room tasted great. The Onsen after relaxing in the Room was wonderful—especially the open-air bath. The hot bath temperature was so comfortable I could have stayed in forever. I was also surprised by how large the indoor bath was, almost like a pool. The washing area was clean as well. The buffet meals offered a wide variety of dishes with well-balanced flavors, and I could enjoy both breakfast and dinner at a relaxed pace in a quiet atmosphere. The domestic beef teppan-yaki for dinner was tender with just the right amount of fat—refined and delicious—and really showed how high-quality the dining is. While many Hotels these days have lots of foreign staff at the front desk, that wasn’t the case here, and I found the service very pleasant. With excellent Onsen, food, and well-equipped Facilities throughout the building, this is an Accommodation I would recommend to many people.
