I stayed here at the end of my trip to Hokkaido. The places I stayed before were wonderful as well, but this Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel was outstanding. Every dish at the buffet was delicious. I wanted to try more, but I got full and couldn’t eat everything, which I still regret a little. The kamameshi rice was especially good, and the meat was excellent too—in fact, everything I tried tasted great. When I went to the Onsen early in the morning (just after 5 a.m.), I saw staff baking bread. I had some at breakfast, and it was also very tasty. The moor Onsen had a gentle natural scent and a wonderfully silky feel on the skin; one night wasn’t enough. This time I couldn’t take my time sightseeing around Tokachi, so I would love to come back again next year. More than anything, what left me with such a great impression of the Hotel was an employee at the souvenir shop “Tamatebako.” The trainee wearing a training name badge had an amazing smile and provided excellent service. When I told them how pleasant they were, they responded with another lovely smile. Of course it comes down to personal qualities as well, but it also made me feel that the Hotel’s management philosophy must be excellent for staff like this to grow here. All of the other staff were wonderful too, and it reminded me that not only the Onsen and food but also people’s hospitality is what truly shapes a trip. Thank you for helping me make such great memories—I would like to stay again next year as well.

For quite some time now, I’ve been staying here about once a month. The moment I step inside, my mind switches from the everyday to something extraordinary. I keep coming back because I want to feel that shift. The Room and the meals are flawless, and above all, the quality of the sauna relaxation room is exceptional. To be honest, I like it so much that I almost hesitate to write this—because more people might find out and it could get crowded. The service is also impressively attentive every time—exactly what you’d expect from a top-class Hotel. It feels well worth the price. And most of all, the quiet here is wonderful. There aren’t many places where you can truly unwind and return to yourself in peace. For me, this is genuinely my third place. I hope to keep coming at least once a month for years to come… which is exactly why, if I’m being honest, I kind of hope it doesn’t get too busy (laugh).

This is a perfect Ryokan with meticulous attention to every detail. The building is beautifully maintained, and the finishes and Facilities feel refined. The Onsen is excellent, and the amenities are well stocked. The meals are delicious, served on beautiful tableware, and satisfy both taste and presentation. Drink prices are reasonable as well. The location is close to Yubatake, making it easy to enjoy a stroll around the area. I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

The staff were very polite and pleasant. On the day of departure, I was unsure whether to put my luggage in a station coin locker or ask the hotel to hold it, and I didn’t say anything. However, the front desk kindly asked, “Would you like us to store your luggage after check-out?” so I asked the hotel to keep it. When I returned to the hotel, I ordered the Nagasaki Café Set in the lounge. It included small portions of local specialties—castella cake and milkshake—so it wasn’t too heavy and was just the right amount for me. The atmosphere was calm, and I could relax. The room was clean, with separate bath, sink area, and toilet. The bed was very comfortable—I ended up sleeping past my planned time. From the window, I could see the “Kamome” Shinkansen. Since my feet were tired from sightseeing, I was happy there was a hot bath facility. However, there were only four washing stations; it would be better to have at least around seven. Also, it closes early (10:00 PM), so I wish it were available until around 11:00 PM.

I’m a returning guest, and every time I’m impressed by the excellent service from the front desk staff. Of course, the location is great, but I also love how clean everything is, including the Room, and how well maintained it feels down to every detail. I also like that each Room is categorized by its theme color. Thank you as always.

The sparkling Hamamatsu night view spread out below was breathtakingly beautiful and made our stay feel special from the very beginning. From check-in through the next day, the staff’s warm hospitality and perfectly balanced attentiveness were a true model of service, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time with complete peace of mind. Throughout the Hotel, music-inspired motifs were thoughtfully incorporated into details such as elevator décor, door handles, and buttons. Spotting them was a delightful little discovery each time and helped us fully immerse ourselves in the Hotel’s unique atmosphere. With the night view, service, and design all in perfect harmony, it was an exceptionally satisfying stay.

We stayed on the day of the September fireworks. As always, the hot springs were wonderful, and the room was clean. You can freely change your yukata, and there are even plastic bags in the large public bath to store what you’ve taken off. These may seem like small details, but they create a sense of comfort and luxury. The service at the dining venue was also excellent. When we arrived, all dinner slots before the fireworks were already full, so our meal overlapped with the fireworks and we were saying how disappointing it was that we might not be able to go see them this time. Before the fireworks started, however, a staff member kindly asked us: “For guests who would like to go watch the fireworks, we can pause your meal for about 30–40 minutes while you’re away. At which course should we stop serving for now?” Thanks to this thoughtful arrangement, more than half of us dining in that same time slot—including us—were able to go down to the beach and watch the fireworks. This is exactly the kind of hospitality you never forget. Thank you very much.

I believe this was my second stay. The Room and the in-room bath were both spacious and very comfortable. With coffee, water, and other amenities provided, I was able to relax in the Room. The toiletries, such as lotion, were also well stocked. I was especially impressed that I received water again on the second night. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit different preferences. The salad was fresh and delicious as well. The sausage I had on the third morning was so good that I regretted not having it on the second day too. This time I had work during the day, so I didn’t have time to use the lounge facilities, but next time I’d like to come for sightseeing and take it easy. It was very convenient—I could easily get to the restaurants inside the station area, and the subway station is also close by.

With an in-room open-air bath, in-room dining, and even having the futon laid out for us, everything was taken care of and we could truly relax. The large public bath was great too! The food was delicious, and the room was nicely divided into a sofa/window-side area—so we could switch between this side for meals and sleeping, and that side for relaxing while looking at the sea. The retro fan matched the vibe of Yamato-kan’s red roof perfectly and really made us feel like we’d come to the seaside (lol).

My first long-awaited trip to Hagi, and this Hotel stands in a quiet town. Nothing flashy—simply the best in the most classic way. Every dish was delicious, and all the staff were kind and charming; my spouse and I were truly impressed. The bath was excellent as well. Above all, everything was spotless and impeccably clean down to the smallest details. We also appreciated the warm send-off at departure.

I actually made a mistake with my Reservation this time, and only realized it at check-in, but the staff handled it so kindly that it really helped. I felt terrible because it was my fault, and I’m truly grateful. Everyone at the Hotel was very pleasant, which also made my impression of the Hotel even better. In any case, it’s so close to the station that it’s simply perfect. The Room layout also feels relaxing. I think this is a great Hotel when you want to take it easy and enjoy a slow staycation. I always look forward to breakfast when staying here, and once again the selection did not disappoint. The Japanese-style side dishes were delicious, and the Sanuki udon was excellent as well. I was also happy they had green juice. Overall, it felt like a health-conscious menu. The dining area is spacious and bright, which is nice. One downside is that the Room slippers are not disposable. There’s no note saying they’ve been sanitized either, so I wipe them down with disinfecting wipes I bring with me; having something like a sanitizing spray would be appreciated. Other than that, the Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. When you take the elevator down to the first floor, there’s a café right there as well, and guests receive a discount there, which was a nice perk. There’s also a convenience store just steps away on the same floor. Both are close enough to reach without an umbrella even in the rain. In that sense too, it’s a very convenient location. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby (including in the station building), which makes exploring fun as well. They also have laundry facilities, and during the day it seems fine to open your laptop and work in the breakfast area—so for business travelers on a Multiple Night Stay, this might be an especially good Hotel.

We made a same-day Reservation for a family of four, and were truly impressed by the warm, attentive hospitality. The Ryokan has a wonderful sense of history and is beautifully maintained, making our stay very comfortable. Located right next to Izumo Taisha Shrine, we were able to visit early in the cool morning, enjoy a delicious local breakfast at the Ryokan, and take our time shopping afterward.

Having enjoyed my previous stay at Bizan Kaigetsu, I chose Naruto Grand Hotel Kaigetsu this time. As it was the last day of Silver Week, I was able to relax and spend a peaceful time in a calm atmosphere. The warm hospitality from the staff, the bath, the Room (thank you for the upgrade), the welcome drink, the meals, and every other Facility—everything was outstanding. The food was delicious across both fish and meat dishes, and I especially enjoyed the morning salad as well as the seafood chazuke and rice bowls. Chatting pleasantly with the staff during dinner also became a wonderful memory. Whenever I visit Otsuka Museum of Art, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for such a lovely time.

Sorry for the late review. I always search for and stay here when I come to Tokyo because I prefer a bathroom with a separate washing area. Most of all, even with lots of luggage, it’s great not having to worry about the weather—the entrance is inside the station right after you exit the ticket gates. Although it’s close to the station, the room is quiet and comfortable. There’s a bus stop right in front of the property, and not only convenience stores but also a supermarket just a short walk away, so it’s easy to find food and do shopping (including 100-yen shops). With prices rising these days, there are times when it can be hard to afford depending on the season, but I’ll continue to stay here.

I came to Sapporo again after summer, this time to enjoy the autumn foliage. Since it’s close to the station and I arrived by rental car, I chose Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo as I was looking for a well-appointed hotel with parking. With the greenery of the Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens right in front and Rokkatei’s main store just across the street, I was very satisfied with the convenient location and spacious, relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly. The air conditioning could be set exactly as desired, and having the bath, toilet, and sink in separate areas made for a very pleasant stay—especially with the large bathtub. As for amenities, since it’s a dry season, it would be nice to have moisturizing cream or similar items. At breakfast, you can enjoy an impressive selection of Hokkaido specialties such as grilled dishes, sushi, soup curry, zangi (Hokkaido-style fried chicken), and jingisukan (grilled lamb). Everything is delicious. There are also crispy croissants and a strawberry yogurt drink; for sweets, they even prepare a Halloween-themed pumpkin Mont Blanc right in front of you. With fruit and cakes as well as plenty of both Japanese and Western options, I was extremely satisfied with this excellent breakfast. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Sapporo.

Thank you for taking care of us during our summer trip to Shikoku. Before dinner, we were able to watch a live demonstration of straw-seared bonito, and it was truly delicious. The bath was also spacious and very relaxing. We didn’t know until we arrived, but this is a historic and prestigious Accommodation, and every staff member who assisted us was courteous and attentive. We booked the guided walking stay Plan, and the next day we visited ponds associated with Ryoma Sakamoto while walking. The explanations were thorough, making it a truly memorable experience.

This was my first time staying at Storyline, and I was extremely satisfied—the place was very clean and the location was great! I usually stay at large Hotels, so I was a little worried about the Facilities, but after staying here I had no issues at all. When making my Reservation, I shared my Room preferences, and you prepared a Room that perfectly matched my request—I was truly delighted!! Both the building and the Room were carefully cleaned and felt very fresh and spotless. Breakfast wasn’t the typical buffet style; instead, we could put whatever food and drinks we wanted into a basket and eat anywhere in the Hotel. It was my first time experiencing that, and it was so much fun! My once-a-year reward trip turned into something really special!! I’d love to stay again next year! Thank you so much!!

In Izu Nagaoka, in addition to the large public bath and the semi-open-air bath in the Room, there were as many as five private family baths, making this Accommodation an unforgettable one for a bath lover like me. Of course, I used the large public bath, sauna, and in-room bath, and also tried the family baths, but due to time constraints I could only manage three. Every bath was very relaxing. There were four massage chairs, and perhaps because they were free they were extremely popular (lol). All of the staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you very much.

We stayed here on a couples’ trip. The welcome pizza was incredibly delicious, and even though we asked for seconds many times, the staff kindly baked fresh pizzas for us each time with a smile. Thank you very much. Perhaps because there were many families with children, our bathing times didn’t overlap, so even though we used the bath several times, we never shared it with anyone and were able to relax as if it were private. This was my fault, but the pizza was so good that I ate too much and ended up leaving some of my dinner, which I felt sorry about. I thought it would be nice to have an option with a smaller dinner portion. The dessert contained peaches, and when I declined due to my allergy, they offered to prepare an assortment of seasonal fruits instead. Since I’m allergic to fruit in general, I had to decline as well, but I truly appreciated their thoughtful consideration. Breakfast was also very delicious and satisfying. We would definitely like to stay again.
