We stayed with our children and grandchildren to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Not only was the Facility beautiful and wonderful, but all of the staff were kind and greeted us with warm smiles, which made our stay very pleasant. Thank you very much. However, our grandchildren got extremely excited and were quite noisy during meals, so if we made other guests uncomfortable, we sincerely apologize… To everyone who stayed on the same day—sorry! Our grandchildren seemed to have a great time as well, and our whole family was very satisfied with our stay… We’re sorry—and thank you again. It was a Hotel we’d want to visit again and again.

As mentioned in the reviews, the staff at the accommodation were very considerate, and the accommodation itself, with its 100-year history, provided a relaxing and leisurely experience. Meals were served in the room with a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed them. However, the "Sennin Bath" being mixed-gender made it uncomfortable for women to enter. As noted in reviews, there seemed to be men lingering near the entrance, which was disappointing. On the other hand, we appreciated being able to reserve a private bath that was spacious and enjoyable.

As a returning guest, I’m impressed every time by the wonderful meals and the staff’s hospitality. I truly enjoyed the rich, flavorful cuisine, and I deeply appreciate the staff’s thoughtful care. This is an Accommodation I want to visit again and again. Thank you.

Welcome drinks included coffee, soft drinks, and delicious onion soup. In the evening, wine and snacks were also available. The meals were served buffet-style and were satisfying. It would have been nice to have condiments on the table. The room and bath were well-cleaned, making for a comfortable stay. This is one of the accommodations I would like to revisit.

I stay here about once a month. The staff and everyone I meet at the Hotel are very kind, and I always enjoy a comfortable stay in the Room.

All the staff were incredibly cheerful, which made for a very pleasant stay. The building feels a bit old, but it seems to be well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The baths are also clean. While I was using the large public bath, a staff member came by to check on things and even cleaned up what looked like fallen leaves. I stayed two nights with breakfast and dinner included, and there was such a wide variety of dishes that I never got bored—everything was delicious and very filling.

It was the weekend right before the Obon holidays, so every Accommodation was expensive and I was looking for somewhere affordable. Since it was cheap, I didn’t have high expectations, but it was clean, the shampoo and other amenities were POLA, the room size was just right for a solo stay, and I was satisfied with the breakfast curry and bread. I was able to park at a nearby parking lot for only 600 yen. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again when I visit Kitakyushu. Thank you very much.

It’s been a long time since I felt this kind of excitement. I was truly fulfilled by the meticulous, sophisticated design—much like how I felt when staying at Le Royal Monceau in Paris. The service struck the perfect balance, and the high-quality, distinctive room atmosphere and design made it genuinely relaxing.\nBeyond the guest room, the large rooftop jacuzzi we used at night was wonderful, and the garden beside the first-floor restaurant—with its towering palm tree—was also superb. It’s impressive to see it maintained to this level.\nEven after about 20 years, this standard is remarkable. This is exactly what people mean by a Hotel you’ll want to return to. My sincere thanks to all the staff who must work hard every day to keep everything so well maintained.

This hotel is located along the Kinugawa River. We stayed here on a family trip. The private open-air bath was wonderful, and we were able to truly relax. There were maple trees, so I enjoyed imagining how beautiful it must be during the autumn foliage season! We also used the large public bath, and the views and sounds of the river made for an outstanding setting. You can use it even late at night during your stay, so if you have plans, you can enjoy the baths without worrying about operating hours. Both dinner and breakfast are served in a private dining room, so I highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and recover from everyday fatigue!! The staff were very kind as well. We would love to stay again—thank you very much!

I stayed in a room with a ceramic open-air bath. In front of us was a quiet beach after the swimming season. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, but the calm Seto Inland Sea—shallow and constantly changing—was very beautiful. At high tide in the middle of the night, the sea came right up to the road in front of the inn, creating an impressive scene you don’t often get to see. Dinner was heartfelt, homemade Japanese cuisine with an exceptionally large number of dishes, and I really appreciated the thoughtful presentation and tableware. If I could ask for one thing, I think reducing the number of items slightly and putting more cost into the main ingredients would create a menu with clearer highlights and make it even more appealing. As for the room, it had a practical layout leading from the vanity area to the shower room and then to a comfortable semi-open-air bath with a ceramic tub that was just the right size, so I had a very pleasant stay. However, it was disappointing that the sliding toilet door was extremely heavy; adding rollers would be an easy renovation that would make it much easier to use. Also, whatever fragrance is used in the elevator may be difficult for guests who are sensitive to chemicals. Keeping it clean is important; if any scent is added at all, something very subtle—such as light aromatherapy or a small sachet—would be better. There were beautiful fresh flowers arranged in the tokonoma alcove in my room, and all staff members were cheerful; I felt warmth that you can only find at a small inn like this. Finally, beds are much appreciated for elderly guests. The room is spacious enough that with minor remodeling it could become a lovely twin-bed Japanese-Western style room—and if so, I would like to stay here again.

Due to high hotel prices in Kurashiki on Saturday, I stayed at this accommodation and traveled by train. The money saved on the hotel allowed me to enjoy a more luxurious dinner in Kurashiki. The room was more spacious than expected, and the bed and pillows were excellent. Although I arrived early, they kindly stored my luggage, and the free parking was very helpful. The customer service was also great.

I stayed here three times in one year. It’s my favorite Accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful stay in a quiet location. The hostess and her husband are so friendly and warm, and I looked forward to every visit. The food is always truly delicious. This time I stayed for two nights, and I was deeply impressed by how thoughtfully they changed the dishes each day. Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the sea was also wonderful! The shared spaces were kept clean and comfortable as well. After traveling around Ehime Prefecture over the past year, choosing this place again at the end was absolutely the right decision. I will definitely be back. Please take care of yourselves and stay well. Thank you very much.

The plumbing and bathroom facilities are new, the Room is spacious, and the linens are clean. It’s close to the station yet quiet, and while it’s not a brand-new building, I’m very satisfied. There are also many great izakaya nearby. Next time, I’d like to try the vegetarian restaurant on the second floor.

The Hotel staff, cleanliness, and meals were all outstanding. About 70% of the guests seemed to be international visitors, but the team provided warm, attentive hospitality. Breakfast was delicious as well. Both Japanese and international guests can feel at ease—more than that, I think you’ll have an amazing stay. Highly recommended.

I travel out many times throughout the year. I was truly won over by how delicious the food was here. The rice was cooked perfectly! Ayu sashimi (my first time), salt-grilled ayu (the seasoning, grilling, and timing of service), and even the soup—everything was flawless. From now on, your salt-grilled ayu will likely be my benchmark for taste. This may sound presumptuous, but I believe it’s simple dishes that really show a chef’s skill. The yukata in the Room were crisp and nicely starched, so even someone like me who doesn’t usually like yukata could wear it comfortably. I also appreciated the detox water after bathing.

The entire hotel, including the room, was spacious and clean, and I was able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. This was my eighth business trip to this area, and it was my first time staying at your hotel. Unlike other hotels I have stayed at before, not only was the room excellent, but the staff were also very courteous. The lobby was spacious as well, and even when I took a short break there, it felt very welcoming. I have one request. Because of my work, I stay at hotels in many different regions, and they all provide shower caps for women. During this stay I needed one, so I asked the front desk, but I was told they were not available. For that reason, I gave 4 stars. Since you may also have female guests staying with you, I would be grateful if you could provide them if possible. I will be traveling here again next month for business and plan to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

This was my first trip to Hokkaido. I stayed for several nights to celebrate the birth of my eldest son’s baby and to meet my grandchild. They accommodated a late check-in, which I really appreciated, and the amenities next to the front desk were plentiful. The breakfast menu changed from day to day, so I enjoyed it on the second day as well. In particular, I loved the seafood rice bowl where you can add as much of your favorite toppings as you like. All of the staff were pleasant, and I had a very comfortable stay. It would have been even better if the changing area had been a bit more spacious.

We chose this property for our road trip because of the parking options and the spacious Room. There is a large multi-story parking garage at Urban Plaza about a 3-minute walk away, so we didn’t have to worry about not being able to park. The Room and bed were both spacious and comfortable. With a car, it was reasonably priced and conveniently located for sightseeing, so we were very satisfied.

I used the Club Lounge Plan on a solo trip. I’ve stayed at several Hotels with lounge Plans, but this one is truly special. It felt like a dream to enjoy champagne anytime at such a great sale price. From the welcome drink and fu-yaki rice crackers to the sweets box, everything served at each presentation was excellent. Since it was a weekday, the lounge was not crowded, and there were counter-style seats where I could sit alone, so I felt comfortable using it. The Room (AQUA) was also wonderful with its blue-themed design, and the bedside lamp was adorable. When I opened the Room door, there was a Lake Biwa view. The weather was perfect, and I spent hours just sitting on the couch and enjoying it. There is a large public bath, but the in-room bath was spacious and more than enough. I didn’t have a car, but it’s only two train stops from Kyoto. There is also Shuttle Service available, and if you go one stop on the Keihan Line, you can visit Mii-dera Temple to see National Treasures and various Buddhist statues. I would love to stay again.
