Hamanako Lakeside Plaza

Staying here has become our annual summer tradition. Ever since our kids were 3–4 years old, “summer” has meant the lakeside pool, and we spend two full days playing nonstop. The pool gradually gets deeper, so when they were little we could play together in the shallow area, and now we can sit in the shallows and keep an eye on them as they swim. The slide is also a favorite with our kids. The guest rooms are built like apartments, so in midsummer it feels like “Outside?!” right after getting off the elevator—but for us that’s part of what makes it feel uniquely lakeside, so it doesn’t bother us at all. If anything, it makes us think, “Ah, we’re back at Lakeside again this year.” You do have to go outside to get to meals and the baths since they’re a bit farther away, but even that is something our family enjoys. We’re always satisfied with the food, and the baths feel absolutely wonderful. We come every year because there’s nothing to complain about. Every single Hotel staff member is pleasant—after nearly 10 years of staying here, I truly think they’re outstanding. Our kids are older now but still say they want to come again next year!! We’d love to keep staying here for many years to come.

We have stayed here once or twice a year for about the past 13 years, and it has become a cherished family tradition. This time as well, during the May holiday period, the three of us stayed (Japanese-Western style room with dinner and breakfast included), and we returned home extremely satisfied with the consistently reliable service.Even amid challenging changes in recent years—such as rising prices—we can see the tremendous effort being made to maintain both service quality and pricing.We sincerely hope you will continue providing this Accommodation as a place of relaxation for us, and we strongly wish you continued growth and success.Thank you very much.
