Hatsuhana

This was our first stay at Hatsuhana.The building and room style matched our taste, and the reservable private bath, the open-air bath in the room, and the location and views were all wonderful.We were also very satisfied with the meals. The service was excellent, and we felt truly cared for through the drink service and in-room amenities—it was incredibly relaxing. We have stayed at many ryokan considered “luxury,” but among all the hot spring ryokan we’ve visited so far, this is our top choice.We have already made reservations for next month and the month after.If there is one thing that could make it even better, it would be having a bit more hot water available to adjust (add) to the bath. We hope you will continue to be such a wonderful inn. We believe it is thanks to everyone who supports this property.We also felt that your management policy is excellent.

We decided on a hot spring trip at the last minute on the first day of a three-day weekend and made an urgent booking. The property was almost fully booked, but it seems there was a cancellation, and luckily Hatsuhana became available, so we were able to reserve it. I had informed them in advance about foods my wife cannot eat, and they were very considerate, which was a great help. The portion sizes were just right as well. The view from the window was full of nature, and we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath, the private bath, and the large public bath—they were all very relaxing. This is a place we would love to visit again. Thank you very much for your hospitality. It’s not a big issue, but while I checked the coffee maker instructions on my phone, it would have been even better to have a printed copy as well.
