Kamenoi Hotel Atami

We stayed as three generations. We made a Reservation for three Rooms: a baby Room for our young grandchild, a Room with an open-air bath for us grandparents, and twin Rooms for our two daughters. There happened to be a fireworks festival during our stay, and we were able to enjoy an amazing display—such a wonderful memory. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was replenished quickly so nothing ran out. We love traveling and have stayed at many Hotels, but this Hotel is one I would definitely recommend. Free baby food was available, and there was also a kids’ buffet set up so small children could easily help themselves. I think it’s a Hotel where both adults and children can have a great time.During the Reservation process, I made a mistake that caused trouble for the Hotel, but they supported us in many ways and we truly appreciate it. Thank you very much. We would love to visit again.

We stayed on the last day of Silver Week with four family members, including my elderly mother. We made a Reservation for a Room with four beds, including an extra (sofa) bed, so we expected it to feel a bit tight—but there was no need to worry at all. The layout made it feel spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably. We didn’t use the in-room bath, but it was designed so you could enjoy the view from the bathroom as well, and it was clean and lovely.The large public bath had a very spacious indoor tub with pleasantly hot water. The showerheads were ReFa, which made my daughter happy. Since it happened to be rainy on our first day, we couldn’t really see the outside view from the semi-open-air bath, and we could feel a bit of rain falling from above—but soaking while enjoying the scent of wood and feeling the outdoor air through the wooden lattice had a wonderful atmosphere.Dinner was a buffet including a Hawaiian fair, with such a wide variety that we ate too much. Sashimi, steak, Hawaiian dishes, pineapple pizza, assorted marinades—everything was delicious. The colorful mini donuts in the sweets corner caught everyone’s eye—adults and kids alike—and they tasted great too.At night… I was amazed by how beautiful the night view from our balcony was! I even thought that steep drive up by car must have been for this view (lol).The next morning brought great weather, and we were able to take wonderful family photos on the balcony with Atami town and the blue sea in the background.At the souvenir shop next to reception desk area ,the woman at checkout kindly explained products to us. I’d been curious about Kamenoi Manju (box of 8), so after hearing her explanation I bought one to try. The box looked rather plain… so I wasn’t sure… but once we tried them they were delicious! Kind of like a fun blend of Western and Japanese flavors (lol). If you’re visiting soon, I recommend giving them a try.Lastly, perhaps because I mentioned in advance that we would be traveling with my elderly mother ,we were given Room near elevator ,which we truly appreciated.It was wonderful being able to treat my parents during Silver Week—we had such an enjoyable trip filled with great food.Thank you very much .We’d love to visit again .
