Expected a quiet time, but the stay was unsettling.

The location, building ambiance, rooms, and Onsen were all excellent, providing a peaceful environment surrounded by nature. The architecture and views met expectations, and the facilities were very satisfying. However, there were significant disappointments regarding the service during our stay. In the room above us, it seemed that small children were running around from morning until night with loud noises resembling furniture falling over. From as early as 7 AM, it felt like a noisy sports event was taking place. At the restaurant during both breakfast and dinner times, constant shouting and crying from children made it difficult to enjoy meals in a calm atmosphere. The staff showed no signs of addressing or managing this situation; it felt more like a family restaurant than an accommodation of this price range. This was my first experience at such an accommodation accepting young children where staff took no action whatsoever. Additionally, at breakfast check-in when asked for our room number by a male staff member, he did not greet us politely but instead loudly repeated our table number multiple times to another staff member who seemed unable to hear him clearly—this left quite an unpleasant impression. After finishing breakfast and returning to our room before 9 AM, we found cleaning supplies lined up in the hallway with cleaning staff moving back and forth—it gave off more of a Business Hotel vibe than expected. Overall while aspects such as location or facilities exceeded expectations ("hard" elements), operational management along with hospitality ("soft" elements) fell short leaving much disappointment behind. Having chosen this Accommodation based on high ratings on IKYU.com confidently beforehand—the experience turned out underwhelmingly disappointing due partly perhaps coinciding alongside large groups traveling w/ infants-toddlers alike disrupting tranquility sought-after originally intended rejuvenation purposes ultimately unmet unfortunately!
