It was my first stay...
It was my first stay in a while. I always book with lounge access. Even though they are light snacks, I always look forward to the delicious food and sweets, and this time the mini burgers were especially great. The only disappointment was that they didn’t have the pecans I liked so much I used to buy some to take home (lol). The long-time male staff member with a shaved head was, as always, working briskly, and his consistently pleasant service is something I appreciate every time. As for Facilities, it was also my first time using Yamano Beauty Wellness Salon, and both the staff and the treatments were excellent (and it’s great that there is a guest discount). Personally, two things I would like to see are extended gym opening hours and allowing entry to the 27th-floor view lounge without an entry time limit (even if food and drink still have time restrictions). I understand renovations are currently underway, so I’d love to visit again once everything is in place.

So clean and beautiful!
I expected Friday-night stays to be pricey, but for this Room it felt almost too cheap. This time I attended a festival at Ariake Garden. The Yurikamome Line wasn’t crowded and the trip was smooth. However, after the festival most of the shopping complex was already closed, so finding dinner was a bit difficult. Luckily there was a convenience store. There were also some places still open, so it might be worth checking in advance. The Room’s size and cleanliness were both excellent. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance. There were many international guests, and there was an oriental kind of scent in the air—lol.

Wonderful hospitality.
We stayed on the Executive Floor for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights. First, we used the gym. It was convenient that we could use it even before check-in (free as an Executive Floor benefit). After working up a sweat, we were able to freshen up since there was also a bath, and then checked in feeling refreshed. Checking in while enjoying tea in the lounge was especially appreciated after the gym. As it was our wedding anniversary stay, we received a surprise gift of sweets. That thoughtful gesture made us very happy. When staying as a family of three, it often ends up being an extra bed, but all three were regular beds, so we didn’t have to decide who gets what—thank you. We also loved the view; since we’re aviation fans, seeing the airport and planes taking off was fantastic. Even though it was during the Obon holiday period, cocktail time didn’t feel overly crowded, and we could relax and chat as a family. The hors d’oeuvres were plentiful in both quality and variety, and there was also a wide selection of drinks. There were cocktail recipes too, so my adult daughter and I had fun making them together. We had such a wonderful time that our whole family became big fans—we even made our next Reservation while still staying there. For breakfast we went to the 30th floor; both Western and Japanese options were excellent along with the buffet. Even during our Multiple Night Stay, the cake selection, cocktail-time hors d’oeuvres, and Japanese breakfast items (fish) changed from one day to the next, so we never got bored. The weather wasn’t great, but between joining studio classes at the gym and relaxing in our Room or in the lounge at this Hotel, it turned into an ideal staycation. All staff members were truly pleasant—from the lounge to reception to room cleaning—and everyone would always stop with a smile to greet us. It really felt like Nikko quality. We’re very much looking forward to our next stay.

Check-in, check-out, cleanliness
From check-in to check-out, the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. As it was our anniversary, we fully enjoyed a stay on the Executive Floor. The Room was very clean, and the view from the window was wonderful, making it a truly memorable anniversary.

Family Obon Holiday
We stayed here when our eldest son came home to visit. The views and the sushi set breakfast on the top floor were excellent.

The staff’s hospitality is truly top-notch!
We had a wonderful stay. Every staff member greeted us warmly, and their lovely smiles helped make our time truly special. The view from the Room was great, and it was clean and well maintained. Having four bottles of water provided was very helpful. At breakfast, sushi was available, which felt unique—and it was absolutely delicious. Next time, we’d like to visit on a sunny day. We’d also love to use the lounge on our next stay!

Club Lounge Hopping
The Room was prepared early, so we were able to relax in the club lounge. In the calm atmosphere, my daughter made this recommended summer cocktail for us, and it had konpeito candy in it—it was very delicious. The lounge on the 28th floor had a great view, and we could also watch the fountain show. Since the bathroom in the Room had the sink and toilet together, I went to the fitness area instead and enjoyed a long soak in the bath. The best part of this stay was breakfast. We went to Sushi & Shabu-Shabu on the 30th floor. At the counter, we enjoyed a wonderful view and delicious food, and the chef was very pleasant—making it a lovely breakfast time. I would like to visit again when I want to relax.

This is the quintessential Japanese Hotel.
This Hotel’s Facility is not new, but the rates are reasonable, many of the staff are Japanese, and I think it is a very good Hotel where you can feel the pride of Japanese hospitality. The food is especially delicious. This time I had Club Floor access, and it was truly very comfortable. Next time I would like to stay for about a week.

At the breakfast venue
I had stayed here quite a long time ago, and this time my family had plans around the Odaiba area, so we booked an Accommodation with Club Lounge access. The Club Lounge was a relaxing space even with small children, and everyone was very accommodating. They also kindly helped with storing our luggage at checkout and other small requests, so overall we felt we had a very pleasant stay. On the other hand, the restaurant. What left a particularly strong impression was the breakfast restaurant. We had breakfast in the restaurant behind the bar; while the buffet selection felt somewhat limited, I thought the quality of the food was good. However, I witnessed what seemed to be a male manager with gray hair speaking to a female staff member in her 20s (I think) who was clearing tables behind us, saying something along the lines of: “Don’t you look more like a girl today? I think you should always do it like that—you’re cute.” The staff member looked unsure how to respond and quickly walked away. It was an extremely tasteless conversation—exactly like an old-fashioned “Showa-era” man—and something that would not be out of place as an example of what *not* to do in compliance training at any company that provides proper employee education. My impression was that this is a restaurant where someone at a supervisory level would speak loudly enough for guests to hear without concern. Since he continued walking around smiling afterward, it seemed likely this is normal behavior for him. From time to time in Japan, I encounter hotel manager-level staff (often seemingly over 50) whose service makes me question things—does this generation have some kind of issue? Hearing conversations like that can undermine perceptions of quality across the entire Hotel, so I think they should be trained that if they want to talk like that, they should do it in back-of-house areas only.

Thank you for your support.
Thank you for upgrading us to a Room on the Rainbow Bridge side. Everyone was thrilled—the view was amazing. For breakfast, we went to Garden Dining on the first day and Tamakagari on the second day. The buffet had a great variety of dishes and was delicious, so we were very satisfied. The shabu-shabu at Tamakagari was also excellent. The bath, toilet, and sink were all in one Room, but the layout was well designed—spacious and easy to use. We received two bottles of water per person per day. Many Hotels provide only one per person, and when we run out we sometimes end up boiling tap water to drink, so we really appreciated this. My husband stayed here for the second time in about 10 years, while the other three of us were visiting for the first time. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

We stayed here to celebrate my partner’s birthday.
Room: Having a separate shower booth was nice. I wondered if the building might be old, but it was clean. It wasn’t very spacious, but we could even see fireworks over the sea from the window. However, the view from the window included a large portion of the neighboring wall, which really bothered me. I wish I had been told before check-in... I honestly would have liked to change Rooms, but my partner doesn’t like requesting a Room change, so I didn’t say anything. Since it was my birthday, I would have preferred a Room where that wouldn’t be an issue... Dining: The sushi breakfast was quite good! Watching the chef prepare sushi right in front of you at the counter also felt like an enjoyable performance. The club lounge had a great selection too—four kinds of craft beer to choose from, and even Kido sake. Spa: The pool wasn’t very crowded, and it was especially quiet and comfortable the next morning. The baths were also uncrowded, and having them in-room was helpful. Service: Every year I stay at different Hotels for my birthday, and I mentioned in advance that it was my birthday—but this was my first time not having any message or note in the Room, which felt oddly refreshing... lol That said, I did think it might have been nice to have at least a short message (sorry if that sounds entitled).

Club Stay in Peak Crowds
I stayed on a weekday because there was a good-value Plan for the Club Floor. Before arrival, I emailed to ask whether you could suggest a Room with a better view for an additional charge at check-in. However, no suggestion was offered and I had to ask myself, which made it seem my request had not been shared. That said, the Room you later proposed had a view bath and a wonderful view of the Rainbow Bridge and the industrial area. The entire Room was clean, and I also appreciated that everything in the refrigerator was complimentary. Regarding the lounge service, during cocktail service there was a long line for food. Guests lined up face-to-face to access the buffet board. Since the plates were not very large, it took multiple trips—and rejoining the line each time—to try several items, which took a lot of time and felt far from the intended purpose of relaxing. As a result, it seemed some guests were also waiting just to enter for cocktail time. Staff repeatedly asked guests in loud voices to leave their seats once finished. It felt unusual to hear announcements directed at everyone during hotel cocktail time; however, since the lounge already lacked an exclusive atmosphere this time, it did not feel out of place. Depending on occupancy, measures such as adding another buffet station may be necessary. As for the food and drinks themselves, they were neither particularly good nor bad compared with other cocktail times. For breakfast we ate at “THE GRILL ON 30TH.” The wait was over 30 minutes. Because it was noisy around us, we missed our name being called and ended up waiting even longer. I chose the Japanese set meal; there were also many buffet items available and everything was very tasty. Breakfast was so good that we came back on another day for lunch. Since this stay included an Accommodation credit Plan, we went to “Lobby Café” the next day—only to find another line already formed. Some items (such as cookie tins) were sold out, and even bread was sold out as well. Because I had informed reception in advance, they kindly handled checkout after my purchase, which helped. Checkout felt rushed; I planned to have a drink in the lounge at that time but was refused. At several hotels where I have stayed before with lounge access during checkout hours، staff actually recommended having one last drink—so being turned away this time came as quite a shock.

Seeing my friend happy made me feel happy too.
Thank you very much for having us two weeks in a row. We also received plenty of delicious Chiran tea, and we truly enjoyed the wide variety of tasty snacks during cocktail time and desserts at tea time. My friend was able to unwind from the stress of work and living with others, and kept saying “I’m so happy…”—she was absolutely delighted. She was also surprised by your thoughtful souvenir gift for her. Thank you very much. I was happy to see my friend so happy as well. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I stayed with friend...
I stayed with friends after a concert at Toyota Arena. It was my first stay in over 10 years. The building is undeniably old, but the view from the 15th floor was great and the night scenery was beautiful. With breakfast included at this price, it was very good value for money. The breakfast wasn’t anything special, but there was a decent variety and both Japanese and Western options were good. The coffee from the machine was quite bitter even as a café latte, so I added hot milk. One disappointing thing was that the washbasin area was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. It’s very convenient after concerts, so I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

Staying overnight while visiting my son in Tokyo
We stayed here for our first grandchild’s Okuizome ceremony, as it was close to our son’s home. The Rainbow Bus runs from Shinagawa to right in front of the Hotel, which made the location very convenient. The concierge noticed us right away and spoke to us, and although we arrived a little early, they guided us to our Room—something we truly appreciated after a long trip. The Room was a good size and well equipped with amenities, a Nespresso machine, mineral water, and more; we had no complaints at all. That said, the lever-flush toilet and the bath showed some signs of age, but everything was clean and well maintained. We also used the Chinese restaurant for lunch; it was spacious with a calm atmosphere, which we enjoyed. It seems there is no lunch service on weekends, so it ended up being a bit pricey. We chose a Plan with breakfast included and were glad we could choose from four venues such as sushi or buffet options. When we are in the area again, I think we will stay here again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Recommended for sightseeing in Odaiba
Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay. The front desk staff provided truly excellent service, but there were quite a few small mistakes, so I’d like to note them for future improvement. I understand they were in training, so some of this may have been unavoidable. First, one of the two Room key cards did not work. After we got to the Room, we called and had it replaced. Next, our Reservation included breakfast, but at check-in we were told that breakfast was included only for adults and that children would be charged separately. Since I wasn’t fully aware of the Plan details, I assumed there would be an extra charge; however, when we went to the restaurant, we were told that breakfast for the child was actually included as well. Lastly, I requested a bed rail for a child via message at the time of Reservation. During the explanation at the front desk, we were told it could not be used for an elementary-school child / a 6-year-old. In my message I had also noted that we have a 2-year-old and wanted it for that child only. If it was difficult to provide or use one, I think contacting us in advance would have avoided confusion on both sides. I know training involves learning lots of new information and handling guests can be demanding, but I hope they can keep going without overdoing it. We used 30th Grill for breakfast; unfortunately, one plate (near what seemed like a vegetable gratin) still had residue that likely hadn’t been fully washed off. The in-room hair dryer provided under this Plan had weak airflow, so if you want to dry your hair quickly, I recommend bringing your own. When we asked staff members for directions and such during our Odaiba sightseeing trip, they explained everything clearly and kindly—we really appreciated their help. If given another opportunity, I’d love to stay again.

The service isn’t bad, but the value for money is not great.
First time staying here. I arrived well before check-in, so I had lunch at the café. I ordered pasta and coffee. I thought I was only ordering coffee after the meal, but it came with a set soup and salad, which was a great deal. However, the chilled pasta had hardened and was extremely difficult to serve. Even trying to take a small portion, it tangled up and about one-third came with it. The flavor also lacked contrast, which was disappointing. No coffee refills. Check-in was smooth as staff spoke to me right away, but I was surprised there was no escort to my Room. The Room honestly felt old. It gave the impression that damage on the furniture had simply been painted over. It didn’t feel like items were carefully maintained and used. The bathroom shower diverter was hard to understand, so I hesitated for a moment. Two towels each felt a bit few for women. They were also thin. At this price range I expected bathrobes, but there weren’t any, and I regretted not bringing loungewear. Amenities were sufficient. The view from the Room was excellent as expected—open and airy. The night view was beautiful. I also appreciated having plenty of complimentary bottled water. Usually it’s just two 500 ml bottles, but there were six! It’s also worth noting that in addition to coffee etc., there were LUPICIA teas and herbal teas. For dinner I had reserved a table in advance, but when I looked closely there was an Accommodation-guest-only course discount. When I asked, they said it applied even for one person—2,000 yen off is a good deal. The food tasted fairly standard. If I come again, I might try ordering à la carte instead. I had some drinks; compared with Hotels in central Tokyo they were slightly cheaper. When I ordered beer first they almost took away the menu—I asked them to leave it since I planned to drink more. Maybe part-time staff? The younger staff seemed a bit awkward—but earnest. Checkout is at 11:00, which feels a little early. Since the lunch restaurant opens at 11:30, you have time to kill—and that’s when you notice how small the lobby is. It’s a fairly large Hotel overall, but there aren’t many places to sit. The front desk is close too, so it feels slightly uncomfortable. Lunch… wasn’t great either. Various things happened afterward as well, but since they’re specific issues I'll refrain from mentioning them here. That said, I was surprised to be told that Reservations made through IKYU do not receive any parking discount service. Hopefully that was some kind of mistake. Honestly speaking، compared with similarly priced Hotels in central Tokyo، usability and service tend to be better—maybe this is simply categorized differently as an urban resort? The location is good though، so if given another chance I'd like to stay again.

The lounge seating w...
The lounge seating was arranged with plenty of space, making it very relaxing. The in-Room drink service was also great, and there were small sweets as well, so we enjoyed spending time in the Room. Above all, the breakfast was delicious and the view was wonderful, so we were very satisfied. The staff around the front desk, in the lounge, and at breakfast were all excellent. In particular, the attentive service and friendly conversation from a male staff member in the lounge left a fantastic impression. If possible, it would be perfect if guests could use the lounge for about an hour after the 11:00 check-out to help adjust time before their next plans.

It was a bit disappointing.
This was my first stay in a Standard Twin (not on the Club Floor) in quite some time. Unfortunately, the entrance and other areas were under construction until November. Most of the shops I was looking forward to were also gone, which was very disappointing.

The view is excellent.
I stayed in a 27th-floor corner suite on a weekday. The view was wonderful. From my Room, I could also see the fountain at Tokyo Aqua City below, and the combination with Rainbow Bridge was spectacular. However, even on higher floors, most Rooms likely cannot see the fountain because it is blocked by the H Hotel next door. The Room overall shows its age, so it does feel dated. There are two shower nozzles, and adjusting the temperature can be a bit tricky. As for the club lounge, I felt the selection of food in each section was extremely limited, and refills seemed slow. I also think the closing time is early. Perhaps because it was a weekday, the club lounge, view lounge, and breakfast venue were all quiet and perfect for relaxing. That said, I noticed that some Hotel staff seemed less experienced and appeared unsure when answering questions, so I am slightly concerned about how things might be during busy periods.

The solo traveler Plan was great.
I stay here every year, but this time I was traveling alone, so I used the Solo Plan. Upon arrival, the convenience store and bakery near the entrance were closed and the area was under construction, which made me a little uneasy. However, there was no construction inside, and everything felt as usual, which was a relief. I checked in at the lounge, enjoyed some tea, and then headed to my Room. I visited the lounge during tea time and cocktail time. If you want to fill up here, it may feel a bit limited, but it was more than enough for taking a break while enjoying the view from the large windows. For dinner, I used my Hotel credit and the fruit platter included with the Solo Plan and ordered Room service. When I mentioned that I wouldn’t be able to have breakfast the next morning, they told me I could use that amount toward dinner instead, which was very helpful. The Facility is showing its age, but it is well cleaned. Since I’ve stayed many times before, I had no issues with convenience or comfort. I think this is an excellent Plan for relaxing on your own.

The stately feel of the corridor on the accommodation floor was as impressive as ever, and it was pleasant walking from the elevator to my Room. This time, my Room was on an upper floor. The Room was spacious, and although I had a Multiple Night Stay, I was able to relax and rest comfortably. Thank you very much.

Mr. Executive Lounge
Both the facilities and the staff were top-class—an outstanding Hotel. Every staff member’s dedication and politeness came through in their service, making our stay truly comfortable. In terms of receiving hospitality that exceeds the room rate, I think it offers the best value for money in Tokyo. In particular, the gentleman in the Executive Lounge (the person on the right in the photo) was exceptional—his conversation, service, and cocktail-making skills were all truly first-rate, adding even more value to our stay. He kept an ideal distance while attentively looking after every guest. I give five stars to him for making us feel glad we stayed here and eager to return.

Club Lounge
This was my first time staying at the Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba. I chose a Plan with club access and was especially looking forward to cocktail time in the club lounge. However, during cocktail time, even when the food ran out, it was not replenished for about 20 minutes, and there was a long period when there was almost nothing available. Although I paid for a Plan with club access, I could not fully enjoy the food, which was very disappointing. The Hotel itself and the staff were excellent, but I feel there is room for improvement in how the club lounge is managed. If you are booking with club access in mind, you may want to make your Reservation with this in consideration.

We had a very relaxing stay.
A spacious Room with a very comfortable bed. Since it was on a high floor, the view from the Room was wonderful, but the night view of Rainbow Bridge from the top-floor bar was especially stunning. The pool I used as a guest benefit also felt like it was all to myself, so I could relax and enjoy it without worrying about others—very lucky. To celebrate my birthday four days ago, I stayed here after an opera and used the Executive Floor for the first time. The exclusive lounge was comfortable and relaxing, and the staff were kind—it felt like an even better reward than I expected. Thank you very much.

It was the best stay!
I booked because there was a great-value Plan available, and I was assigned a Room on the 28th floor. That alone made me happy, but everyone was truly kind both at the front desk and in the executive lounge. All of the food in the executive lounge was delicious, and even though I don’t drink alcohol, I still enjoyed a variety of soft drinks and options like decaf Nespresso Pro. In my Room, I enjoyed the welcome food included in the Plan, relaxed in the bath, and then opened the curtains to look at the night view before bed—only to find it was exactly a full moon. Feeling almost like it was too good to be true, I savored both the full moon and the city lights. At breakfast, there wasn’t any notice about Eggs Benedict that I had seen online. When I asked, I was told it was available, so I ordered it for an additional fee. I’ve had Eggs Benedict in many places before, but this was easily among my top three—both in flavor and how perfectly soft the yolk was. I’m really glad I didn’t forget to order it. I was also shown to a table with a wonderful view for breakfast, which made for a very relaxing meal. I was also happy to use the Hotel credit included in my Plan to get something I’d been curious about for a long time: “Original Decaf Earl Grey Konpeki.” Thank you very much for your hospitality. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at again!!

A Relaxing, Blissful Staycation
I stayed with a friend. The view from our Room was wonderful, and even though we were in central Tokyo, it felt like a resort getaway. The coffee in the lounge exclusive to the Kumaland Floor was delicious, and both the sweets and light meals were excellent—everything exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed a little alcohol and spent a relaxing, special time together as two women. We were able to fully enjoy the fountain show from the 27th-floor Panorama Lounge, and the view from the 30th-floor restaurant the next morning was refreshing; breakfast was also very good. We left the Hotel promising each other that we would come back again.
