We stayed in a double Room for two. The Room was a bit small, but it was clean. The large public bath was smaller than expected, but it wasn’t too crowded, and there was also an open-air bath, so it was comfortable. We were surprised by the ice cream and probiotic drink after the bath—it was a nice service. We would like to stay again if we have the chance.

We stayed here to celebrate a special anniversary. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. We were able to relax very comfortably. Having a coin laundry on-site also helped us have a great stay. The canal was nearby, and the location was perfect for a walk. I’m glad I was able to purchase the hotel’s Travelers Notebook goods. It became a wonderful memory for us.

This was my second stay.\nThe all-you-can-drink alcohol and juices available right after check-in, along with unlimited snacks and sweets, truly make it a paradise for relaxing. Since it’s adults-only, it’s quiet with a great atmosphere. The property was spotless and well maintained, and the meals were delicious.\nI’ll definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

I had booked for June and was really looking forward to it, but due to flight cancellations caused by a typhoon I couldn’t make it (thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful support at that time). I’m truly glad I was able to visit this October. It’s already autumn where we live, but Okinawa still felt like summer—the cicadas were singing, and we enjoyed a slightly late summer vacation. Even though we checked in late, the private pool and jacuzzi were pleasantly warm even at night, so we could relax and enjoy them at our own pace. The morning pool time was also wonderful—the landscaping was beautiful, and the scent of shell ginger was so soothing. The room was very convenient with a microwave, washing machine, refrigerator, and a hot/cold water dispenser. I also appreciated the drip coffee provided; it would be even nicer if there were Okinawa-style tea bags such as goya tea, turmeric tea, or sanpin tea. The staff were very kind as well. When we mentioned we were going to Kaichu Road, they recommended the soft-serve ice cream at the Nuchima-su factory and Kafu Banta. The soft-serve looked beautiful in two colors (blue and white), had a delicious salty flavor, and the view was incredible—absolutely perfect. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

The building is beautifully maintained, and I was truly moved by its smart design that still feels warm with natural wood. The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed having plenty of both fish and meat. The Hotel staff were always smiling, and it was a pleasure communicating with them. I came for lunch five years ago and had been dreaming of staying here ever since—my wish finally came true. Thank you so much; I’d love to come back again!

The seafood-based French cuisine that makes the most of Awaji Island’s bounty was delicious. We also appreciated the pairing suggestions for those of us who can’t drink much—truly what you’d expect from an auberge. All the staff were kind and welcoming, which was wonderful. The view of the Seto Inland Sea from the terrace and the sea breeze you feel across your whole body are truly soothing. There is no Onsen, and we wished the pool were a bit larger, but that’s not something easily changed. If we had to mention one thing, we would be happy if there could be a bit more space between tables at dinner, or if other tables were less in our line of sight. Even so, despite it being high season, both my husband and I had a very pleasant stay. We would love to visit again.

Although we work within the prefecture, we rarely have the chance to visit Hondo in Amakusa, and this trip finally made our wish come true. The staff were welcoming and made us feel comfortable with their warm smiles. The meals were delicious, and both the flavor and portion sizes were just right. When people think of Amakusa, they often imagine seafood, but there were also meat dishes, with a satisfying blend of Japanese and Western elements. We are originally from Osaka, and I’m sorry to say that we’re not fond of Amakusa’s sweet soy sauce. Especially for sashimi, we prefer Kikkoman soy sauce. We truly appreciate that you kindly accommodated this request. The room was very clean and relaxing, and we were able to unwind at our own pace. We also enjoyed a long, leisurely bath. Thank you very much for helping us make such wonderful memories—we would love to visit again.

The staff were courteous and guided us smoothly upon entering the lobby. The Room was a comfortable size, and it was kept very clean. The location is just off Kumamoto’s shopping arcade, so it’s easy to explore the area even at night. It’s also within walking distance of Kumamoto Castle and tram stops, making it very convenient for sightseeing. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including several local Kumamoto specialties. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights), and we appreciated that the menu changed. One point to note is parking. The affiliated parking lot is a bit far from the Hotel and comes with an additional fee. If the parking lot across the street could be used instead, it would be more convenient for guests traveling by car. Overall, this is a Hotel you can choose with confidence for sightseeing or business in Kumamoto.

We arrived early and really enjoyed taking our time soaking in the group’s open-air baths—it was wonderful. The hotel’s indoor bath was also spacious and comfortable. Our room had a lovely atmosphere with a great view, and it felt very refreshing. One small downside was that the heat-insulating film on the glass seemed to have deteriorated, making it look slightly cloudy.

This is my second stay. The staff, the cleanliness throughout the property, the bath, and the Room were all very comfortable. I also love the atmosphere—it really feels like Nagata, or Osaka. The location near the station and the excellent access are perfect! I will definitely stay again!

We stayed for one night from July 27 with two families. From the gentleman on the parking staff at check-in, to the young man in charge of our Room, and even the shop staff, everyone provided warm, friendly service that made our stay truly comfortable. In particular, my son became very fond of the staff member in charge of our Room and still proudly displays the letter he received at check-out. Thank you so much for being so kind to him. The Room was spacious, the view from the window was wonderful, and every dish was delicious. The Onsen had excellent water quality, and my skin felt smooth after bathing. Guests of many different age groups were staying there, and after experiencing it ourselves, we completely understand why. It’s a wonderful Accommodation where anyone can relax and enjoy their time. We also appreciated the complimentary Onsen eggs and “a little beer” service, which helped our whole family have a great time. We would love to visit again.

I stay here about once a month. The staff and everyone I meet at the Hotel are very kind, and I always enjoy a comfortable stay in the Room.

The parking lot was spacious and free, and the room was clean. I can see why the breakfast gets such great reviews. Considering the price, I was very satisfied. We were allowed to take the welcome drink up to our room, and the coffee was delicious. Amenities were set in the room, and extra items were also available in front of the elevator. I would love to stay again if I have another opportunity.

Thank you always for your wonderful hospitality. While many Accommodations have changed before and after COVID, I can truly relax with peace of mind knowing the quality here is consistently the same whenever I visit. The cuisine delighted my eyes, satisfied my palate, and deeply moved me. The hot spring was excellent, and the Room was exceptionally comfortable. This time, for the first time, I encountered deer and wild boar and felt the mystical power of nature as well. Thank you for such a wonderful escape from everyday life. I look forward to visiting again.

Just before the September three-day weekend, I suddenly decided to take a trip with a friend and hurriedly found this ryokan. Since it had availability, I wondered if I shouldn’t expect too much (sorry!). But I quickly realized I was wrong. The hot springs were great, the food was excellent, and the hospitality was wonderful. On top of that, the bar on the first floor was fantastic. They played my favorite records for me, and I was able to relax and enjoy a peaceful time. My friend—traveling for the first time in over 20 years—was thrilled, saying they never imagined spending such a lovely time like this! The footbath we went to at night also felt amazing!! We’ll be back!

Although it was a stay at the end of summer, it became the perfect finale to our summer vacation. The Accommodation was spotless, the Room was spacious and comfortable, and the view of the Tenryu River from the Room was outstanding. The dining was also highly refined: themed as “Tenryukyo Jukyo,” inspired by Tenryukyo’s “ten delights,” it offered a wonderfully satisfying course in both quality and quantity—from soba at the start to grilled eggplant, snow trout sashimi, grilled eel-style carp, ayu sweetfish, filet meat, and shiso sorbet. It rained on the day we stayed, but by the next morning it held up enough for us to take about an hour-long walk along the river before breakfast. The scenery from the suspension bridge is an irreplaceable beauty. I felt this is an Accommodation where everything—Facility, service, meals, and location—is exceptional. Next time I would like to visit during the autumn foliage season.

I’ve stayed in many places, but this was the best. The Room was clean and well maintained, and the front desk staff were very polite and attentive. There are no meals provided, but they kindly recommended nearby restaurants. I definitely want to stay here again.

It’s a wonderful Hotel. The cleaning was thorough, and the breakfast was delicious. There are plenty of shopping options nearby, and we were able to relax in a lovely Room. All the front desk staff were very kind—almost to the point of making us feel undeserving. We will visit again.

The entire hotel, including the room, was spacious and clean, and I was able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. This was my eighth business trip to this area, and it was my first time staying at your hotel. Unlike other hotels I have stayed at before, not only was the room excellent, but the staff were also very courteous. The lobby was spacious as well, and even when I took a short break there, it felt very welcoming. I have one request. Because of my work, I stay at hotels in many different regions, and they all provide shower caps for women. During this stay I needed one, so I asked the front desk, but I was told they were not available. For that reason, I gave 4 stars. Since you may also have female guests staying with you, I would be grateful if you could provide them if possible. I will be traveling here again next month for business and plan to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

Upon arrival, we were promptly shown to a sofa in the airy, open-atrium lobby and checked in while being served a chilled hand towel and tea. Like the guest room with its wooden floors and white walls, the entire property features a simple, calming interior throughout—an inviting space to truly unwind. Above all, the dining was outstanding. The ingredient-focused Italian cuisine far exceeded expectations and was genuinely authentic. The full-service Western-style breakfast was also thoroughly satisfying. Thanks to the staff’s warm hospitality and high level of professionalism, it was a wonderful stay. The round trip took two full days just for travel, but it was absolutely worth making the journey.
