I always have a comfortable stay here. This time, I was on the 4th floor, and it really helped that there was almost no step between the unit bath and the room. I’ll be happy to stay again. Thank you very much.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The Room was clean. The unit bath was surprisingly spacious, with a cute orange accent color. The pillow had a unique feel and was comfortable for sleeping. The parking lot is free and spacious, making it easy to park. The coin laundry was cashless via an app, which was very convenient. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit the Fukui area.

We arrived in the evening and chose the plan with two meals included. The only convenience store within walking distance is a Lawson about 10–15 minutes away. Since you have to cross a national highway at night, it feels far. We were glad we added meals. The carefully prepared dishes were unique both to look at and to taste, and we really enjoyed them. I definitely recommend adding meals. We went early in the morning to Ritsuunkyo, came back for breakfast, rested in our Room, and then hiked up Takeda Castle; being able to take breaks along the way was great. This is a recommended Accommodation. Since it is an old traditional house Hotel, I would not recommend it to those who cannot enjoy an older building or who expect perfect Facilities.

Each room has a private indoor bath and an open-air bath. You can choose premium ingredients for the meals, but even the standard ingredients are exceptionally delicious—especially the dashi. The menu changes with the seasons, and the seasonal kaiseki cuisine is outstanding.

We stayed for one night to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. All the staff were always smiling, and their service was polite and attentive, so we had a very comfortable and enjoyable time. Upon arrival, we were shown to a private room next to the lobby, where we enjoyed some tea and sweets while choosing yukata. The lobby also had books and a souvenir shop. On the rooftop terrace there was a footbath, and we could truly relax while looking out over Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains. We didn’t use them this time, but there was also a table tennis room (paid) and a kids’ room. The view from the open-air bath in our Room was amazing—I ended up soaking three times: on the first evening, at night, and again after breakfast on day two (haha). It seems they can also adjust the set temperature of the open-air bath upon request. In addition to the shower next to the open-air bath, there was also an indoor bathroom in the Room. I was happy that the hair dryer in the Room was ReFa. We had both dinner and breakfast during our stay. Both meals were served in the same private room we were shown to upon arrival. Dinner started at 18:00, and breakfast could be chosen between 8:30 or 9:00—great for someone like me who isn’t good at waking up early. Dinner included dishes such as salt-crusted grilled spiny lobster as well as lava-stone grilling of Kanagawa beef and Ashigara beef, which made it really fun. Both dinner and breakfast were truly excellent, and my girlfriend was very satisfied. The large public bath wasn’t very big, but it wasn’t crowded at all—we were able to bathe almost privately most of the time. The water was milky/opaque (nigoriyu), and my skin felt pleasantly soft afterward. I’ve been to Hakone several times, but it’s rare to find an Accommodation this good. We would definitely love to stay again. Thank you very much!

It’s neither particularly good nor bad, but it has all the basics and feels like an easy, casual place to stay. It’s also nice that there is a proper parking lot.

This Accommodation is highly recommended. The Room was clean and comfortable, and with the fresh greenery of the season, the semi-open-air Onsen was absolutely wonderful. The front desk staff were also very helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. The location and surroundings are excellent. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. Next time, I plan to choose the largest Room with an open-air bath.

As always, the staff were very helpful, and the room was well cleaned, so I had a comfortable stay. If I had to mention a few drawbacks: • Shower It is not a thermostatic mixer tap, so adjusting the temperature and water flow is inconvenient. The showerhead also cannot be temporarily shut off. I would like to see this improved. • Air conditioner Even if the unit is old, it’s fine as long as it works; however, I would like it to be able to run while I’m out (e.g., on a separate power supply). When entering the room, it isn’t at a comfortable temperature, which feels unpleasant. • Cups There are no standard drinking glasses in the room—only coffee cups and plastic bathroom cups. Please provide glass tumblers for beverages. I feel there used to be some before. • Breakfast The complimentary breakfast is curry only. Since the rice is delicious, I would appreciate simple Japanese side dishes such as eggs, natto, miso soup, or pickles as well. Having curry every morning becomes tiring. These are just my comments.

My wife and I visited from Kyoto. As it had not been long since the renovation, everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable one-night stay. The open-air bath in the guest room lets you fill it yourself—add cold water if it’s too hot, or add hot water if it’s too cool—so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Both the hot and cold water flow were plentiful, making it a truly stress-free Onsen experience that’s hard to find. The meals were also excellent; each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and I felt the chef must be very talented. If I had to mention one minor complaint, it would have been perfect if we could have seen Mt. Aso clearly from the bath, but I understand that can’t always be helped.

The property is conveniently located near the station, and the room was spacious and comfortable.

Surrounded by mountains, this Hotel is quiet and offers a relaxing, unhurried stay. At the front desk, you can borrow items such as soccer balls and badminton equipment. In summer, the indoor pool is also available, making it a comfortable choice for families with children to enjoy with peace of mind. The buffet felt slightly limited in variety, but everything tasted great and I went back for seconds several times. Depending on the season, there are also dishes featuring crab or abalone, giving the impression that guests of all ages can enjoy it. One small point to note is the shop: while there is a wide selection of souvenirs, there are fewer options for snacks and alcohol. You may want to buy those in advance at a convenience store or supermarket on the way. Also, because the building uses centralized air conditioning, there are no individual air conditioners in each Room. If you are sensitive to temperature changes, bringing lighter or warmer clothing may help you stay more comfortable.

I stayed here on the way back after picking up my family at Haneda Airport. You pass through the Grand-side lobby, but it was crowded and noisy with inbound travelers, so choosing this place was the right decision. With its location near Haneda Airport, a natural Onsen, spacious Rooms, and excellent hospitality, we were able to enjoy an escape from everyday life without leaving Tokyo. When it’s hard for the whole family to travel far, I’d like to stay here again as a mini getaway.

We stayed at Nino Kura with two adults and, at short notice, added one child (2 years old). We had both dinner and breakfast at the main house restaurant, and I was amazed by the dinner table setting. The menu listed the date of the day, and everything—from the plates and decorative plants to the cutlery—was thoughtfully curated. Dining in such a carefully crafted space made the meal truly exceptional. As I wrote in the title, it really felt like “God is in the details.” Breakfast wasn’t as showy as dinner, but the refined Japanese breakfast was comforting. It started with appetizers, and I didn’t expect dessert at the end!!! As for our Room, they prepared items for our child as well. These small touches made our stay very comfortable. The free-flowing Toi Onsen hot spring was also wonderful.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. Overall, we were satisfied with everything—the bath, the meals, and the service. We had a wonderful time. The in-room open-air bath while looking out at the sea was very comfortable. The large public bath was also very spacious and not crowded, so we could relax and enjoy it. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, and we enjoyed them very much—especially the grilled abalone and shabu-shabu. We deducted a few points because the parking lot is far away (which could be difficult in rainy weather), there are limited choices for meal times, the Room does not have an automatic lock, and noise from the hallway carries easily, but overall we think it is a great Accommodation that we can recommend to friends.

As always, the room was clean, and it was convenient to be able to adjust the lighting brightness with a remote control. It also helped that the TV angle can be changed electrically. The bathroom was clean as well, and the amenities were well stocked. It was very convenient to be able to view a camera feed from the room showing how crowded the breakfast venue was. The parking lot is spacious, and there are also places nearby where you can have dinner, making for a calm and comfortable stay. This was my third stay, and it has become my regular Accommodation.

This was my third stay. I was worried about road restrictions due to the heavy rain, but everything was fine. The meals were delicious, and there is a semi-open-air bath with a view of the fishing lights. I’m planning to visit by motorcycle next year.

Although we were a bit worried since it is the northernmost point, we were very satisfied with the environment and Facility that make effective use of nature. Thank you very much.

Having read the Reviews in advance, I was aware of what to expect, but my companion was very surprised by the contrast between the front desk atmosphere and the impression of the Room. The day-use bathing area feels lively like a busy public bathhouse, while the guest Rooms were calm and comfortable. Because we visited on a weekday, the large public bath was not crowded and very relaxing. The only thing that bothered me slightly was seeing someone brushing their teeth at the washing area. Even so, I was truly impressed by the abundant flow of free-flowing Onsen water straight from the source. When I visit around Nagano Station for work in the future, I would love to stop by again even just for a day-use bath. The Room was flawlessly comfortable, and the private indoor bath was very spacious. I was also amazed by how much hot water it had. Dinner was served in-room, so we could relax without worrying about others, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dishes with thoughtful touches. The staff member who served us was friendly and made it a pleasant time. At breakfast, it was also nice to be able to choose between rice porridge cooked with Onsen water and regular steamed rice. Please note that there are no amenities provided in the large public bath area (including makeup remover), so bringing your own is recommended. The in-Room amenities are also provided for one use (one day) only, so if you plan to bathe multiple times, it may be reassuring to bring extras. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay.

This was my third stay, the first in several years. I was truly impressed by the staff’s warm smiles, thoughtful and professional attention to detail, and outstanding hospitality that feels personal to each guest. Thanks to them, I enjoyed a comfortable 3-night, 4-day stay. All of the meals were delicious—the Japanese and Western breakfast options, sea bream chazuke, and the shabu-shabu dinner course. The portions were just right as well. I especially appreciated being able to enjoy everything in my Room. The drink service in the lounge and other touches were also very well considered. The Room was cleaned thoroughly down to every detail, making my stay very pleasant. I’d love to visit again before the new outlet opens next year (while Reservations are still available). I was concerned to find a small nail on the floor in the room, and dust had accumulated on the shoji frame. The room is compact but functional and convenient. At other Nono properties, there is a self-service coffee machine that anyone can use freely, but here only guests who pay for lounge access can have drinks. Perhaps because it was a weekday, the large public bath was not crowded, so I could bathe at a relaxed pace. After getting tired from walking around Osaka sightseeing spots, it was great to unwind in the hot spring.
