This year again, we spent our wedding anniversary in memory-filled Karuizawa. For us, this is truly a wonderful Hotel. With a typhoon approaching, we were worried the weather might turn severe, but the Hotel was so quiet and peaceful that we forgot all about it. Surrounded by delicious food and wine and the thoughtful care of the staff, we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. We plan to stay again in autumn.

This Hotel was truly wonderful, with breathtaking views of Hayama and the warm hospitality of the entire staff. In particular, the Misaki-caught longtooth grouper served at dinner was perfectly cooked by the chef and genuinely moving—its plump, tender white flesh and rich fat that melted in my mouth were unforgettable. With outstanding cuisine and exceptional service, it became a very special stay. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and a babymoon trip. In short, choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision! This time we used the maternity Plan. Since there are very few Accommodations that offer a maternity Plan, the moment I saw the Plan name I thought, “This is it!” and made a Reservation. When we arrived, the staff welcomed us, carried our luggage from the parking lot, and even provided welcome drinks and a thorough explanation—right from the start, their attentiveness was flawless. With only seven Rooms, the property was wonderfully quiet, and everything felt unhurried. The all-inclusive setup—being able to enjoy drinks and light snacks whenever we wanted—was fantastic. During bar time, my wife was thrilled to have non-caffeinated options and non-alcoholic cocktails as well. She even said, “Next time I can drink alcohol again, I definitely want to come back!” (laughs) Our Room was a stylish maisonette with a chic black theme. The open-air bath viewed through the large window—and the forest scenery beyond—was beautiful. We were truly grateful for all the thoughtful touches for my pregnant wife: a large maternity cushion on her bed, extra cushions prepared for her chair at meals, and more. Breakfast and dinner were satisfying beyond what you’d expect at an upscale restaurant. They confirmed in advance what my wife couldn’t eat and adjusted each dish accordingly. It was also fun hearing how it differed from the standard menu. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, they even prepared a lovely fruit platter with dessert at dinner—we were both genuinely moved. We skipped using the in-room open-air bath this time because there were many insects outside, but we thoroughly enjoyed the private bath whenever we liked. The lounge also felt incredibly open thanks to its high ceiling and large windows that let us take in nature. During bar time after dinner, when Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream was sold out, one of the staff kindly brought an alternative for us! We expected it would simply end with “Sorry, it’s sold out,” so we were touched by how far they went for us. And after checkout as we drove away by car، staff came outside waving goodbye with their arms raised—it was such wonderful hospitality that made us think، “We’ll definitely come back!” Thank you for such an amazing stay from start to finish! It became our best anniversary and babymoon ever۔ We’ll absolutely return once my wife can enjoy alcohol again!

I stayed at Banshokaku Shikishima again this summer while visiting my hometown, and once again I truly felt it is an Accommodation where attentive care and consideration reach every detail. All of the staff were extremely polite and kind, and I could really feel their warmth and compassion. The meals were very thoughtfully prepared, delicious of course, and left me completely satisfied. The staff who welcomed me at the front desk and in the parking area also assisted me very courteously, which made me feel great. I also remember seeing a staff member giving directions to another guest—explaining slowly, clearly, and with great care. This time as well, I am simply grateful for the warm support from the front desk staff when I was leaving. Thanks to you all, I was able to relax comfortably at my own pace and feel refreshed. I would definitely like to stay at Banshokaku Shikishima again next time too. To everyone on the team, I look forward to seeing you again someday. Thank you very much.

We were extremely satisfied with everything—the service, the meals, and the Room. Every dish was delicious, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The service was excellent as well and made us want to come back. It was hot this time so we couldn’t take a walk around the garden, but we’d like to visit again in a different season and enjoy a stroll through the garden. The food looked so good that we only managed to take photos of the appetizers.

We stayed for one night in Yayoi in July with our dog as a couple. We’ve stayed at many dog-friendly Accommodations, and this is the best one for us. I especially love sulfur Onsen, and while other dog-friendly Accommodations we’ve stayed at had Onsen, none had sulfur springs. Here, there is also a free-flowing natural hot spring bath in the Room, so we didn’t have to leave our dog waiting to go to a public bath. Even though many places don’t allow dogs in the bathroom area, this Accommodation provided a dog bathtub, shampoo, and towels—I've never stayed anywhere so thoughtful. Our senior large dog kept coming to watch us enjoy the Onsen with curiosity. Just walking through the spilled water from the free-flowing sulfur spring at the washing area turned his rough, cracked paw pads into smooth ones—just like the Reviews said. It’s truly an amazing Onsen. The Imabari bath towel after bathing was fluffy and very comfortable. Since it was a No Meals Included stay, we mainly brought takeout from Nasu restaurants. We also bought Nasu cheese and sausages along with drinks and snacks, and picked up bread and yogurt for breakfast at a nearby shop before heading to the Accommodation. With the best sulfur Onsen, delicious food and drinks from Nasu, a quiet setting, we were able to relax completely. Our dog also seemed very satisfied with the cool highland climate, peaceful greenery-filled surroundings, and private feel without running into other dogs—he looked truly relaxed. All of us were soothed by both nature and the Onsen and went home extremely happy. My husband said he wants to come again in winter too—so we’ll be making another Reservation. My spouse and I stayed for one night. It would have been even better if our Room had a sofa, but the bath was indoors and an Onsen, already filled for us. The staff member who guided us also provided a thorough and helpful explanation. The meals were wonderful both dinner and breakfast, and we truly felt pampered. Since we dined in a private room, we couldn’t eat while looking out at the sea, which was the only disappointment. We have stayed at many Hotels, but this had the best food of all. We happened to visit Shimonoseki this time and found this Hotel by chance, but next time we will travel specifically to stay here.

I’m glad I was able to stay at my favorite Accommodation again this year. The attention to detail in the food and the beautiful tableware are wonderful, and every time I feel relaxed and go home refreshed. I especially enjoyed the fish dishes—ones I’d heard of but never tried before. The hospitality was also thoughtful and attentive. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again.

Our family of five stayed here. The private pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and meals on the terrace were a big hit with the kids. We could also enjoy fireworks, making it a wonderful summer vacation memory. This was our second stay, and we would love to come again next year.

The free-flowing, continuously fed Onsen was wonderfully abundant, and each private bath had a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The cuisine was perfect for wine lovers, with rare wines to match. The interior design—and the lamps placed throughout—were all beautifully chosen. Right in front of the Accommodation, there is a row of cherry trees along the riverbank; I can only imagine how stunning the view must be during cherry blossom season. I won’t wait until then—I will definitely return again soon. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We made a Reservation to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was very calm, and it was so quiet and relaxing that we almost forgot we were in Dogo. The Onsen was wonderful, and we were amazed by the generous breakfast. We enjoyed a luxurious meal in the morning and then relaxed again in the Onsen. The hostess and all the staff provided outstanding service. We would love to stay here again.

I found this Accommodation while looking for a place with great food and made a Reservation. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and we were very satisfied! It also has great access to the two shrines and one temple, and with checkout at 12:00, we could take our time—being able to go out after breakfast and come back was especially convenient. We would love to stay here again when we visit Nikko. Thank you very much.

It was my first time back in Yufuin in about 40 years. It has now become a famous Onsen destination visited by many people, and since this Accommodation is located in an area popular with tourists, I was a little worried it might be noisy. However, once I stepped inside, a calm space opened up that made me forget the bustle outside. This time we stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. Perhaps because the building is relatively new, everything—including the shower room—was kept very clean and well maintained, and we were able to relax comfortably throughout our stay. The meals were also very carefully prepared, with an ideal portion size and excellent quality that even we, as an elderly couple, could fully enjoy. The staff kindly helped us choose drinks as well, and we enjoyed their recommended delicious sake. The location is outstanding too—right across from Snoopy Town and just a short walk to Lake Kinrin. We were fortunate to find such a wonderful Accommodation on our long-awaited return to Yufuin. It has become one of our favorite places to stay, and we would love to return again when we visit Yufuin. Thank you very much.

The free-flowing natural Onsen was amazing. In particular, the “Isaribi” Room with a scenic open-air bath was exceptional—soaking while gazing out at the ocean was truly special. I was also impressed to be served a whole grilled splendid alfonsino. The Room was very clean and comfortable, and my one-night, two-day stay left me feeling refreshed in both body and mind. A wonderful Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

We were completely satisfied with everything from start to finish. This time, we stayed to coincide with my eldest son and grandchild coming home. And on the day we checked out, we went ahead and made a Reservation for the following month to coincide with my second son coming home. In any case, we were completely satisfied with everything.

A foot-wiping towel was provided at the entrance, and we had a wonderful 3-day, 2-night stay—thank you to all the staff for their hospitality. They kindly accommodated our personal requests, and the team’s service—like that of a luxury Hotel concierge—made us feel we’d love to come back again next year. If I had to mention just one suggestion, there is a microwave on the lobby counter, and I would have liked to see a free drink dispenser placed nearby. The service and value for money are outstanding, so even if the room rate were higher, it wouldn’t be an issue at all.

Many of the staff are locals and have extensive knowledge about nearby facilities and the ingredients used in the cuisine, and they shared a lot with us. Of course, the Onsen was also wonderful, with fresh-flowing water. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

We were satisfied with everything—the guest room, the private open-air bath, and the restaurant. The retro furnishings in the room were truly comforting, and we were impressed by the thoughtful care in the meals. We enjoyed a level of luxury that exceeded the price. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again. The Hotel staff were also wonderful. As I get older, I find peace in an Accommodation like this. I hadn’t had many chances to visit Chichibu before, but this was an excellent Hotel as a base for visiting Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu Shrine, and Hodosan Shrine (the Chichibu Three Shrines pilgrimage), as well as sightseeing in Nagatoro. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hoto noodles at breakfast were especially amazing! The staff were very kind and provided great service. The building and rooms had a cute retro feel, which we really liked. The only downside was that the bathroom was a unit bath, but even so, it’s a Hotel we would like to stay at again.

We stayed at Sedona for our first trip with our dog. I had a general sense of the atmosphere from photos, but seeing it in person was truly moving. A spacious property with a wonderful building that feels like being abroad. The appliances and the little items in the Room were all stylish and adorable!! Above all, our dog was the happiest, going back and forth between the garden and the Room again and again. Seeing that made my spouse and me incredibly happy! It’s far, so we can’t come back easily, but we would love to return here again. Thank you very much for providing such an amazing Accommodation!!
