I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much. I plan to give her another trip as a gift once more within this year, and I would appreciate your kind support when that time comes.

I stay at about 10 Onsen Ryokan a year, and this was the best. Even the president came to greet us.

I understand the contactless check-in system introduced due to COVID-19, but as an older guest, I feel more comfortable with face-to-face assistance. That said, having both staffed and contactless check-in options is a good idea, especially when it’s busy. 　The elevator system for accessing the guestroom floors may be difficult to use until you get used to it. I saw someone who was having trouble. 　If possible, it would be nice to have a laundry service.

Maybe it was because of a sale, but I was really lucky to stay in a quiet, spacious single room for 6,800 yen just a few minutes from Kamata Station. There are plenty of restaurants around the West Exit, and the bathtub was large for a Business Hotel. The desk and TV were at a comfortable distance from the bed, which made it easy to work. Thank you very much—I’d like to stay again.

I visited this time as a birthday gift for my friend and myself, and it was a truly special place worthy of the occasion. Contemporary art is displayed throughout the property, reflecting the owner’s refined aesthetic and attention to detail. At the same time, the Room and Facility are very simple—nothing unnecessary—making it the perfect environment to savor Awaji Island’s slow, relaxed pace. What left the strongest impression was the cuisine centered around wood-fire cooking. Dinner was French yet wonderfully light, and their commitment to local production for local consumption came through in every dish. The young chef’s creative sensibility was outstanding—especially the sauces! In particular, an abalone liver sauce and a browned-butter sauce served with butterfish were exquisite; I kept dipping bread into them until the very last bite. Dessert was also a new experience: a melon soda made from fermented melon purée brought to a gently sparkling stage! Breakfast was equally superb, featuring enzyme brown rice aged for more than four days. The most moving dish was the clear soup. Even the fermented shrimp-, kelp-, and soy-sauce base used for it was homemade specifically for this meal. Throughout everything, their dedication to ingredients and natural use of fermentation made me feel energized from within. The sauna wasn’t overly hot, so even I—someone who isn’t great with saunas—could enjoy it comfortably, and that deep sense of release afterward felt like true meditation. All staff members were kind and friendly as well, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. Although it was an Accommodation stay, it felt like a retreat. My mind had been busy lately, but this visit helped me return to quietness in both heart and head—and regain my natural strength. It was a genuinely enriching stay.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Everyone at the Accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful! The meals at the Accommodation were beautifully presented and delicious—I was very satisfied. I was surprised that the drinks in the Room were free! I enjoyed having alcohol on the terrace to cool off in the evening, and drinking oolong tea after a bath, haha. In the morning, I made drip coffee using hot water from the water dispenser and spent my time feeling refreshed. The Room was also very clean, and the in-room bath was an Onsen. There wasn’t any mold at all in the bathroom. The grout was spotless, the faucets were shiny, and even the drain was clean. The large public bath was great too—the design is lovely. This time my goal for the next day was visiting shrines, so I went to Ishigami-san, Hikodaki Daimyojin, and Isawa Shrine. They kindly explained nearby roads and how to get around, which helped a lot. What’s more, even after I had checked out, they actually ran after me just to give me a taxi company phone number. Thanks to that, I could take a taxi when traveling from Hikodaki Daimyojin to Isawa Shrine and arrived an hour earlier! They also recommended a very kind taxi company, so the driver told me what preparations I needed for visiting Isawa Shrine as well—and I made it up safely! It turned into such a wonderful trip! I’d definitely love to stay again!

This trip was to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. The Accommodation was very comfortable, and all the staff were kind and wonderfully attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious; they were a feast for the eyes as well, and the dashi was so soothing—it reminded me how great Japan is. They also kindly adjusted the portion sizes for us, and even prepared a bowl of sekihan (red rice) soup for her birthday, which made my mother happy throughout our stay. This may be minor, but what delighted her most was being able to walk barefoot because the hallways were tatami rather than having to wear slippers (at her age she seems afraid of walking in slippers). She also appreciated that the tabi socks worn with the yukata had non-slip grips, that the bath temperature was just right, and that there was a stool at the sink in our Room—she was very satisfied with these thoughtful details. It is also conveniently located in Arashiyama with plenty to see nearby, making it a truly wonderful Accommodation. I’m very happy that my mother enjoyed it so much—it became a memorable trip for me as well. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

We stayed one night in a second-floor Room starting 2026/6/6. Our group was two adults, one 2-year-old, and one Pomeranian. The Room was stylish, clean, and spacious, and the private open-air Onsen bath was more than large enough. The water temperature was easy to adjust. Even though it was June, we didn’t notice any insects, and it was wonderful to be able to bathe 24 hours a day at whatever temperature we wanted. The only reason this isn’t a full 5 stars is the lack of a view (it didn’t bother us at all at night). We were surprised to find an indoor puppy area in the Room that’s big enough for light running. Also (in a good way), even though the Facility is extremely clean, dogs are allowed to walk anywhere as long as they’re on a leash. The vanity has double sinks and is very comfortable. There’s also a front-loading washer/dryer, so staying two nights or more would be easy. The shower room is very spacious, which made bathing our 2-year-old much easier. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances and tableware for cooking, but we ate out this time. Within walking distance there are great sushi places, buffets, loco moco spots, and an infinity-style scenic footbath with amazing views. Shirarahama Beach is about a 20-minute walk from the Hotel—an excellent location. Within about 10 minutes by car are Toretore Market as well as recommended yakiniku and pizza restaurants. They offer free rental of an outdoor wagon: we loaded our 2-year-old and our Pomeranian into it and walked to Shirarahama Beach. At night we went to a buffet about a 3-minute walk from the Hotel; after our child fell asleep we enjoyed Onsen time with drinks; the next day we bought delicious bread from the attached bakery Hotel before sightseeing. Thanks to all of this, we had an amazing holiday. We will definitely return—if I had to nitpick: - I would have liked a baby guard to prevent falls (we pushed the beds together and used pillows as a barrier) - I would have preferred an enclosed toilet room (this is also why it’s not quite full marks for the Room) We’ve stayed at many pet-friendly Accommodations before, but considering location and value for money, this was by far the best. We will absolutely come back. Apparently Rooms on the third floor have ocean views—next time we’d like to stay there.

We had been looking forward to staying at this Accommodation for a long time. As reputed, everything was spotless, and we were very satisfied with the Room—it was a bit more spacious and had a layout different from a typical twin. The ceiling height on each floor also felt relatively high, giving it an airy feel. We were able to enjoy the bath privately and relax. Both yukata and samue were provided, and we chose the samue. It worked well as sleepwear. The meals were just right for us since we can’t eat large portions, and everything was delicious. The location was also very convenient, and we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I visited again after three years to enjoy the full tiger puffer course. It is delicious every time, and I never get tired of it. The hassun, soup dish, and takikomi rice were also excellent, and I ended up drinking quite a lot again. Of course, the ara course and other courses are also very tasty, but I still think Yoyokaku’s tiger puffer course is the best. The staff and everyone at the Accommodation were very pleasant, and the building and garden felt spacious and relaxing, so I was able to unwind once again. Thank you for upgrading us to a wonderful Room.

The cuisine was outstanding and truly moving. Each dish reflected careful selection of fresh local ingredients and meticulous preparation. Given the location, I expected excellent seafood, but the vegetables were beyond anything I imagined. This Accommodation is well worth going out of your way for.

We stayed in the largest Room with five people! It was comfortable, with private spaces as well. We were impressed to find three toilets and a sauna. The stylish space, well-stocked amenities, and spotless cleanliness throughout made our stay very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff for your help. We would love to stay again.

Upon arrival, your son—nearly three years old now—welcomed us with a cheerful “Welcome.” His slightly shy expression was so adorable that it instantly brought a smile to our faces. Having known him since he was a baby, seeing him again each year is one of the reasons we keep coming back. This time we stayed in the Room “Hagoromo.” From the spacious veranda, we could lie back at night and gaze up at a sky full of stars. Spending time there in the pleasant evening breeze, pleasantly tipsy after dinner and drinks, felt like pure luxury. The cuisine was a summer herbal course. The mousse-like sauce made with herbal broth had a distinctive depth of flavor—I couldn’t resist asking for a spoon and enjoyed every last drop. The tomato simmered in herbal broth and served chilled also had more of a Western touch than before, making it an elegant and refreshing dish. The happy-hour herbal-syrup frappe was perfect for cooling down after our walk; it felt truly reviving. The morning coffee also tasted exceptional, so I asked about it and learned they use rare peaberry beans. Because only one bean develops instead of the usual two, the flavor is said to be more concentrated—and I was told the owner carefully roasts them from green beans himself. I was deeply impressed to see the same sincere dedication found in their herbal cuisine reflected in their coffee as well. Once again during our meal, the proprietress spoke with us warmly by our side. I started writing Reviews after last year’s visit, and looking back, I realized that Accommodations I rated highly always shared one thing: heartfelt hospitality with true attention to detail. This Accommodation embodies that better than anywhere else—and I feel that even more strongly now.

This was a wonderful Hotel with great taste felt in every detail, and it made me want to take lots of photos. The Bulgari Bar was a spacious, relaxing place that made me feel like I was abroad. In the Room, they had kindly prepared fresh fruit for us, which helped soothe the fatigue of traveling. For breakfast, we had the Gymnasium Breakfast, and every item was a special menu that felt gentle on the body. The freshly pressed apple juice was also unbelievably delicious. We also enjoyed lunch at the Italian restaurant, and thanks to the staff’s warm kindness, my daughter and I had a truly pleasant time together. I would definitely recommend lunch at the Italian restaurant as well. I bought chocolates as souvenirs, and even after returning home, I continued to savor the wonderful memories of our time at Bulgari Hotel. I would love to stay again.

This was our third stay, and the free-flowing Onsen with no added water is outstanding. One of the highlights is being able to relax together as a couple in the private bath. Breakfast was delicious both to look at and to eat, and we were completely full. The parking lot is spacious, the location is great, and we love the views from the Room—Shirarahama Beach, sunsets, and more. We’d like to visit again when we can find the time.

We stayed for two nights. With early check-in and late check-out available, we were able to relax and take our time. Unfortunately it rained on the first night, but there was a hot plate provided, so we enjoyed ourselves in a clean Room. On the second day, we had great weather from the morning and fully enjoyed the pool and BBQ! The clear explanation at check-in and the attentive support at check-out made us feel at ease throughout our stay. There were also plenty of amenities, including a blower and mat for dogs, as well as cooking utensils and tableware, but there was no kitchen paper or wet wipes, so we recommend bringing your own!!

It was a wonderful trip—100% perfect. Of course, I would 100% recommend it to friends and acquaintances. The Room had an ocean view, and it felt like looking at a painted seascape. I requested Japanese-style meals, and everything was truly satisfying. The bath was great, the meals were great, the amenities were well stocked, and the Room was excellent. Since I informed you in advance that I have a disability, I was also able to park properly in the Hotel parking lot. It really was 100%. Thank you very much. This became a memorable trip, and I’m truly happy about it. I hope to visit again someday. Thank you again very much.

We stayed for one night to celebrate my partner’s birthday. This was our third stay. Thank you very much for your heartfelt and warm hospitality throughout our visit. The wonderful whole cake you prepared for the celebration was so light that we finished it easily, even after a full meal. You also helped us with a small issue, and we were both truly touched by your thoughtful attention to detail. Thanks to the delicious food, the wonderful Onsen, and everyone’s kindness, we were able to forget our busy daily lives and enjoy a special time of true relaxation. We would love to visit again next year.

The Ryokan’s atmosphere, the garden, the Room we stayed in (Kita-no-Yakata Kissho, DX with an open-air Onsen bath), the cuisine, and the hospitality of all the staff—everything was simply outstanding. We had a truly wonderful time. Next time, we would like to stay during the autumn foliage season. Thank you very much.

This was truly a Hotel with outstanding hospitality. Live music was always playing, and every staff member greeted us with a smile—an exceptional level of service. Honestly, I’d give it six stars if I could. Although there are signs of age, everything was very well cleaned, and we had a very comfortable stay. We only had breakfast twice and lunch once, but both were absolutely delicious. It also included next-day tickets for Huis Ten Bosch, so the value for money is excellent. I would love to stay again.
