We stayed on August 1–2, 2026! The Room (depending on the Plan, I assume) felt like it could have been a bit deeper and wider, but it matched the photos online. This was our first stay at Taoya as a family of four, including a second-year university student and a second-year high school student. We loved the all-inclusive free drinks (including alcohol) throughout our stay, plus the welcome dessert (the mini Mont Blanc was freshly piped on the spot). At dinner buffet, there were shake salads, freshly grilled and carved steak, and each table had a small burner for mini hot pots. There were also pasta and pizza, and even late-night snacks included in the Plan—everything was excellent in both taste and portion size. Breakfast was also buffet-style with build-your-own rice bowls, grilled fish using the tabletop burner, and freshly baked mini apple pies brought around to each table (they’re seriously piping hot, so be careful when eating). Our whole family was very satisfied. At dinner one night while we were taking a selfie with an outstretched arm, a staff member kindly offered to take our photo—an extra touch that made us even happier. The location was great too: easy access to Momiji-dani Suspension Bridge and the Nasu Highlands area, and Nikko is just over an hour away by expressway. Since it’s in the mountains we were worried about insects, but they didn’t bother us at all—we didn’t even encounter any during an evening walk (to the nearest suspension bridge), at the open-air bath on the 4th floor, or in our Room. The only insect we really noticed was dragonflies flying around the courtyard; little kids seemed to enjoy having them land on their fingers. Personally, I especially liked the courtyard bonfire! Thank you very much—we’d love to come again if we have another chance. (*Menus and types of insects may vary depending on season and timing.)

While the main building feels a bit old, the Room was clean and the large public bath was well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast was so delicious it couldn’t be compared to that of a certain chain Hotel.

Perhaps because I wasn’t familiar with the area, the location was hard to find, but once I was shown to my Room, it had a double bed and felt clean, so I could relax and felt like I got a great deal.

This was my first stay at Hisai Green Hotel. I usually stay at the affiliated Center One Hotel. Before my stay, I asked about places for dinner and was also told that breakfast offers a wide variety of options. Since it was my first time staying here, I was really looking forward to it. The Accommodation was very quiet, and the welcome drink service even included ice for iced coffee. I visited on an extremely hot day, so that was very helpful. The staff were also kind and attentive. What I looked forward to most was the breakfast ochazuke. The spiny lobster broth for the ochazuke was rich and delicious, and the Matsusaka beef shigure-ni was also excellent. Being able to customize the ochazuke myself made it both fun and tasty. The menu making good use of local ingredients is wonderful. When items ran out, they were replenished quickly. A member of the breakfast staff asked, “How was your breakfast?” and I replied, “It was excellent.” In addition to the meals, the Accommodation was kept very clean throughout. Since I had a late check-out with a long stay the next morning, I could relax in a clean environment until departure. If I have another chance to visit the Hisai area, I would like to stay again. I am always grateful for Comfort Inn Ogaki and Center One Hotel Handa as well. The affiliated hotels are reliable and truly excellent Hotels where you can stay with peace of mind. I look forward to continuing to use these affiliated hotels in the future.

The Hotel is located in a quiet spot with great views, and the scenery from the 5th-floor observation level is wonderful. The Room is not very large, but it is well cleaned and feels relaxing. Both the large public bath and the open-air bath are spacious, so I was able to soak at my own pace and felt refreshed. The meals were delicious for both dinner and breakfast, with a satisfying variety and flavor. The all-inclusive service is also very appealing—being able to choose drinks to match the dishes is perfect for those who enjoy alcohol. All of the staff were kind and naturally attentive, making this a relaxing stay.

Whenever I visit Ishigaki Island, I stay at this Hotel. The view from the Room is wonderful, and the Facility is compact overall, making it comfortable and easy to spend time here. Breakfast doesn’t have a huge variety, but it tastes good, and I’m happy they also offer several kinds of fruit. The price isn’t too high, and it’s in a convenient location, so I recommend it!

This was my fourth stay. It’s a wonderful Hotel with great value: an Onsen public bath, unlimited welcome drinks in the lounge until night, and above all, an excellent breakfast. I did notice the limited amenities, but given the outstanding cost performance, it may be unavoidable as a cost-saving measure. However, I would like to see improvement regarding the drinking water in the public bath being unavailable (it may have just been out of order that day). I usually choose a Plan with dinner and breakfast, and for the selectable dinner I ate at “Toyotsune,” but since their station-front branch across from the Hotel is currently closed, this time I chose breakfast only. The breakfast features Oita specialties such as freshly fried tempura from a live kitchen and “Ryukyu,” and you can also make a luxurious TKG using the branded egg “Ran-O.” Even the miso soup included Kurome seaweed from Oita, with a rich dashi flavor. It’s such an impressive spread that I look forward to it every time. The Room was also clean and comfortable with a smart TV. Thank you again for this stay.

I had been curious about this place for a while, so I decided to stay here. The Hotel is close to the station, and there are shops within walking distance, making it a very convenient location. The neatly arranged soft drinks, bread, and snacks were all delicious. When I called with a question before my stay, the staff responded very politely, which gave me a great impression even before arriving. It was quiet both inside and outside the Hotel, so I was able to relax. I also enjoyed trying the mist-style shower, and the water pressure was just right. Next time, I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay and spend more time relaxing at the Hotel.

It was a truly wonderful Hotel. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt a sense of calm and dignified atmosphere. The cleanliness throughout the building, the color tones of the furniture and interiors, the beauty of the design, and the carefully arranged details all conveyed the Hotel’s overall elegance. What impressed me most was the warmth of the staff. Their demeanor and choice of words reflected outstanding hospitality, allowing me to relax and enjoy my stay with peace of mind. Breakfast was also excellent—not only for the food itself, but also because it could be enjoyed slowly in a serene setting. It felt like one of the great highlights of staying at this Hotel. This Hotel is not simply a place to stay; it is a place to step away from everyday life and spend quiet time in refined comfort. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to take their time enjoying their stay while appreciating its beautiful atmosphere and distinctive world that the staff so carefully preserve. I sincerely thank all staff members for providing such a wonderful space and service. I would love to visit again. However, some guests’ behavior was disappointing. At minimum, basic manners matter—no swimming in the large public bath; no shouting by adults or children; no arguing or yelling between parents; no running in the breakfast area. Even though it was only one night, there was a significant gap between guests who wanted to enjoy a quiet, high-quality environment and those without manners. With both groups mixed together, it is true that there were many moments when I could not fully enjoy what should have been such a dignified and lovely atmosphere. The food, cleanliness, ambiance, elegance, professionalism at reception, quality of furnishings, and housekeeping (except for parts related to air conditioning within the building) were all excellent and very satisfying. This is an issue on our side as guests. Please follow basic etiquette in shared spaces: do not run (especially in the breakfast area), do not shout, do not argue loudly even as parents—and keep your voices down. Unfortunately there were many guests who did not observe these basics. I especially wish people would refrain from swimming in the large public bath. There were also children splashing water around with wash buckets—yet some parents did not correct them; instead they swam together with their children while being loud. It felt chaotic. I also did not want to witness arguments between parents. I do not want to hear shouting or yelling. If only guest behavior improved—but aside from that point, this Hotel is outstanding!

The front desk staff were very courteous, and we had a pleasant stay. The restaurant you recommended was also delicious! Thank you very much! We would love to stay again!!

Perched on a hilltop in a very quiet area of Kirishima, the Room offers distant views of Sakurajima. Surrounded by mountains and tea fields, you can enjoy a peaceful stay away from the crowds. The Room is equipped with a spacious open-air bath that can comfortably fit around five people, a sauna for about three, and a cold plunge pool. Being able to use these Facility amenities as much as you like at any time you prefer truly feels like a luxury. Meals are served in a private dining room, with staff providing prompt service. We thoroughly enjoyed dishes featuring abundant local ingredients from both the mountains and the sea—refined without being overly elaborate, and well suited to Japanese tastes. There is also an extensive selection of Kagoshima shochu (far more than we could even recognize), along with sake, wine, and non-alcoholic options to enjoy freely. The staff were also extremely kind and attentive. If I had to mention one drawback, it was that the bathroom sink is located in the bedroom area of the Room, which felt slightly inconvenient. For those who want to fully enjoy the sauna, Onsen, meals, and location, I highly recommend a Multiple Night Stay. We would love to visit again.

From check-in onward, the staff provide pleasant and welcoming service. It’s a bit disappointing that the Room key is not a card key, but... The breakfast is delicious! This time, I extended my check-out time for an additional fee and was able to relax. I will stay here again.

I stayed for one night on the day before a holiday, and my first impression was the warm, homey atmosphere. Both the interior and exterior have been renovated in a modern Japanese style while still retaining some of the charm of an old Ryokan. Since my room didn’t have a bath, I used the shared bathhouse around 6:00 PM; the water was about 42°C, pleasantly hot. It felt like it could fit around four people; there were about two other guests at the time. Breakfast was simple and familiar-tasting, which I enjoyed. The salted trout seemed like a local specialty.

Because it is very close to Subway “Kita-Nijuyo-Jo Station,” it was a real help for travelers with lots of luggage. There is also a convenience store nearby, which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to enjoy a pleasant stay at the Hotel.

We stayed here to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. The meals were even better than before—delicious and very satisfying. The view from the room was wonderful and truly relaxing. The property was always spotless, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles, making it a memorable anniversary. Thank you very much.

I traveled with my elderly parents and my daughter. The hotel had very high ratings when I researched it beforehand, so we arrived with high expectations. It truly was an outstanding hotel that more than lived up to them. We were moved by the panoramic ocean view from our room. Everything was spotless and very clean. For dinner, we chose the seasonal kaiseki course; the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, and we enjoyed a relaxed evening savoring delicious dishes at our own pace. Each item was carefully prepared—beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious. My daughter and parents were especially impressed by the toro-taku. My parents are older and have weak teeth, but the wagyu steak was so tender that they could enjoy it without any trouble. They usually don’t eat much, yet they finished everything, which really surprised me. We used the large public bath, and the view from there was also incredible. The next morning, I woke up early with my parents and watched the sunrise from our room’s terrace; seeing how moved my father was made me feel deeply emotional as well. Breakfast was a buffet with Japanese and Western options plus a few Chinese dishes, so everyone could choose what they liked—we enjoyed it very much. The freshly made fluffy omelet and freshly squeezed orange juice were especially delicious. After check-out, the staff kindly assisted us all the way to the station, for which we are very grateful. I was able to give my parents a wonderful trip full of great memories. Thank you very much! We will definitely return again.

The Room is clean, and the bathroom and toilet are also spotless. There are plenty of places to eat, and a convenience store is nearby. Especially since there’s a Don Quijote close by.

The Onsen was the best part—absolutely wonderful. The Room was clean and very functional, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I’d love to stay again as soon as possible, but there was heavy fog on Irohazaka with almost no visibility, which was scary. The expressway also had torrential rain with near-zero visibility, so I’d like to visit again on a clear day with good weather.

This was my first time in Himeji to see an opera. I considered other options, but chose this Hotel because of the Nikko brand, a separate bath and toilet, on-site parking, and even a club floor. However, the parking lot fills up quickly (it’s near the station and there aren’t many spaces), which made me nervous as a guest traveling from far away. A male staff member at the parking entrance kindly secured the last available space for me, which was a huge help—thank you very much. It would be great if parking could be reserved when making a Reservation, though I understand it may be difficult to manage. I also appreciated that parking is free for club-floor guests. The Facility feels a bit dated in places, but the Room has been renovated for comfort and convenience, with no shortage of amenities. The ReFa shower and hair dryer were excellent. The toilet wasn’t just updated cosmetically—the fixtures and piping also seemed new, making it very easy to use. The pajamas were a comfortable two-piece set with a soft feel and relaxed fit. It was quiet at night and I slept very well. The lounge made me wonder if this price is really okay—the food and drinks were impressively plentiful. Not only alcohol but also a great selection of HARNEY & SONS teas; the cinnamon tea recommended by one of the hotel staff was so good that I bought some afterward. Overall, the service was pleasant throughout and I could truly relax. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of both Japanese- and Western-style dishes—so much that even with my big appetite I couldn’t try everything. Live-cooked egg dishes are common at Hotels, but this was my first time seeing burgers made to order right in front of me. The burger was delicious—and perfectly sized as well. And the Awaji Island milk was outstanding. With no time limits on parking or lounge access, I could visit Himeji Castle and shop in the arcade as well. This isn’t just convenient for guests—it also feels like support for local revitalization efforts. Breakfast included many locally inspired items, and even the vending machines next to reception carried products from local confectionery shops—another nice touch. I don’t often have reasons to come to Himeji, but I’d love to return for a relaxing staycation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Room: Clean and stylish Bathroom: Spotless and hygienic Amenities: OSAJI products—really uplifting Breakfast: Great variety, and the Reuben sandwich and French toast were especially delicious! The staff member grilling them was also very pleasant. Also, the super-blue jelly (summer-only?) was so beautiful and tasty that it should be available year-round. Staff: At least everyone who assisted me was friendly and welcoming. Second Room: Stylish, relaxing, and a great place to wait without feeling stressed about the shuttle bus. However, since the ride is fairly long, if you want to sit on the bus it’s better not to stay too long here and head to the bus stop earlier. Note (the only one): The card key doesn’t have the room number printed on it, so I briefly forgot my room number and panicked. It might be a good idea to take a screenshot of your room number at check-in. I’d been looking for an alternative because Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay has gotten more expensive over the years, but I think I’ll stick with this place. It was easygoing, clean, and fun. I’ve already made another Reservation for December—thank you in advance. I’m also looking forward to the breakfast buffet in December.
