This was my first stay. The Room was comfortable, and the food was delicious. There was a stargazing and night view watching program, and I joined it. Unfortunately, it was cloudy so we could hardly see any stars, but we were able to enjoy the night view of Nara. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay again.

This is a truly wonderful Hotel! We stayed in an ocean-side Room with a great view, complete with a bath and toilet. The welcome drinks available until 10:00 PM were very helpful. The meals were buffet-style with a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied. The open-air bath was also lovely, with a beautiful view that helped us relax. Above all, we were deeply impressed by the thoughtful care of all the staff. They took photos for us and gave them as a gift, prepared a wonderful fruit plate, and provided warm hospitality with genuine smiles. It became an unforgettable trip for us. Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for your hospitality. You contacted us in advance, which made us feel at ease and we were able to visit with confidence. It was a very satisfying Hotel. There were plenty of restaurant options, and the Room was spacious, which was great. If I may add one thing, it would be even better if there were a large public bath as well. We visited in a wheelchair, and your thoughtful support was very helpful. Our president said he hoped to return next year for a company trip, but we heard the building will be demolished, which is very disappointing.

I traveled because I wanted to let my three dogs run around and play freely! Unfortunately, two typhoons were approaching during our stay, but the indoor dog run meant all three could run as much as they wanted and were in great spirits. Since we were worried about the weather, we arrived at the Hotel early, and being able to use the indoor dog run was a big help. Both the dinner course and breakfast were delicious, and since this trip also celebrated our wedding anniversary, we were very satisfied. On our way home, our family talked about how we hope it will be sunny next time—and we’re already looking forward to returning. I was surprised at how fast the front desk explanation was at check-in, but the restaurant staff provided very courteous service and made our time truly enjoyable. Thank you very much.

When my husband and I stayed here before, we felt it would be easy for seniors to visit as well, so this time I brought my mother. The Room with an open-air bath was spacious, and the view from the deck was wonderful. It was actually a semi-open-air bath rather than fully open-air, but apples were provided so we could enjoy an apple bath in the Room, which made my mother very happy. We also appreciated the free drinks. This time, a staff member told us there was apple pizza available, and we were grateful to be able to try it. It was delicious. As we already knew, the large public bath and the open-air bath are separated, so it’s a bit of a hassle to change clothes and move between them. However, the hot spring water is excellent, so we were glad we came. This time there was even a large apple floating in the bath, which made us feel you can enjoy something different each season. Perhaps because it was the off-season, the dining area felt small. I was disappointed that there weren’t any carts like I saw elderly guests using last time, but the salad selection was plentiful and tasty. Just like last time, there was no information at all about craft activities such as making herbarium items—maybe because we’re not part of a younger generation? My mother really enjoyed herself, so I’m glad we came.

We stayed here during our trip to Kagawa. The place felt like a cottage built into the mountain slope, and we enjoyed a truly out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. Everything was wonderful—the Accommodation’s ambiance, the Facility, and the meals—and we were very satisfied. Above all, we were most impressed by how kind and attentive all the staff were. The person who explained the dishes noticed that I’m left-handed and arranged the chopsticks so they were easier for me to use, which really warmed my heart. Thank you very much—we’d love to visit again.

Free lockers were available in the lobby for luggage storage, with various sizes, which was very convenient. I requested a Room with a good view, and they kindly accommodated my request—thank you. The Room was compact, easy to use, and comfortable. It’s close to the station, and I will definitely stay here again next time. Thank you very much.

I stayed in the Women-Only Ladies’ Room (No Meals Included). I visit Sendai a few times a year with an overnight stay, but this was my first time using this Hotel. What made me choose it among many Hotels was the women-only floor with security access and the separate bathroom. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. The loungewear was a two-piece set, and the amenities were high-quality—something you’d expect from a ladies’ room—which really lifted my mood. There is also a water dispenser on each floor, so it’s helpful that there’s no need to buy bottled water. The front desk staff were also very pleasant. I initially thought it might be a bit far from the station, but it turned out to be no problem at all. Next time, I’d like to try the breakfast.

This was my second stay. The moment I stepped through the entrance, it felt like a different world. The meals were delicious, the staff’s hospitality and manners were excellent, and our Room was upgraded—everything was taken care of. I would love to stay again. I’m also looking forward to trying the open-air bath next time. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience.

The Room was clean and felt more spacious than it looked in the photos. Both the property and the Room were stylish, and having a foldable makeup mirror in the Room was very helpful. Everything was well maintained and spotless. All of the housekeeping staff we passed in the hallway greeted us, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. I wish we had used the café as well, so I’d like to do so on our next stay.

It had been a while since my last stay at Ochiairo, and I was truly moved by how wonderful the dinner was. From fresh sweetfish tempura and eel sushi to game fowl soup, thick shiitake mushrooms, crispy cutlassfish, and seasoned somen served in an ice bowl with nori—each dish was exceptional. The Onsen was also very enjoyable, with gentle mildly alkaline water. I especially appreciated the wide selection of drinks available not only in the lounge but also in the Room refrigerator and even by the bath area—such thoughtful care to prevent dehydration. Finally, at checkout we received a coupon booklet for the Shuzenji Toll Road. This has been a long-standing service, but I was impressed again by such attentive hospitality. It is an inconvenient road where ETC cannot be used for some reason, so this was very helpful. I would love to stay at Ochiairo again to relax—everything from the Onsen and meals to the service is outstanding.

I chose this Accommodation because I was drawn to the phrase “100% free-flowing natural hot spring,” and it truly lived up to the promise—it was a wonderful place to stay. The Onsen had only a mild mineral scent, yet the water felt silky and very pleasant. Because it’s on the cooler side, you can soak slowly without getting overheated, which is another great point. Most impressive of all, even the shower water was Onsen water—remarkable. The spring yield must be abundant. I’ve stayed at many hot springs over the years, but in terms of water quality, views, and Facility offerings, I genuinely think this is an outstanding Onsen. If I had to mention one thing, it would be helpful if drinking water were available in the resting area for those times when you end up soaking a bit too long. The Facility has the atmosphere of a traditional Ryokan, and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel somewhat old-fashioned—but rather than being a negative, I appreciated how they value what’s old while making up for any shortcomings with warm hospitality and service. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and felt very fresh; even the tatami mats were comfortable. The generous meals made with local ingredients were also delicious. Despite being in a landlocked prefecture, the sashimi was excellent—a pleasant surprise. My only regret is that there was so much food that I couldn’t finish everything. Finally, thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality during our stay. We visited to celebrate my father’s birthday; when I mentioned this at the time of Reservation, we received a lovely extra service at dinner on the day. Thanks as well for upgrading our Room—we were able to relax comfortably in a spacious setting. We were completely satisfied with everything—the Onsen, meals, and hospitality—and would love to visit again.

My family stayed in three Rooms on August 1. The Room was spacious, the beds were large, and it was very comfortable for sleeping. The large public bath also had a semi-open-air bath, offering great value for the price. Since it’s on a high floor, the view was amazing. My family was very happy with it. The staff were kind, and although there weren’t many seats at the breakfast venue, both the bread and rice dishes were delicious. We were more than satisfied. If I had to mention one drawback, the Room refrigerator didn’t get very cold even on the highest setting, and even after leaving drinks in overnight they were still lukewarm. Other than that, there were no issues at all, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Sakudaira.

I loved the bath, but the breakfast was especially high quality! I even had five freshly fried shrimp tempura in the morning! I’ll definitely stay again.

We stayed with our family during the Obon holidays. The meals featured presentations we had never experienced at other Hotels, and the portions were just right—everything was truly delicious. Being able to watch the sunset from the lounge during dinner became a wonderful memory. The lounge was very comfortable, not only for the view but also for its lovely interior that felt almost like a private space. However, family members who don’t drink alcohol wished there were a wider variety of cake-style sweets to go with coffee. Also, the duvet was too thick, so it would have been nice to have a summer option. We would definitely love to visit again.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Overall, it was comfortable. The bath on the 7th floor had a fairly lukewarm tub, which was great because soaking in it after the hotter tub let us enjoy a longer time without overheating. On the other hand, the bath on the 1st floor has only four washing stations. While there are multiple tubs, most are so small that they barely fit one or two people, so I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you visit on a quiet day or specifically want to try several small baths. Meals (both breakfast and dinner) changed between the first and second night, so even with a Multiple Night Stay we didn’t get bored. You can enjoy many different dishes in small portions, and there’s also a special, creative feel to them. Everything was tasty, but not so impressive that it’s worth setting your expectations too high. The fish dishes were average; the meat dishes were very good. It was also nice that you can order Fukushima sake and other drinks for an additional fee. All staff were warm and welcoming. The Room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We could see nature through large windows, and the amenities/Facility were well equipped: a large desk with a sturdy chair, a powerful hair dryer, a full-length mirror (stand mirror), tea and coffee, etc. However, it was disappointing that the desk drawer hit the chair armrests making it hard to pull up close to the desk, and that the light on the stand mirror had dead batteries. Since we stayed during Obon season there were many families with children, so it may not suit those looking for a quiet adults-only atmosphere. Also, since it said “no cleaning unless requested” for Multiple Night Stay guests we didn’t ask for anything—but staff still entered our Room to replace amenities without warning us first. This part of their guidance is unclear. There are hardly any shops nearby such as convenience stores, so it’s not ideal if you plan to sightsee only in the immediate area. It seems better suited either for going out toward the station area or for relaxing at this Accommodation. We didn’t use it ourselves, but they also appear to offer a free Shuttle Service bus to another affiliated Onsen.

From the elevated walkway outside the East Exit on the 2nd floor of Takasaki Station, I could spot the colorful neon sign for “HOTEL123,” so I found my way there without getting lost. Since I’m terrible with directions and arrived late at night, I might not have made it there so smoothly without that sign. Even though it was late, the front desk staff kindly explained the room key and Facilities, which made check-in feel reassuring. There was a convenience store about a 3-minute walk away, so I could pick up a late-night snack. That said, there was also a light-snack vending machine on the same floor as the front desk, which seemed handy if you just want something small. The Room does feel its age, but it was thoroughly cleaned and spotless—nothing to complain about. Having a large public bath where you can stretch out and soak was especially appreciated after long-distance travel. (As others have mentioned in their Reviews, it is on the smaller side, but still more than sufficient.) The water temperature may come down to preference, but it could be slightly hotter. The drink bar next to the front desk had an impressive selection—I was surprised they even offered consommé soup and miso soup. Being able to get both fluids and salt from soups may be part of their consideration for preventing heat exhaustion. Breakfast is included for free so I didn’t expect much, but it exceeded expectations by far: white rice, several kinds of bread, and multiple Japanese- and Western-style side dishes. I was very satisfied. This Hotel offers thoughtful service that anticipates guests’ needs despite its reasonable price point, and I’d like to stay here again next time I visit Takasaki.

Despite the low price, the Room was clean, more spacious than expected, and I was able to relax and rest well. Having a washer-dryer in the Room was also very convenient. I brought laundry detergent from home, but it was available for purchase at the front desk. Breakfast had a limited selection, but everything was delicious and I ate until I was full.

So spacious for a Hotel right in front of the station! It was so affordable that I wondered if it was too good to be true, but the Review ratings were high so I made a Reservation—and it really was great. Bath salts and amenities were well stocked. I didn’t use the restaurant, but it was very lively, so I figured the food must be good. There’s also a convenience store nearby. The parking lot was full so I couldn’t use it, but there’s a paid parking lot right across the street, so it wasn’t a problem. I think it’s a very good Hotel!

I had long admired the Kamikochi Imperial Hotel. I had visited Kamikochi several times for hiking, and each time I hoped to stay there someday. This time, the timing worked out and I was finally able to visit. For our family it felt like a special treat, but we were truly impressed—not only by the wonderful location and beautiful building, but also by how delicious the food was. Above all, we were moved by the outstanding hospitality: every staff member spoke to us warmly yet politely, even the housekeeping team greeted us with a smile, and they treated our preschool-aged child with such kindness and care. I’m not sure when we’ll be able to return, but we definitely want to come back again. Thank you very much!
