Because a Room was available, they upgraded me from the Room I had reserved to a newly renovated, more spacious Room. It was so spotless that I was genuinely surprised. The large public bath had three types of baths and a sauna, and since it was a weekday during the rainy season, I could enjoy it almost privately and relax at my own pace. The ReFa hair dryer, KEYUCA cups, and cute cushions made the Room feel especially appealing for women. I only met two staff members at check-in and check-out, but both were extremely courteous and helpful. I wasn’t traveling for sightseeing this time—I simply wanted an affordable Hotel where I could stay one night alone with access to an Onsen—but it was so comfortable that I’d love to stay again next year with my family.

We stayed here to celebrate both our wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday, hoping to enjoy Onsen and delicious cuisine with views of the sea and town. The scenery, food, and Onsen were wonderful, and we especially appreciated the excellent service from Mr./Ms. F. Friendly yet attentive and courteous, their explanations made the meal even more enjoyable—we truly loved every dish. On our way out, we also discussed our next Reservation. All the staff were very kind. My family of three stayed in the Room “Engetsu,” and it was spacious enough. The bath and dining area were on the same floor, so access was excellent. The bath was fully stocked—not only shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but also facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion—and the water had a wonderfully silky feel. The meals were outstanding as well. We enjoyed a relaxing sea bream feast in our Room. They even included beer as a complimentary service, and we were truly impressed by their thoughtful attention to detail. We had breakfast in the dining area; there was a great variety of side dishes, and everything was delicious too. When I visit Shirahama again, I would definitely like to stay at Akariya again.

The front desk staff were very kind, courteous, and helpful. I was also surprised by the cable car from the parking lot—it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed both the private family bath and the large public bath, and felt truly refreshed. Although our stay was No Meals Included, we took a stroll around Ikaho’s Onsen town and had a relaxing time. The Room was spacious enough, and we had no inconvenience with the Facility amenities. This is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again if we have the chance to visit Ikaho. Thank you very much.

I stayed here three times in one year. It’s my favorite Accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful stay in a quiet location. The hostess and her husband are so friendly and warm, and I looked forward to every visit. The food is always truly delicious. This time I stayed for two nights, and I was deeply impressed by how thoughtfully they changed the dishes each day. Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the sea was also wonderful! The shared spaces were kept clean and comfortable as well. After traveling around Ehime Prefecture over the past year, choosing this place again at the end was absolutely the right decision. We stayed here for our first fan trip, and both the exterior and the interior were wonderful. We were very happy that our Room was upgraded for four guests. The staff were professional and courteous, which made our stay very comfortable. I was personally pleased to find bath salts among the amenities. For breakfast, we could make a Reservation via QR code at our preferred time, so we weren’t tied to a schedule and could head to the buffet at a relaxed pace. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, all well-seasoned and delicious. With early-bird discounts and campaigns, the price was great value, making this an extremely satisfying fan trip. My friends were also very happy, and we’re already talking about staying here again. We look forward to seeing you next time as well. Thank you very much!!

We stayed here for a family trip. There were plenty of kid-friendly facilities such as the pool, illuminations, and a playroom, and we had a great time! Our children were thrilled and kept saying, “We want to come again,” so we were very satisfied as parents. The Onsen was wonderful, and we really appreciated having unlimited towels available at both the Onsen and the pool—it made everything comfortable and stress-free. The staff were also polite and kind. The only thing that bothered us was having to wait for the elevator at times. As for dining, there were occasional lines at dinner buffet stations where chefs cook in front of you, but it wasn’t a big issue. At breakfast, since it’s split into two time slots, there were lines during our time; however, I think that’s unavoidable during busy mornings. It was a lovely Hotel that made us want to return!

I look forward to staying at Pearl Star every summer. Thanks to the staff who provide Shuttle Service with a smile from check-in to check-out, I always have a very pleasant stay. Breakfast is one of the highlights for me, and I like to get seated early and enjoy it at a relaxed pace. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at again and again.

This is a perfect Ryokan with meticulous attention to every detail. The building is beautifully maintained, and the finishes and Facilities feel refined. The Onsen is excellent, and the amenities are well stocked. The meals are delicious, served on beautiful tableware, and satisfy both taste and presentation. Drink prices are reasonable as well. The location is close to Yubatake, making it easy to enjoy a stroll around the area. I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

Conveniently located near Dogo Onsen Station, the view from the Room was great, with Dogo Onsen Honkan and Matsuyama Castle visible. The window glass had a pattern, so it would have been even better if it were completely clear. The Room was clean and comfortable, with a nice sense of cleanliness. The large public bath on the top floor was also very relaxing, and I especially recommend the open-air bath! We used the buffet for both breakfast and dinner, and there were many local dishes and unique items—everything was delicious. Dinner was a half-buffet, but we were very full, so I thought it would be nice to have a Plan with buffet only (it may already exist...). Also, I’d be happy if there were mandarin orange juice at breakfast! It was also great to have live piano music in the evening.

This time, we stayed for two nights and needed to change rooms, but the Hotel handled it smoothly. Sorry for always making special requests. Thank you very much.

Since I always end up going to Hokkaido, this was my first stay in Akita. I chose this Hotel because it’s close to the station for riding the Gono Line. Unfortunately, heavy rain caused the Gono Line to be suspended that day, but I’m truly glad I stayed here. All the staff were pleasant and attentive, with just the right sense of distance. The lounge had a very relaxing atmosphere, and both tea time and cocktail time were extremely satisfying. There were about 10 kinds of Akita local sake, and they mentioned that their recommendations keep increasing over time. They also offered shochu, draft beer, bottled beer, sparkling wine, wine, and more. Just as other Reviews said before my trip, everything was delicious—marinated fresh fish, chilled pork shabu-shabu, iburigakko with cheese, warm chicken dishes and fish dishes. A lady next to me said she has stayed here many times. It’s close to the station and you can get there without getting wet in the rain. I arrived at 1:00 p.m. planning only to leave my luggage, but they told me my Room was ready so I could check in early. After strolling around Kubota Castle Ruins and the park right in front of the Hotel, I went back to the station and bought a cute Akita dog T-shirt and tote bag for my grandchild. Breakfast also featured a lineup full of Akita specialties—kiritanpo and onigiri where you can choose both rice type and fillings—so it had been a while since I felt completely full from breakfast. There were still items I didn’t get to try yet, so I’ll be back again—and next time I’ll ride the Gono Line.

Whenever I visit Hakata, I try to stay here whenever possible. My recent favorite is the hamburger served at the bar. I’ll be back again.

From the warm welcome to the heartfelt send-off, we were truly satisfied with the hospitality. With the carefully designed interior and a beautiful garden view, we could freely enjoy a variety of delicious Ureshino cold teas, which helped us forget the heat. Dinner was delicately prepared with deep flavors and was beautiful to look at; even my mother, who has visited Onsen all over The whole country, was deeply moved. The bath in our Room was also a continuously flowing Onsen, and it felt wonderful. All of the staff were genuinely kind, and their smiles were soothing as well.

Two nights with my family during summer vacation in a Mt. Fuji view Room. A relaxing trip with our dog. Mt. Fuji looked beautiful in the morning. Choosing a Mt. Fuji view Room was absolutely the right decision. Lake Yamanaka was cool and perfect for a summer getaway. The outdoor dog run was clean, and we had a great time playing. The rooftop dog run was especially stunning, with the contrast between the blue flooring and Mt. Fuji. Breakfast and dinner were delicious as well. However, after two nights we started craving rice. It would be nice to have steamed white rice at breakfast in addition to bread. One thing that bothered us was the smell when we first entered the Room. Turning the air purifier up to MAX helped quite a bit, but... That was the only downside—overall we were satisfied. This has become one of the Hotels we’d like to return to. Thank you very much.

It was a shame about the rain, but we enjoyed dinner thanks to the friendly staff. After checkout, I panicked because I forgot my wallet, but you handled it kindly and carefully. Next time we stay, I hope it will be sunny so we can take some great photos. Thank you again, and we look forward to staying with you again.

The Hotel had a wonderful atmosphere at the front desk counter—the face of the property. Of course, the guest rooms were spotless, and the breakfast staff were cheerful. The view was great as well—everything was excellent. A Hotel really comes down to its people. I fully support eco-friendly Hotels. That said, personally, I would prefer amenities like shampoo to be provided in bottles. (For sightseeing, Zenkoji Temple and Togakushi are both lovely, but Obuse—reachable on the Nagano Electric Railway from Shiyakusho-mae Station near the Hotel—was beautiful throughout the town, and I enjoyed exploring by bicycle from the station.) Thank you very much.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip. Since I arrived via Kagoshima Airport, it was very reassuring and easy to find—especially for someone unfamiliar with the area—that the Accommodation is in the same building as the airport bus stop. I stayed in a Room on the more affordable side facing the Central Exit, but I imagine Rooms on the opposite Sakurajima-view side would offer a wonderful view (you can also see it straight ahead from the 7th-floor lobby). What I liked most about the Room was the sink and bath area: it’s level with no step up from the Room, and there’s a spacious bathtub plus a washing area and shower—perfect for relieving work fatigue. The only thing that bothered me was that the door separating this area was unusually heavy; someone with less strength might struggle to open and close it. Also, having USB ports in addition to AC outlets for charging would be appreciated.

This time, we visited Lake Kawaguchi and Hakone for the first time, looking forward to seeing Mt. Fuji as part of my wife’s birthday trip. Although it was too cloudy to see the Mt. Fuji we had hoped for, we stayed at Setsugetsuka Bettei Suiun in Hakone and were able to fully enjoy the area. Our Room was a Standard Fourth, and it was very practical and well maintained with thorough cleaning, so we had a comfortable stay. The Onsen was at just the right temperature for me and left me feeling refreshed from the core, and it was also great to be able to use L’OCCITANE shampoo. For dinner, being able to choose the main dish and rice during the meal felt like a thoughtful service that let us decide based on our appetite. Breakfast offered such an abundant variety that we were so full we couldn’t even eat lunch afterward. The after-bath lounge area, along with complimentary drinks and snacks on each floor, was also a welcome service whenever we felt a little hungry. The staff’s hospitality was polite and easy to understand, which left a strong impression on us as well. After checkout we went to Gora Park, and at that time a parking staff member kindly advised us that taking the mountain railway one stop would allow us to walk downhill from top to bottom more easily—very helpful advice for an older couple like us. We hope to come back soon for our “I want to see Mt. Fuji with my own eyes!” revenge trip, and when we do, we would love to stay with you again.

We stayed as two couples (my parents and us), making a Reservation for two Rooms for four people, and they kindly arranged adjoining Rooms for us. The lounge service was available for a long time, so after the bath we relaxed for over an hour enjoying beer, honey, and more. The calm atmosphere makes it enjoyable even if you’re traveling alone. The large public bath was not crowded, so we could take our time in the open-air bath as well. Since the baths switch between men and women the next day, we were able to enjoy both comfortably. Meals were served in a semi-private setting, and all staff were very courteous. When we were looking for something we had misplaced, they helped us kindly; we found it later, but their thoughtful support really stood out. We were completely satisfied with everything, and my parents said they would like to go again—so I’m glad I brought them. I’d love to visit again in a different season.
