The Onsen on the 11th floor was great, with a sauna and an open-air bath that felt wonderfully spacious!

My wife and I stayed here as a reward after work. Everything was wonderful—the butler service, the food, and the atmosphere. The early evening with a hint of autumn and the refreshing mornings were both amazing. Staying for about two nights would be perfect. Next time, I’d like to try another Room as well. Thank you—my wife was very satisfied too. The meat miso we received was so good we couldn’t stop eating rice.

Above all, the milky-white free-flowing Onsen from the source was outstanding, and soaking at a leisurely pace felt truly luxurious. We also enjoyed the private open-air bath together without any worries, which became a wonderful memory.\n\nBoth dinner and breakfast featured carefully prepared dishes that made the most of local ingredients, and we were completely satisfied with both the taste and portion sizes. Everything at both meals was delicious, and we were impressed to enjoy freshly made dishes served piping hot.\n\nThe staff’s hospitality was warm, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout our stay, making it very comfortable. The Room was clean and had a calm atmosphere, allowing us to slowly unwind from everyday fatigue.\n\nThe Onsen, cuisine, and hospitality were all excellent—we were satisfied in every way. Every dish was delicious. I was especially captivated by the flavor and presentation of the Japanese-style mousse. With each course that followed, I could feel the care put into every detail, and even the dessert was outstanding. If it were closer, I would want to stay every time the menu changes. In the past, I loved the cuisine at a nearby Ryokan and stayed there every month. However, when the head chef changed, I was surprised at how much the taste could change even though the menu remained the same. I truly hope your cuisine will continue to be preserved. Each staff member welcomed us with a warm, natural smile and kind service, and it made me feel this is a wonderful Ryokan. Thank you very much.

I stayed for one night. The service, meals, and baths were all excellent. There was also a local festival that day, which gave me a special opportunity to experience the surrounding culture. The view from the bath overlooked the harbor and had a wonderful atmosphere, and I was happy there was also a sauna and cold plunge. I also truly appreciated the flexible Shuttle Service, which made my trip much more convenient.

The view from the Room was wonderful, and the meals were delicious—we had a great stay. If I had to mention one thing, I only wish we could have used the bath a little longer at a more relaxed pace. We will visit again in a different season. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This was our first stay here on a trip for two. We stayed in the Room called “Nagaishi-no-Ma,” a nostalgic-style Room surrounded by furnishings such as a Karuizawa-carved desk, creating a calm and pleasantly reminiscent atmosphere. Above all, the staff’s service and explanations were very courteous, and we were able to spend our time comfortably, making it a wonderful memory. We would love to visit again next year.

I was amazed by the relaxed atmosphere of the Ryokan and the many delicious dishes—especially the abundance of fish—along with superb sake. The sunset and evening glow were incredibly beautiful and truly moving.

Despite being located in a lively part of town, the property felt like a different world—wrapped in serene tranquility. The cool breeze drifting through the reed doors and the pleasantly textured ajiro weaving, which I experienced for the first time, deeply moved me as part of Japan’s beautiful “summer setting.” Listening to the gentle sound of the shishi-odoshi echoing through the impeccably kept garden and spending time in the dignified tea room were truly luxurious moments that soothed my soul. The food and drinks were also exceptional—everything felt wonderfully satisfying to all five senses. Thank you sincerely for your thoughtful touches throughout. It became a wonderful summer memory, and my first visit back to Kyoto in a while was made even more special.

The exterior feels a bit retro, but once inside, it’s a bright and charming business Hotel that has been renovated. I chose a renovated Room, and it was bright with cute decor—something many women will appreciate. It would be perfect if the bathroom and toilet were separate, but at this price it’s an incredible value. The woman at the front desk was friendly, making check-in very pleasant. They offer drink service such as coffee, plus soft-serve ice cream and donuts until the evening, and you can also use the lounge. Best of all, breakfast is very affordable and extremely satisfying. In addition to the buffet, they brought udon, hot pizza, and hot French toast right to our table—all delicious! It’s a Hotel that clearly makes a lot of effort, and I’d definitely like to stay again.

I visited to relax with my daughter, who has just started her first job. On the day, we were picked up by the Shuttle Service to the athletic park. We didn’t have to wait long, and the careful driving made it very comfortable. The Room was lovely, and the night view was amazing. The meals were delicious, and the tableware was beautiful as well. We were very satisfied. Next time, we’ll visit in a different season.

I stayed here after hearing that the breakfast is highly rated. It really was delicious—well-made, clearly homemade, and truly satisfying. I’m glad I stayed. It was my first time staying at a Hokke Club, and it made me want to stay at Hokke Club hotels in other locations as well. I really appreciate being able to enjoy local specialties so deliciously. From the Room on the 13th floor, I could see Sakurajima. The Room was excellent, and the Onsen was great as well. I checked out before 6:00 due to my schedule, so it was a shame I didn’t have time to try the highly rated breakfast. The staff greeted me with smiles, making for a comfortable stay. It was a great-value Hotel.

I hadn’t visited Arima Onsen for quite some time since the COVID-19 pandemic, but if I was going to return after so long, I wanted an exceptional place for both cuisine and Onsen—so I decided to splurge on this Accommodation. I had known the name Kinzan for years, but everything was far beyond my expectations, and my mother was absolutely delighted as well. This time we fully enjoyed the live conger eel kaiseki along with the Onsen, and if possible, we’d love to visit again during crab season.

I always stay here when I’m on business in Osaka—it’s my go-to Accommodation. Above all, the breakfast is excellent. It seems word has gotten around about how good it is, and when I arrived on time I was told breakfast was fully booked. They said they could prepare seating outside the dining area, past the front desk, but since I wanted to go back for the buffet a few times, that felt a bit inconvenient… so I waited until a seat opened up. However, breakfast slots are divided into one-hour time blocks and you receive an advance card beforehand, so I assumed there would be a limit on the number of guests. The staff member explained that “there are many solo guests.” If that’s the case, I’d like to see some kind of improvement—such as making it clear via the advance card how much table space will be used, or distributing only as many advance cards as can accommodate everyone even if they are dining alone. Since this is before heading to work, time really matters. Because of this time loss (I think), I missed out on the limited-quantity pudding. Disappointing. (Though I was able to have it the next day.) My Room was on the women-only floor, and the hair dryer was very easy to use. When I looked it up because I wanted to buy one myself, it turned out to be quite high-end—so that alone made me very satisfied. I also appreciated having bottled water in the Room. The coffee was delicious too. I definitely want to stay here again next time.

We stayed for two nights with our family of three and our dog to celebrate my husband’s 77th birthday. Every meal was delicious, and we truly enjoyed them. Since meals were served in the Room, our dog barked a lot each time a staff member brought the food, but they knelt down to our dog’s eye level and helped him feel at ease. All of the staff greeted us with warm smiles, which made it very relaxing. We also had times when we could enjoy the Onsen privately, so we were able to unwind. We would love to visit again. It had been since last autumn, but this is an Accommodation that soothes me no matter when I visit. Of course, the Room and the Onsen are wonderful, as are the meals—modern French with witty, thought-provoking menus each time, and a Japanese breakfast made with carefully selected ingredients—but even more than that, I’m always delighted by the staff’s quiet attentiveness everywhere, including turndown service during both dinner and breakfast. I go outside the rear entrance to smoke each time, and there was a small bench that hadn’t been there before. Near the exit were several mats you can use on the bench. I was moved by these little touches and found myself even more captivated by Kokon. I’m already looking forward to deciding when to visit next.

The Room was compact, but very functional. Even though it was on the second floor, there was a small garden outside the window, which felt soothing. It was disappointing that the meal time couldn’t be arranged as we hoped, but the sashimi at dinner was carefully prepared, and we were able to enjoy dishes like conger eel shabu-shabu and sea bream rice at a relaxed pace. The sea bream chazuke set for breakfast was unusual and delicious. There was only an indoor bath, but it was a relaxing bath with warm water flowing over the shoulders, which we really enjoyed. Next time, we’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay and fully enjoy exploring Onomichi.

Even though I don’t swim in the sea, I travel solo year-round looking for gourmet Accommodations near the ocean (for the food and the scenery). I was happy to be upgraded to a Room with an ocean view. It was a Japanese-style Room, but it also had a leather sofa and ottoman, so I could stretch out and relax while gazing at the sea. When I woke up around 5:00, I was able to watch a beautiful sunrise from my Room. There is a calm inland-sea beach right in front of the Accommodation, and there are showers as well—great for families with small children. The meals were also wonderful, featuring an abundance of local specialties. My main goal was Wakasa guji (tilefish), but it was even more delicious than expected—the Wakasa guji ochazuke was outstanding. Also, the Matsunaga rice was incredibly good (probably the best I’ve ever had). I didn’t use the public bath and used the shower in my Room instead, but the shampoo and conditioner were from Hokurokusousui—a brand I love—so it helped me relax. Recently there have been more Accommodations renovated from wooden buildings, but some noise and footsteps are unavoidable. You can also hear children’s voices quite clearly. It’s not exactly quiet. However, more than making up for that, I felt each staff member’s hospitality and way of interacting with guests was excellent. In particular: the woman with glasses who assisted me at check-in; the woman at breakfast (sorry—I forgot your name); and one of the male staff members who gave me helpful advice on sightseeing in Obama after checkout. Thanks to them, this became more than just an overnight stay—I had a chance to learn even more about Obama, making it a very satisfying trip. I heard that in midwinter you can enjoy delicious hata grouper, fugu pufferfish, and Echizen crab. As transportation access improves from here on out, this will be an Accommodation I’ll want to visit even more. Next time it would be perfect if you could lend me a firmer pillow!!
