We stayed for one night on a family trip. We chose this Hotel as a base for sightseeing in Hiroshima City and Miyajima, and it was so comfortable that we found ourselves wishing we could spend more time relaxing at the Hotel. What we especially appreciated was the complimentary drink service. Being able to unwind with a drink after returning from sightseeing was truly relaxing and made our trip even more enjoyable. The Onsen was also clean and spacious, and it helped us fully recover from the day’s fatigue. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations—not only was there a great variety, but each dish was delicious, and our whole family was very satisfied. Starting the day feeling a bit indulgent is something we’ll remember. All of the staff were kind, warm, and attentive, which made our stay very pleasant. This is a Hotel we would highly recommend not only to those planning to visit Miyajima, but also to anyone who wants to enjoy some downtime at the Hotel as well. We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Hiroshima next time. (I enjoyed my stay so much that I completely forgot to take photos!)

If you’re staying in Shiretoko, I highly recommend this Hotel. The Hotel is new, clean, functional, and wonderful—but more than anything, I can’t count how many times I was moved by the staff’s thoughtfulness toward guests, their natural smiles, and genuine hospitality. Unlike the recent trend in big cities, they weren’t overly ingratiating, and the comfortable sense of distance felt truly pleasant. I think it’s a Hotel worth going out of your way to visit—something as wonderful and valuable as Shiretoko’s nature itself. The meals were also truly delicious and never got boring; I was satisfied in every respect. There are so many great things about this Hotel, but it reminded me that it’s people who move people. I also saw staff training newcomers and teaching them various things, and their attitude and way of working were careful and impressive. It’s been a long time since I found a Hotel where the staff shine like TV stars. Just my personal opinion: people in the same industry in Tokyo who focus only on price and facilities could learn a lot from this place (lol).

The stonework used on the lobby walls felt substantial and refined, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The Room was clean and beautifully furnished. The bathroom area was also thoroughly cleaned, so I could stay very comfortably. The Onsen had many different types, which was a lot of fun. After checkout, I left my luggage at the front desk and took a walk around Shoin Shrine. Since it was midsummer, when I returned to the Hotel—probably because I was sweating—the staff kindly offered me a drink (sorry for the trouble). I truly appreciated it.

We could see Hikone Castle from both our Room and the bath, which made it feel truly special. The yukata and haori were adorable, and both the Room and the bath were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and being able to enjoy freshly fried tempura in the morning felt like a luxury. The on-site souvenir shop was well stocked, and our whole family had a wonderful trip to Hikone.

Above all, we were soothed by the Onsen, the meals, and the heartfelt hospitality of all the staff. Thank you very much.

It was a truly wonderful Accommodation. It’s almost right in front of Izumo Taisha—I didn’t realize it would be that close. Having an Accommodation nearby was perfect: we could rest right away after visiting in the heat, and also enjoy the atmosphere around the torii gates of Izumo Taisha early in the morning and late at night. I later learned that this is Mariya Takeuchi’s family home. I often listen to her music, so her vibe and the feel of the Accommodation really seemed to align—I was genuinely impressed. I’d love to come back again someday.

This was my second stay, and even understated, it was outstanding. Last time I took a roundabout route and felt it was far from the station, but this time I came up from the underground level of the building that houses KITTE and reached the Hotel via an air-conditioned route—once outside, it was just a few minutes away. The staff are always very pleasant and kindly explain everything in detail. The Room size is more than sufficient—just right. It had a unit bath, but both the bathtub area and the toilet space were spacious enough. There are cups, glasses, and an electric kettle, and you can pick up as many coffee packs or tea bags as you like at the front desk. It seems there’s also a drink service at the breakfast venue, but I didn’t have time to use it, which was a shame. There’s also a convenience store nearby. One thing I personally love is how many places there are to put things. I like to keep my cosmetics and clothes laid out where I can easily see them during my stay, so having plenty of surfaces makes it truly comfortable. The desk, chair, and mirror are all exactly where you want them—very convenient for skincare and makeup. The Room layout—the design and placement of everything—is really thoughtful. I also appreciate having sturdy slippers instead of those flimsy disposable ones that annoy me. These might be pretty specific preferences, but this Hotel fits me perfectly in every way. I usually don’t bother writing a Review, but this is one Hotel that absolutely makes me want to leave one! I liked it so much that I ended up signing up for membership (lol).

We stayed for three nights. Although it’s a new Hotel and not particularly spacious, we had a very comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the lighting could be adjusted in three levels, which was convenient. The air conditioning worked well throughout the entire Room, making it pleasant. The TV was also large, and we were able to fully enjoy watching sports. When we arrived before check-in, the staff kindly stored our luggage with a smile, which we really appreciated. The Room was kept very clean, and amenities and supplies were replenished perfectly. Our whole family was completely satisfied in every way. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. It was our first time back in Karuizawa in 20 years. We have traveled and stayed at many places as a couple and with family, but this Accommodation was in a class of its own! Our Room was a luxury suite, and everything—the Room, the bath, and the meals—was perfect. I wanted to treat my wife to a spa treatment, but unfortunately there were no openings when I checked just a few days in advance. I regret not contacting them sooner. However, I only mentioned at check-in that it was our 30th anniversary, and they surprised us by adding an anniversary message to the dessert plate at dinner—it truly moved us. The best part may have been the outstanding hospitality from all the staff. Both my wife and I felt genuinely happy throughout our stay. We would love to stay in other areas such as Shizuyo no Mori, Nikko, Hakone, and Kyoto as well, but first we want to come back here again.

This was my third stay. I always feel comfortable here, thanks to the spacious, clean Room with a great view, the rooftop pool, and the lounge. The breakfast you can take back to your Room seems to have changed slightly from before, but I was very satisfied. Although there was an issue this time with a typhoon approaching, I truly appreciate how pleasantly and flexibly you handled everything. I really love Storyline’s atmosphere and service, so I would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed here during our trip to Kagawa. The place felt like a cottage built into the mountain slope, and we enjoyed a truly out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. Everything was wonderful—the Accommodation’s ambiance, the Facility, and the meals—and we were very satisfied. Above all, we were most impressed by how kind and attentive all the staff were. The person who explained the dishes noticed that I’m left-handed and arranged the chopsticks so they were easier for me to use, which really warmed my heart. Thank you very much—we’d love to visit again.

With only 10 Rooms in the entire property and a detached layout, it was very quiet and we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. The Onsen was surprisingly spacious for a 10-room property, and the large windows offered beautiful views of the forest, which was truly soothing. We visited the famous Nyuto Onsen the day before, but the water quality here felt richer—like a silky lotion—and suited my skin better. After bathing, my skin felt amazingly smooth; it really lived up to its reputation as a “beauty bath.” I’d love to come back during the Omagari Fireworks Festival season.

I’ve stayed at this Accommodation many times, and I’m always able to relax. The meals are delicious, and the female staff provide excellent service, making it a very comfortable and satisfying experience. I was also able to unwind in the Room’s bath and enjoy a slow, peaceful pace of time. Of course, I’ll be back again.

We stayed for five nights as a family this time. The baths are wonderful, of course, but all the front desk staff were very kind, making us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. This is our only choice for a Hotel in Akabane!

Although it was my first stay, I felt safe because it is women-only. The toilets and washrooms were clean, and the sleeping area had very comfortable mats, so I slept soundly. I was also truly grateful for the free drinks, ice pops, and the morning curry service. That corner is on the 4th floor, and having to take the stairs was a bit tough, so I’m giving the Facility 4 stars—but I would like to stay again.

Thank you for taking such great care of us the other day. From the moment we arrived and stepped into the lobby, we had an amazing time. The atmosphere, cleanliness, and service throughout the property all exceeded our expectations. Both the Room and terrace were spotless and well maintained, so we were able to relax comfortably. I had injured my foot and was using a cane, so thank you for your thoughtful assistance from check-in through to the restaurant as well. The staff’s hospitality was truly pleasant and wonderful. We would love to stay again!

Choosing Richmond was the right decision. There’s a 24-hour supermarket next door, plenty of parking, and the event venue is also nearby—overall, we were very satisfied!

I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but I may have never felt this comfortable anywhere else. We decided to go to Hakone on short notice and made a Reservation. The food was beyond words—watching it disappear was genuinely sad (in the best way). When my father dropped his napkin and I went to pick it up, a staff member immediately came over and brought a fresh one. Even though our Reservation was last-minute, they also prepared an anniversary message plate for my parents. This is true hospitality! The open-air bath in the Room was pure luxury, and the water felt wonderful. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to return to. Thank you so much!

From the moment we arrived at the Hotel entrance, a staff member ran ahead of our car and guided us all the way to where we should stop in the parking area. We enjoyed the delicious welcome cake and drinks before heading up to our Room. The open-air bath was wonderful, and the view from the adjacent chair was spectacular—at night, under moonlight and a starry sky, it was a peaceful space filled only with the sound of the waves. Our first family trip in a long time as a group of four became an amazing experience thanks to everyone on staff at Kanbara. Thank you very much.

We visited on a three-generation family trip. On the day, strong winds caused the ferry from Shikoku to be canceled. Because we were traveling from far away, the Hotel called to inform us, which we really appreciated. Fortunately, we had planned to come via a port on the Honshu side, so we arrived safely, but their thoughtfulness made us happy. We had two Japanese-style Rooms next to each other. They were typical Japanese-style Rooms and you could feel their age, but they were very clean and well maintained. The view from the Room window was spectacular. When we woke up early, we could also see the sunrise and start the day feeling refreshed. Dinner was served at table seating in a large banquet hall. It was luxurious with local ingredients, and we were completely full. The staff member serving us chatted with us about various things, which was enjoyable. For the sea bream rice cooked in a pot that we couldn’t finish, they kindly made it into rice balls so we could have it as a late-night snack. It was very delicious even when cold. We caused extra work for them, but we were truly grateful. Breakfast was buffet-style, with a wide variety of dishes and very satisfying. The large public bath also had an amazing view. The washing area was spacious and there was no waiting at all. It was thoroughly cleaned as well, which pleased us. In the early morning bath time, surprisingly many guests were already up early too, and it felt open and relaxing—a wonderful bath. I don’t think the building itself is new, but because everything was kept so clean it was very comfortable and pleasant to stay here. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. There were many smiles among the staff and they greeted us properly—it’s a Hotel where you can really feel how good their hospitality is.
