    It was very good.

    Conveniently located in front of the station with a convenience store on the first floor, a comfortable Room, plenty of amenities, and courteous service—I was very satisfied. The much-talked-about breakfast exceeded my expectations. In addition to Morioka’s three famous noodle dishes, I could also enjoy pho. Everything was delicious. The staff seemed highly capable and managed the dining area smoothly. They also kindly stored my luggage after checkout, which was very helpful.

    Close to the station...

    Close to the station, and the rooms are new and spotless. All of the staff were kind and attentive, so I was able to relax during my stay. If I come to Morioka again, I’d love to stay here again.

    Although it’s right by the station, it was quiet.

    It’s located right in front of Morioka Station, but there are many Hotels clustered around the area, so I got a little lost arriving by car (lol). During this long trip, I used the in-house coin laundry many times, and at this Hotel you can check the laundry status on the TV screen. Also—maybe due to the machine model—it dried thoroughly, which was very helpful. At other Hotels, my clothes sometimes stayed slightly damp. One minor issue was that there was no light at the sink area, which made it hard to do my makeup.

    First Stay

    The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and I felt comfortable staying here. Thank you very much. The Room is small, but it was great that the bath, toilet, and washbasin were separate.

    Excellent value for money.

    Excellent value for money. The breakfast was varied and delicious. It was also great that from 12:00, the breakfast venue is opened up with unlimited soft drinks. The staff were kind, and the woman at checkout in particular was excellent. Please pass on my thanks.

    We stayed here as a family during the Golden Week holidays.

    We stayed as a family during Golden Week. We used Child Sharing Existing Bedding with our elementary-school child. Check-in was self-service with staff assistance, and unlike some Hotels where you have to re-enter information even after entering it on IKYU, the data was properly carried over here, so we were able to check in smoothly with just a signature. We also used the hometown tax donation program and were able to stay at a great value; it was smooth via IKYU as well. In the lobby, you pick up amenities yourself, and everything we needed was available. The Room was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice if there were children’s slippers, but we had no particular complaints. On the 2nd floor there is a drink bar open until 8:00 p.m., which is great for getting some work done in a relaxed space. However, staff didn’t seem to come by often, so around 8:00 p.m. paper cups and hot water sometimes ran out; other cups were available though, so it wasn’t an issue unless you needed something to take away. Checkout was also smooth—just insert your card and you’re done—so we didn’t waste any extra time. We left early so we didn’t have breakfast, but the menu looked good. I think it cost around JPY 2,300; it seems like a good option for those who feel that price is worth it. There is an affiliated parking lot next door, but since it’s shared with other Hotels it was full and we couldn’t get in, so we parked at a nearby lot instead. The price felt about the same as using the affiliated discount; if anything, given how often nearby lots are full too, I was grateful to find parking at all. One thing I would have liked is a large public bath. These days many station-area Hotels offer one as well, so having one here would make this place ideal.

    There were facial sheet masks available, and I used one right away. I didn’t notice them when I stayed before... That’s a big plus!

    The TV’s “Restaurant...

    The TV’s “Restaurant Crowding Status” display did not match the actual situation, so that may be the only area for improvement, but overall I was satisfied. I will stay here again on my next visit to Morioka. Thank you as well for the Room upgrade.

    Clean and in a great location.

    In this Plan, I was looking forward to using the Minami pillow and the airweave mattress, but they were too firm, so I didn’t sleep well and couldn’t fully recover from fatigue. However, it was great to be able to freely use the high-end ReFa hair dryer and hair iron, as well as the shower. The single Room was small, but it was very clean and comfortable. Having a coin laundry available during a Multiple Night Stay is a big plus. Above all, the location is excellent—right in front of Morioka Station, with a Lawson convenience store inside the Hotel. It was extremely convenient. Thank you to the front desk staff for their kind service and to the housekeeping team for keeping my Room in great condition. When I visit Morioka again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

    Could not relax.

    The sofa, which doubles as a bed, was uncomfortable to sit on. There was no space to place items, and without a wardrobe, there was nowhere to put clothing. I paid for a movie but couldn't hear it even at maximum volume. Overall, I couldn't relax at all. Despite the Facility being new, I found this Hotel disappointing.

    Comfortable and Well-Equipped Facility

    Upon check-in, I was moved to the women-only floor, and the ReFa hairdryer and stand mirror were very convenient. The breakfast lived up to its reputation with great variety and quality, leaving me very satisfied. The bathtub was quite spacious, allowing for a relaxing experience. The lobby decorations, including a festive Christmas tree fitting for the season, added a warm touch. I would love to try other Richmond Hotels in different cities as well.

    A wonderful Hotel.

    The room's size and cleanliness were impeccable. The breakfast was very delicious. The location in front of Morioka Station is extremely convenient, and I would love to stay again.

    The staff training is excellent.

    I came from Osaka, where the Expo was held. Osaka now has many hotels being built, but most rely on cheap foreign labor and lack quality. In contrast, this accommodation is mostly staffed by Japanese (with one foreign staff member at the breakfast venue), and all staff in the dining area and cleaning are kind and attentive. From the room and breakfast venue, you can see Morioka Station, which lifts your spirits. The breakfast was delicious as mentioned in other reviews. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Morioka!

    Hotel with an excellent location

    ① The bottom of the shower curtain in the bathroom had a damp smell. It might not be noticeable when using the shower, but since I filled the tub, it was at face level. ② It would have been even better if the staff at the lobby and breakfast area smiled a bit more. Other than that, the location was excellent, cleanliness was thorough, and meals were delicious—overall a great Hotel.

    Visited Morioka for ...

    Visited Morioka for my son's wedding and stayed at the Richmond Hotel, which I had always wanted to try. The room was clean, but the toilet paper holder was too close to the toilet, making it difficult to use. The bathroom with a washing area was nice, but the faucet was positioned too low and inconvenient to use. Although it was a twin room, there was only one room key provided, which made it challenging as we always had to move together. At checkout, I requested multiple shipments for my luggage; however, there were issues with incorrect delivery addresses. Despite these points, I found the breakfast delicious and appreciated the cleanliness of the room overall.

    Hotel near Morioka Station

    There is an underground passage to Morioka Station right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient. The hotel is well-maintained and very clean. The room we stayed in was a corner room, so it was spacious, and having separate toilet and bathroom facilities was an added advantage. There is also a convenience store on the first floor, which is handy for sudden shopping needs. Additionally, there are many famous restaurants nearby that serve Morioka cold noodles.

    Close to the station, very clean, and extremely pleasant.

    Thoughtful and practical considerations can be felt throughout the property. There is a Lawson convenience store on the first floor, which is very convenient. Located right in front of the station, I enjoyed breakfast while watching the Shinkansen pass by. The breakfast was all very delicious. The face mask provided was excellent and felt wonderful to use. I truly appreciated the sincere efforts of all staff members and found it very impressive. Wishing you continued success despite your busy schedules!

    The bed is comfortable.

    The Compact Twin room feels spacious even for two guests, with a user-friendly desk by the window and an efficient layout. While the bathroom being a unit type is slightly disappointing, it was very clean, and the south-facing view allowed us to enjoy watching the Shinkansen pass by, which we loved. We didn’t include breakfast this time as we eat lightly in the morning, but it looked delicious and will consider it next time.

    For your trip to Iwate

    A long-awaited family trip. We stayed for one night in Morioka and found this accommodation very convenient with easy access and a parking lot right next door for our rental car. The hotel was new, clean, and user-friendly. We stayed in a triple room with an extra bed for four people, but it didn’t feel cramped at all. The staff were friendly and approachable with smiles, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes for a hotel of this size. Everything was delicious, especially the seafood rice bowls served in jars. My son even drank two bottles of milk (laughs). I think this is an excellent hotel suitable for both business and leisure stays.

    It was a good Hotel, but

    Stayed on the second day of our Iwate trip. We booked a compact twin room, but due to the hotel's circumstances, we were upgraded to a triple room! The toilet, bath, and sink were separate—an excellent room. Thank you very much. However, one downside was the refrigerator in the room. We set it to its maximum cooling level (5) because we wanted it to cool quickly. In the middle of the night, it started making loud noises that woke us up... That was disappointing. Also, before our stay, we received an email with information about a partnered parking lot's address and searched for it using GPS navigation. However, we ended up at a location quite far from the hotel—not within walking distance as stated (1 minute). In a rush, we searched for and parked near the hotel instead but were surprised to find that the partnered parking lot was right next door! If only there had been clearer instructions like "next door on the west side" or "east side," we would have set our destination as the hotel itself in navigation systems instead of relying on an incorrect parking address provided in your email. For travelers unfamiliar with this area driving at night like us—it was quite stressful! (I’ve attached photos from your email; please verify if there’s an error in your parking lot address.) That said—the breakfast buffet at this Hotel was highly satisfying and amenities were top-notch!

    Conveniently located near the station

    Very convenient location right in front of the station. There is a Lawson on the first floor, so you can shop quickly without getting wet in the rain. The front desk staff provided polite and clear service, and the Room's bathtub was spacious, allowing for a relaxing soak. However, there were 2-3 long hairs on the toilet floor, which was disappointing. Overall though, it was a comfortable stay.

    A sense of security.

    Richmond Hotel offers an excellent breakfast. In every city, they provide a variety of local dishes, allowing you to enjoy gourmet experiences even on a busy trip. The Room this time had a spacious bathroom, making it very comfortable to relax. The only downside was the grilled fish prepared upon order, which took longer than expected due to the crowd. Although we were told it would take 15 minutes, there was no sign of it being served even after finishing our meal and waiting for some time. Nevertheless, Richmond Hotel provides a sense of reliability. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Comfortable, with excellent meals!

    The Room is well-organized with a table and stand neatly placed by the window, giving a spacious feel beyond its actual size. The bathtub is large and user-friendly. Amenities are well-prepared, and while the service is delightful, it might be cost-effective to place them at reception as some guests may take more than necessary. The meals are excellent, featuring delicious Iwate cuisine, yogurt, and milk. The variety is abundant, with every dish being flavorful and of high quality. I look forward to staying again!

    Excellent.

    Thank you for the room with a great view on the top floor. The view of Morioka Station and beyond was wonderful. The Room was clean, spacious, and the table and shelves in the washroom were very convenient to use. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing slippers in white non-woven fabric bags instead of plastic ones. The breakfast was not monotonous but included various local dishes, which were very delicious. At checkout, when I borrowed scissors to remove a delivery tag from my travel bag, an Indian staff member at the front desk kindly helped me remove it as it had become difficult to take off—this was very helpful. As with my previous stay, I was extremely satisfied this time as well. Since I love Morioka cold noodles, I will definitely stay again in the future. Thank you in advance!

    A Hotel with Convenient and Delicious Breakfast

    Very convenient location right in front of the station. Having a Lawson on the first floor makes it even more convenient. The Deluxe Double room is spacious and comes with a clothing cleaner (a modern appliance that removes odors and wrinkles), which is great. The mattress, sheets, and pillows are all very comfortable, making this my go-to accommodation. The breakfast venue can get crowded, and it seemed challenging for the staff to manage seating arrangements. Although there were two empty seats by the window, I was told they were for single diners only; however, later two people were seated there, which was disappointing. Regarding cultural differences, some guests brought large empty bottles to fill up at breakfast—perhaps it's time to consider addressing such behaviors with appropriate guidance. As for the food itself, everything was delicious as expected from Royal accommodations. I especially enjoyed having sweet potatoes available and loved being able to drink Kuzumaki Highland Milk every morning as well as during lounge hours throughout the day—it was fantastic!

    It was great.

    Conveniently located right in front of Morioka Station, the building is new, and the interior feels classical yet simply functional, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. Amenities are available to pick up as needed at reception, which avoids waste. Also, drinks were freely available from the afternoon on the breakfast floor, so I could relax with a cup after returning from walking around town. Being able to watch the Hayabusa and Komachi Shinkansen coupling from the window was an unexpectedly fun highlight. Although the weather wasn’t great that day, umbrellas were provided for getting around town, and overall it offered more than enough services as a functional Business Hotel. Check-in and check-out can be done by machine, but there was also genuinely kind support from the staff—very satisfying. It was my first time visiting Morioka, and both the city and its people were wonderful. It’s quite far from where I live, but I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.
