    A kind Hotel with excellent hospitality.

    This is a spacious corner twin room with panoramic views of the Onomichi Channel and the area around the station. I also appreciated that the floor was not carpet but a well-cleaned wood floor. A lovely touch was the hassaku jelly in the refrigerator for each guest, complete with spoons, and chilled bottled water for everyone as well. The handmade cookies made in collaboration with a local social welfare corporation also left a great impression. These days, even branded city hotels often don’t provide complimentary water, so I truly appreciate this Hotel’s warm hospitality. It was also nice that Accommodation guests receive 10% off at the souvenir shop. Breakfast was excellent too—not only with locally sourced ingredients, but also soft-serve ice cream. From the moment I arrived at Onomichi Station, even the station staff were full of energy, and I could feel how the whole town supports one another and works together to keep things lively. Some shops have closed down, but the shopping street—where retro and modern coexist—is a must-see. Since it was a hot season, it was tough to walk for long periods and I couldn’t see everything I wanted to. I’d love to visit again in a cooler season and stay at the same Hotel at a more relaxed pace.

    Right in front of On...

    Right in front of Onomichi Station It was a very convenient and excellent Hotel. In this heat, the complimentary ice pops were the best. Breakfast was at counter seats facing the sea (harbor). Everything was delicious. Thank you very much.

    One night’s stay before heading back to my parents’ home

    On our way from the Kanto area to visit family with our child, we wanted to take it easy near Onomichi Station, so we stayed for one night. Before the 3:00 PM check-in time, our child fell asleep. When we came back drenched in sweat, the staff kindly showed us to our Room a little early, which was a huge help. However, since I was holding my child, I couldn’t carry all of our luggage at once, so I would have appreciated a bit more consideration there (laugh). In the end, they kept it for us and we picked it up later. We’ve stayed here several times; the location is great and it’s one of my favorite Hotels. The Room was clean and easy to use. I’d like to stay again.

    Close to the station and very clean.

    When we arrived around noon, the front desk immediately recommended a delicious ramen restaurant and a dessert shop. It was a clean Hotel near the station.

    The location is excellent. Although the building is somewhat old, it is well maintained; however, there was a sense of lingering odors that have built up over the years. Thank you.

    Highly recommended!

    The Room was simple, clean, and spacious enough to be comfortable. Best of all, it’s conveniently close to the station. I also appreciated the complimentary local specialty snacks and drinks provided in the Room. All of the staff were wonderful—always smiling and very kind.

    Enjoy Onomichi

    Although the Hotel name feels like a typical Business Hotel, the Room was spacious, comfortable, and pleasant to stay in. On weekdays, from the window of a harbor-view Room, you can enjoy one scene after another: cranes working across the water, ships coming and going from the dock, ferries crossing, and workboats passing by. The snacks and drinks in the Room also reflect thoughtful hospitality. The port cafeteria inside the Hotel offers 20% off for guests, and the staff were kind.

    This was my first stay. The Accommodation faces the Onomichi Channel and offers a great view. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious and truly outstanding. I’d like to make this my regular place to stay.

    Accommodation in Front of Onomichi Station

    I made a Reservation for an Accommodation in front of Onomichi Station for sightseeing in Onomichi. It is a Hotel located on the upper floors of the port terminal, right in front of the station. Because it is an Accommodation near the station, it was easy to find places to eat and shop. On the front desk floor, there were a dining area and lobby, as well as a shop and coin laundry. The Room I reserved faced the Seto Inland Sea, and water and snacks were provided (which I appreciated). The Room Facility included everything I needed, so I didn’t feel anything was missing. Breakfast was served buffet-style at the dining area on the second floor. There was a wide selection including local dishes, and everything was delicious. That’s all. I had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

    It was even better than expected!

    I chose this Hotel because it seemed conveniently close to the station, but after actually staying there, it was even better than I expected. While it isn’t luxurious, the Room was clean and had all the amenities I needed, making it very comfortable. There were also many nice touches—like a Dyson hair dryer, welcome sweets in the Room, and drip coffee. The breakfast was excellent as well, with such a wide variety of both Japanese and Western dishes that it was hard to choose. The drink selection was also great. Enjoying a delicious breakfast in the dining area with a beautiful view was the best. Everyone who assisted me—the front desk staff, dining staff, and housekeeping—was very kind, and I had a truly pleasant stay. I would definitely love to return, and I would absolutely recommend it to any friends planning to visit Onomichi!

    A very user-friendly...

    A very user-friendly Hotel. You can leave your luggage before and after check-in. Close to the station, clean, reasonably priced, and the joy of overlooking the Onomichi Channel (lol). The pier is right in front, and Onomichi WHARF is also downstairs—much appreciated when your feet are tired from sightseeing. Because it’s popular, Reservations for seasons with pleasant weather fill up quite quickly. This time I wanted to see the cherry blossoms, so I snagged the last available Room on a weekday at the last minute. It was my first double Room, but it didn’t feel as cramped as I’d worried, and it was very comfortable. In the Room there was an air purifier; complimentary lemonade and cookies; free bottled water in the fridge; and even free hassaku jelly. There were umbrellas in the closet, and a massage chair near the elevators as well. A truly traveler-friendly Hotel!

    It was a Hotel I’d love to stay at again!

    It was an even more wonderful stay than I had imagined. The location was excellent, and it was very helpful to be able to return several times between sightseeing to rest and reorganize our luggage. Breakfast while looking out at the sea was also relaxing and became a memorable time. The front desk staff were warm rather than businesslike, and I was especially impressed by how kindly they answered any questions I had, including at the breakfast venue. I also thought it was lovely that the name of the housekeeping staff member was written in the Room—it felt personal and heartfelt. Next time, I would definitely like to stay here with my family. Thank you very much.

    A buffet meal while watching boats pass along the Onomichi Channel

    The night before, we arrived late and missed the night cruise we had booked. Still, since it was raining, we accepted it and went to a nearby izakaya for an Onomichi ramen set meal before returning to our Room. An elderly couple nearing our 40th wedding anniversary enjoyed a rare little trip just the two of us. The next morning, under a clear blue sky, we headed to the restaurant behind the front desk and found counter seats lined up facing large ocean-view windows. Across the water, the Japan Coast Guard vessel “Tsuruga” was moored with a “Preparing to Depart” sign displayed, and after 8:00 it slowly left the harbor. Watching planes take off and land at an airport or trains at a station is wonderful too, but sitting by an ocean-view window and taking our time over the breakfast buffet was truly special. Soon, when the cherry blossoms bloom, the area around Senkoji will surely become lively as well. Saying that we’d like to come back again when it gets warmer to enjoy this view once more, we left the Hotel.

    Spacious and comfortable

    The hotel is conveniently located near the station, and the twin Room was spacious and comfortable. The Onomichi ramen you recommended was also very delicious, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming with warm smiles.

    A classic Onomichi sightseeing experience

    I’ve stayed here several times, but this time was a bit disappointing. As others may have mentioned, the air conditioning wasn’t great. It was a warm day during my stay and I wanted to use the cooling function, but only heating and fan mode were available… Everything else was good, which made it all the more disappointing.

    No toilet cleaning.

    After check-in, when I tried to use the toilet in the Room, I found stains on the toilet seat. I wiped it immediately with a disinfectant wipe, but it still felt unhygienic. During cleaning the next day, I asked the housekeeping staff directly and was told they had finished cleaning without wiping it, so I had them come into the Room to clean it properly. The Room also had an old smell. I stayed here because of the convenient location near the station, but I would not stay again.

    A Classic Hotel in Onomichi

    This is a quiet Hotel near the station and close to the sea. This time, my Room was upgraded to one with an ocean view. Amenities were available for self-service in front of the front desk, which was great with no waste. In the Room, there were sweets perfect for relaxing, such as hassaku jelly, baked treats, and a ginger honey drink—ideal for a refreshing break. Breakfast was also delicious, with both Japanese and Western options available buffet-style. I will stay here again.

    It was worth more than the price.

    From Seto Ohashi to Onomichi I chose this accommodation for its location, and the room was spacious with a larger unit bath, making it very comfortable. It was extremely quiet, allowing me to rest well from the fatigue of travel. The breakfast exceeded expectations for a business hotel menu and was highly satisfying. The room's refrigerator included Hassaku jelly, snacks, and ginger tea as part of the excellent service that left me impressed. The cleaning was thorough, and the towels were fluffy Imabari towels. Guests received a 10% discount on souvenirs, making it easy to purchase gifts at a great value. Although this accommodation was just a stopover during my trip, I left fully satisfied and headed towards Shimanami Kaido.

    A wonderful Hotel.

    The stay was very comfortable. The service was excellent, and the interior design of the Room was quite stylish. The view of the harbor from the Room's window was very enjoyable. Although compact, it did not feel cramped. I would definitely like to stay here again if I visit Onomichi.

    Room Change at the Hotel

    If you want to relax in the morning during your stay, noise from the elevator at night or conversations near the hall can be quite bothersome. I usually request to avoid rooms near the elevator hall, but this time, upon check-in, I was assigned a room right next to the elevator. When I asked for a room change at the front desk, it seemed they hadn't checked my message but promptly changed my room. The quick response was appreciated. The new room was quiet and comfortable. Although I deducted one star due to the facility being old, the customer service and cleanliness were excellent overall. Conveniently located in front of the station, I would consider staying here again if given another opportunity.

    Had a great trip.

    Great value for money. The location is excellent, and the Room was spacious and clean. However, the ventilation in the Room was weak, causing it to retain heat. Morning condensation made it hard to enjoy the view. It would be nice if the window could open even slightly. The hassaku jelly and cookies provided in the Room were delicious. I also appreciated that souvenirs were sold at a 10% discount. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was very tasty. It would be nice if there were small cups or bowls for items like chirimen or seaweed tsukudani to portion them out easily. Overall, I was satisfied and would love to stay at this Hotel again!

    Long time no see!

    I stayed here again after a long time. As always, the place was clean and I had a comfortable stay. All the staff were very friendly, and even the morning cleaning staff greeted me with smiles, which made for a pleasant start to the day. This time breakfast was included, but I couldn't take advantage of it due to my schedule. I'll make sure to try it next time. I look forward to staying here again!

    The room was very comfortable. I was happy to find the jelly I had been curious about in the refrigerator. The breakfast was also delicious. I thought the staff's pleasant service was excellent.

    I stayed at the Hote...

    I stayed at the Hotel during my trip along the Sanyo Road by the Seto Inland Sea. It was conveniently located near the station, with great views, perfect for both walking and relaxing. The cost-performance was excellent. I had both dinner and breakfast there, and they were both wonderful. There were many Western guests, creating a lively yet comfortable atmosphere with cheerful children's voices adding to the charm. For dinner, I ordered a glass of the most affordable sake, and it was delicious. Since Hiroshima is famous for its sake, it might be nice to feature more local sake prominently on the menu. Additionally, as Hiroshima is home to two of the world's largest basketball manufacturers, it would be great if basketball-related products could be offered (some were available at a souvenir shop near the station). I had a very pleasant stay—thank you!

    Conveniently located near the station.

    We stayed as a group of three and enjoyed the great view of the Onomichi Waterway. We were able to relax comfortably with regular beds instead of simple ones. Since it was a weekday, it cost about 8,000 yen per person without meals, but we were very satisfied with amenities like Hassaku jelly and mineral water provided. The unit bath was clean and had a sense of cleanliness.

    I reserved the large...

    I reserved the largest room with an ocean view. It had two windows, offering a beautiful and atmospheric night view. The room was also lovely and very relaxing. Breakfast had significantly fewer options compared to recent hotels. Partnering with local vendors in Onomichi to offer local dishes could make the trip even more enjoyable. It would also be nice if souvenirs were available for purchase. While the town promotes cycling, we opted for driving instead. Being close to the Shimanami Kaido, we used it as a base to visit places like Okunoshima, Imabari, and Tomonoura. Parking discounts are available as well. There is a convenience store nearby, and the station is just around the corner where you can buy Onomichi souvenirs at its front. A tourist map of nearby attractions would have been helpful for taking walks around the hotel area. There was also a wonderful bar directly connected to the hotel. I’d love to visit again if I get another chance—thank you!
