    I reserved the large...

    I reserved the largest room with an ocean view. It had two windows, offering a beautiful and atmospheric night view. The room was also lovely and very relaxing. Breakfast had significantly fewer options compared to recent hotels. Partnering with local vendors in Onomichi to offer local dishes could make the trip even more enjoyable. It would also be nice if souvenirs were available for purchase. While the town promotes cycling, we opted for driving instead. Being close to the Shimanami Kaido, we used it as a base to visit places like Okunoshima, Imabari, and Tomonoura. Parking discounts are available as well. There is a convenience store nearby, and the station is just around the corner where you can buy Onomichi souvenirs at its front. A tourist map of nearby attractions would have been helpful for taking walks around the hotel area. There was also a wonderful bar directly connected to the hotel. I’d love to visit again if I get another chance—thank you!

    The view of the Onomichi Waterway from the Room is spectacular.

    This was my first visit to Onomichi. The view of the Onomichi Channel from the Harbor View Room was spectacular. Additionally, it was conveniently located just a short distance from Onomichi Station, making it ideal for sightseeing. There was complimentary Innoshima Hassaku jelly in the room's refrigerator, which I enjoyed very much.

    Breakfast is excellent!

    The location, service, and cleanliness were all excellent, allowing for a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including many handmade dishes using local ingredients, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

    Conveniently Located Hotel Near the Station

    Located just steps from the station and facing the sea. The Hotel was older than I had imagined, which initially left me a bit disappointed. However, unexpected surprises like hassaku jelly, lemonade, and a Dyson hairdryer made me happy. Thank you for your hospitality.

    A Comfortable Hotel

    The location was excellent, and I had a very pleasant stay. It was a corner Room, spacious and clean. I stayed for three nights, and every time I returned to the Room, it felt like coming home. It would have been perfect if there had been a large public bath.

    It is not a luxurious Hotel, but it is conveniently located in front of the station and the sea, surrounded by many promenades and restaurants, making it a wonderful place to stay.

    The Room offered a great view of the ferry and the shipyard beautifully lit up at night. The Room was clean and user-friendly. Breakfast was delicious and cost-effective. It is also conveniently located for sightseeing in Onomichi.

    Adequate and balanced services

    I chose this accommodation near the JR station during my trip around Setouchi, which turned into a solo journey midway. Although I planned to travel to Setoda, the nearby ferry terminal made it very convenient. The view of Onomichi Channel and Mukaishima from the restaurant was stunning. The simple guest room, along with amenities and attentive service, provided a comfortable and pleasant stay without any shortcomings.

    Seaside Hotel

    The Hotel is located right next to the port and conveniently situated in front of Onomichi Station, making it ideal for travelers using the train. For those arriving by car, you can use the adjacent municipal parking lot, and the Hotel will partially cover your parking fee. Breakfast is served buffet-style with a focus on Japanese cuisine. While it offers a higher standard than typical Business Hotel breakfasts, it may feel slightly lacking compared to other hotels listed on IKYU.com.

    This time, during a trip in the wind and rain, the hotel accommodation was an oasis.

    Arrived in Onomichi on the first day to rain and wind, but continued with sightseeing as planned. By evening, it was still raining, so instead of going to the restaurant recommended by the Hotel, I went straight to the oyster shop on the first floor. Since I love oysters, everything on the menu looked tempting and tasted amazing—it was a perfect night. The Room was also excellent and very satisfying. On the second day, I had a Japanese-style breakfast which was delicious and absolutely wonderful. I think this Hotel is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Thank you very much!

    Regular Accommodation in Onomichi

    This is my go-to hotel when staying in Onomichi. It's not easy to reserve a sea-view room, but the ocean view from the hotel's lobby, elevator hall on the accommodation floors, and restaurant is stunning. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, quiet, and relaxing. Breakfast is reasonably priced, delicious, and offers a variety of options. It's a hotel I would love to stay at again and again.

    If you want to enjoy the view of the Onomichi Waterway, this is the place.

    I had a pleasant stay at the Onomichi tourist hub. I fully enjoyed the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, especially the Onomichi Channel. The sunset, night view, the comings and goings of ships, and in the early morning, students waiting for the ferry to go to school. Of course, the sunrise as well. I could feel the warm hospitality in the breakfast. I enjoyed the gratin with slightly crunchy onions, wondering if it was homemade. I rated the bath at the Business Hotel a 4 due to the inevitable cramped feeling. Everything else was satisfactory. Thank you for your hospitality.

    I'm glad I chose this place.

    After cycling the Shimanami Kaido, stayed overnight. Powdered lemon drink, mineral water in the refrigerator, and hassaku jelly were provided as a service. Since it was after an evening cycling, both were delicious. It was a very good hotel for solo travelers, located just near Onomichi Station.

    The room size and breakfast were good, the staff's response was excellent, and above all, it was close to the station, with rental bicycles nearby and the port also close, making access superb! Thank you for storing our luggage and recommending places to eat and drink even after check-out! We look forward to staying again next time.

    This was my first ti...

    This was my first time staying here. The hotel staff were very pleasant, and I had a comfortable stay. The building is old, but the interior is kept clean, and even with three people, we were able to use the space comfortably. I only had breakfast, but the buffet had a wide variety and was delicious, which was satisfying. Thank you.
