    A Trip for Two with Mom

    I visited with my elderly mother. Since it was a carefree trip for just the two of us, we appreciated being left to enjoy ourselves at our own pace. The meals were very simple, but I think the portions were sufficient for women.

    Good.

    The staff were all pleasant, the Room was clean, and the amenities were well-equipped, which was great. Both breakfast and dinner were hearty and delicious. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

    Overall, it was comfortable.

    Overall, we were satisfied, but we felt the following areas could be improved (feedback from all four of us): Dinner: The flavor of the lobster and egg dish was too mild. Stone Sauna: The timer resets easily when touched accidentally, there is no clock inside the room, and the clock in the bathroom is hard to read due to its design. Room: We would have appreciated prior notice about staff entering to prepare futons; it was also too warm at night even without heating, making it difficult to sleep well. We would like to stay again if we have another opportunity. Thank you very much!

    I enjoyed the stone ...

    I enjoyed the stone sauna, which was very relaxing. The presentation of the meals was elegant and delightful. While the portion size might feel a bit small for men, it seemed just right for women to enjoy comfortably. However, the Wi-Fi connection was weak and occasionally disconnected, which was disappointing. Additionally, considering it was winter, the comforter felt a bit thin and might be cold for some guests.

    The meals were delicious!

    I used the time sale to complete the reservation. As mentioned in the reviews, the meals offered a variety of small portions, and I enjoyed everything, including the delicious Crêpes Suzette. The welcome drink included unlimited wine, juice, and coffee, along with some food options. It was nice to check in early and enjoy a relaxing tea time. However, it was disappointing that there were no baskets on the shelves in the bath area, so items had to be placed directly. Additionally, overflowing trash made it less pleasant. The cost performance is good, and they seem to focus on their meals. Balancing these points out, I would like to visit again if I have another opportunity. As mentioned in reviews, all staff members were very pleasant and welcoming.

    It was excellent.

    Accommodation for two women in their 50s. A compact accommodation with great points: - Unlimited red and white wine as a welcome drink. - Coffee is brought to you by the staff. - Dinner is recommended for those who enjoy small portions of delicious dishes, and watching the crepes being prepared in front of you during dessert was fun. - With fewer rooms, it was quiet without encountering other guests, and there was no sense of crowding in the bath area. - The free private rock bath for 45 minutes is a rare service elsewhere. Since there’s no view, this hotel is more about enjoying your stay rather than the scenery. Wi-Fi connection can be unstable at times; improving this would be appreciated. We visited Atami Sakura as recommended by the staff—thank you!

    The cleanliness of the bathroom is poor.

    It was a cozy and comfortable property, but unfortunately, the floor of the large public bath's changing room was soaking wet, the trash bin was overflowing with garbage, and the washbasins and chairs in the bathroom were covered with grime and not properly cleaned. Without these issues, it would have been a property I would want to visit again.

    Stayed with three wo...

    Stayed with three women. With a discount, it was an exceptional price of 16,000 yen in Atami. There might not be such good value for money elsewhere. The onsen was pleasant, the stone sauna was free, and the meals were just right and delicious for women in their 60s. After check-in, we enjoyed light snacks, wine, and soft drinks at the lounge—a delightful service. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were dry; wrapping them would have been better... I thought. Also, an hour before the lounge closed, sandwiches were removed so those who came later couldn't have any. It's sad that it's first come first served. Also, as for breakfast's clay pot rice? It was slightly cold and not enough for all three to have seconds. Since we stayed reasonably priced here, I didn't expect more than this.

    Crepe Suzette, an unexpected delight

    Since it is Atami, the hot spring water was excellent. The Hotel is not too large in scale, so it was comfortable as the baths were never crowded no matter when we went. The meals were delicious, but what stood out the most was the dessert during dinner—a genuine Crêpe Suzette. It was flambéed with orange right in front of us, just like at Henri Charpentier, and it was absolutely delightful.

    Very satisfying stay

    Meals included welcome drinks and snacks, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The room had an open-air bath, which made for a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, allowing for a luxurious experience, and it became a great memory. On the way back, since I was alone and the station lockers were under construction and unavailable, I was very grateful to be driven to my desired destination. The staff's service was very pleasant, making for a great trip. The large public bath was spacious and nice. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Stayed in a Japanese-style room on the third floor.

    I made a reservation the evening before and visited. It was convenient to be able to make reservations for the stone sauna on my smartphone. I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath without any crowding. The view from the room on the third floor was ordinary, but I could see the sea in the distance. I had a hearty meal of mini roast beef sandwiches and cake at the restaurant/lounge, so a light meal was sufficient. The mattress in the Japanese-style room was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on, so I think a Western-style room would be better next time.

    Excellent value for money

    I used it for the first time. Since it was a weekday, there were few guests, and I was able to spend my time leisurely. The building is old, but it has a sense of cleanliness and was well-maintained. Also, the staff were very kind and pleasant. The best part was the delicious food! The presentation was vibrant, and the performance of the final dessert was like that of a first-class restaurant. I was touched by the property's thoughtfulness when they provided me with inari sushi as a late-night snack. Private rock bath, billiards, Othello... I would like to use it again.

    A hidden Hotel in Atami?

    A Stays near Kinomiya Station. The Room is also unified with a modern atmosphere, allowing you to relax in the salon, and there are drinks in the Room, making you want to stay longer at the Property. This is my third time using it, and it seems to be a Property that women would appreciate, as there were actually many female guests. I also enjoyed the bedrock bath.

    Savor a leisurely and luxurious time.

    I enjoyed a slightly luxurious solo trip. First, the meals were wonderful. Candles were lit on a large table made from ginkgo wood, and creative dishes were served. Unlike a buffet, waiting for the next dish was a leisurely moment to enjoy. The dinner included performances with flames, and I was pleased with the light snacks provided as a late-night meal. For breakfast (Japanese style), I was worried about finishing the large portion of rice, but I managed to eat it all. The classical BGM also helped to calm my mood. The bath was not very large, but perhaps due to the timing, it was almost like having it all to myself. Since the lobby and dining room are shared, you can enjoy a drink service in the lobby upon arrival. It's nice to pass the time with some cookies while waiting to check in. The door lock of the guest room is a bit unusual, requiring a full turn to open and close. Those accustomed to a Business Hotel might find it confusing. I would have appreciated an explanation when the key was handed over. Once you understand, it's no big deal, but others in different rooms were also puzzled. The location of the Facility is a bit hard to find. I walked from Atami Station but got lost along the way (Atami has many slopes). There is a bus from Atami Station, so I recommend using the bus if possible. (There is also a Hotel Shuttle Service from Kinomiya Station) Nearby, there is a large shrine called Kinomiya Jinja (Kinomiya Shrine). I highly recommend visiting. It's a power spot in Atami and attracts many tourists. The large camphor tree and waterfall were also soothing to the soul.

    Satisfied with the meal.

    The dinner was very delicious with a wide variety of dishes, and the waiter's service skills were on par with those of a first-class hotel, which made me very satisfied. The dessert flambé was particularly good. The bedrock bath was also pleasant. The view from the bath was a bit disappointing, but the temperature of the hot spring was just to my liking and felt great. Overall, it was good, but I felt the driving of the wagon that picked me up at the station was a bit rough, but I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

    It's a pleasant inn!

    This was my first visit. I was first reassured by the clean and comfortable interior, and enjoyed the welcome drink and snacks in a relaxed manner. The limited number of rooms made it quiet and peaceful, and the large public bath was never crowded, which was great. I experienced the stone sauna for the first time and really liked it. As mentioned in the reviews, the staff's service was kind, with just the right amount of distance, allowing for a pleasant stay. The food was full of seasonal flavors, and the care put into it was evident. It was an experience beyond my expectations, making me feel almost guilty for the value received! I plan to visit again someday with a different room type.
