A fully serviced Hotel with everything you need.
We searched for an all-inclusive, ocean-view Hotel with breakfast and dinner buffets and a pool, and stayed here as a family during our summer vacation. The wide variety of all-inclusive options, the breakfast and dinner buffets with live cooking stations, the pool, and the many types of Onsen were all wonderful. We also enjoyed the free soap-making activity with our child. Everyone at the Hotel was truly kind. They always greeted us with smiles and attentive service, never showing any sign of being busy or affected by the heat. We were deeply impressed by their hospitality and were able to relax at a very leisurely pace. Even during the Shuttle Service on our departure day, they saw us off at the bus despite how busy mornings are—we were touched until the very end. We would definitely like to stay again. It was an amazing summer memory for both children and adults—everything was taken care of.

Wonderful—are we only cooking now?

Both dinner and breakfast were excellent.
It felt like a large resort from the good old days, thoughtfully renovated and well operated. While there are many places where its age can’t be hidden, it offers a wide variety of amenities and activities, and we were satisfied enough that one night and two days didn’t feel like enough. The all-inclusive dinner and breakfast—the property’s main selling point—were excellent considering the price range. The lounge was also convenient to use before and after bathing in the free-flowing hot spring. The only disappointment was the smell when entering the Room. Closing the sliding door between the entryway and the Room and turning on the humidifying air purifier in the Room gradually made it less noticeable, but it still bothered me every time I walked in until the end. Still, if asked whether it was good or bad, I would say without hesitation that it was good—an Accommodation I’d be happy to stay at again when I get another chance.

All-you-can-eat and ...
All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink starts from the moment you arrive at the Hotel. When we arrived around 2:30 p.m., guests in the lobby were already eating and drinking. They even let us check in before 3:00 p.m., so we enjoyed beer and snacks while waiting to enter our Room, and since the Room was ready before 3:00 p.m., we were able to get in early. After that, it was pure bliss—soaking in the Onsen and enjoying drinks. The food was delicious; I felt it was even better than Juraku in Minakami Onsen. Even though it’s a buffet, the sashimi was fresh and tasty. Breakfast is available until around 10:00 a.m., so even if you go later, you can enjoy a relaxed meal. It had a fun atmosphere like an Onsen Hotel theme park.

We will use your service again.
My wife and I stay here several times every year. This time, we brought our grandchild (4th grade) with us. Our grandchild was very happy and even said, “Bring me again!” We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again.

This is my third stay at Juraku.
I’ve stayed at Manza Juraku and Minakami Juraku, and this time I stayed here. The guest room has been renovated and is clean, but it still had an “old Accommodation” smell… Even with ventilation and deodorizing spray, it didn’t really go away. Honestly, Minakami was so outstanding that the meals here felt a bit underwhelming. I’d like to see more lounge snacks and a few more beer options. The late-night soup was delicious. The small craft-making experience was great. I visited during the rainy season, so I couldn’t use the foot bath because of the rain.

An Accommodation with abundant hot spring water and free-flowing natural spring baths. We request improvements to safety and hygiene management.
I stayed for two nights, but the meals were almost the same, which was disappointing. Guests on a Multiple Night Stay—including international guests—may stay three nights or more, so if at least a few dishes changed every other day, I think guests could enjoy their meals without feeling disappointed. When I requested at the tempura station “two asparagus instead of shrimp,” I was told, “At this time it’s fixed as a set,” and two portions (two sets) were forced on us. The tempura staff member the previous day accommodated us pleasantly. Even when it involves allergies or ingredients someone does not like, there are staff who do not respond flexibly because “it’s decided by operation,” and responses vary depending on the staff member. Also, when taking watermelon for dessert, you had to open the left door to get the watermelon and open the right door to get the tongs, which was inconvenient. As for the synthesizer performer, I couldn’t understand what was being said over the microphone—it felt like talking to oneself. Also, since there were no songs children would know, I would appreciate it if even one song that both children and adults know could be played (the child at the next table got bored and started jumping onto tables and chairs). The late-night soup was lukewarm, which was disappointing. Since it is offered anyway, hot soup would be better. This may be just my impression, but when live-kitchen staff take orders or ask questions of guests they speak directly; while they can’t say droplets won’t spread, wearing a mask would feel more reassuring from a hygiene standpoint. Also, I felt it was unhygienic that rice paddles were kept in “cloudy water with rice grains.” Hot rice → water → hot rice → water repeated over and over raises the water temperature and makes bacteria more likely to grow (especially when there are many rice grains and little water), even if residual chlorine helps suppress it. The water used for staff ice-cream scoops also remained cloudy and was not replaced. It would be more hygienic if tongs/paddles/water etc. were replaced after a certain amount of time. At check-in at the front desk as well, I felt uncomfortable having my name spoken aloud where other guests could hear. Wouldn’t it be sufficient to show a document with my registered Plan details/price/name and ask something like: “Could you please confirm that everything listed here is correct?” without saying my full name? These days even hospitals call people by number. I would greatly appreciate improvements in these details (including hygiene management in areas such as the lounge) as well as consideration for personal information security. I hope all guests can receive services comfortably with peace of mind and safety.

Satisfied with everything
I was very satisfied with everything, including the cleanliness of the Room, the quality of the Onsen, the wide variety of meals and drinks, and the staff’s smiles and kindness. If I have the chance, I will definitely return.

Warm Hospitality
Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality during our recent stay. Not only were the facilities—such as the Room and Onsen—excellent, but above all, the warm hospitality of all the staff left a lasting impression and made our time truly comfortable. The lounge we used right after arrival was a relaxing place to unwind. Throughout the property, in addition to the Onsen, we enjoyed strolling through the garden, soaking in the foot bath, and taking part in fun workshops. In the evening, we listened to beautiful live piano performances. Every event and experience during our stay was appealing, and we never once felt bored. And most impressive of all was the buffet! Everything was delicious, but especially outstanding was the fried horse mackerel at breakfast. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the staff for their attentive care and thoughtful service.

I’m glad I chose this Hotel!
It was an overnight stay that flew by. After check-in, we first enjoyed wine, beer, snacks & Kobe beef, and cake in the lobby lounge. The Room had been renovated—clean, spacious, thoughtfully designed down to the details—and the view was great. We headed out to a workshop and had fun, worked up a sweat with game activities, then rinsed off in the Onsen before dinner. Everything we ate was truly delicious. The lobby performance ended before I could fully get swept away by the synthesizer? Then it was on to another Onsen and off to bed. In the morning, we started with rich orange juice in the lobby lounge, followed by experiencing a foot bath and hand bath. I wasn’t planning to drink at breakfast, but ended up starting with morning champagne. I was impressed again—every dish was delicious. After that, we enjoyed a morning bath in the Onsen, relaxed, and checked out. I wished we could have stayed longer. It was amazing.

The layout has changed, hasn’t it?
The souvenir shop area has been converted into a workshop space. Since it’s now in a more visible location, there may be more participants. The sushi for dinner and the rice balls for breakfast were delicious as always. I’ll be back again.

A Relaxing Getaway at Your Own Pace
We stayed as a family of three. We were looking forward to the all-inclusive plan, but it may be better suited for guests who drink alcohol. Since meals are buffet-style, there were lines at popular stations and some dishes ran out. The flavors also felt mild to me, and nothing stood out as especially delicious. It was also disappointing that mayonnaise was not available.

I enjoyed the lounge.
I’ve stayed at several Juraku properties. At some, the lounge had limited drinks or they weren’t replenished, but here there was a great selection of beverages and the snacks were always restocked, so I could relax and unwind. No matter what time I went, it was easy to take it slow, which I really appreciated. The Room was also spacious and very comfortable to use. The sofa bed in particular was perfect for lounging around. The buffet was delicious with so many options that I couldn’t decide and ended up eating too much. I also think it’s nice that there are various events. We were too full and tired to join much, but we still had a relaxing stay. The reclining bath and foot acupressure bath were great as well. An 11:00 check-out was very helpful. The only minor issues were that there were many children in the bath area being quite loud without their parents correcting them, and I could hear running footsteps from the floor above—but overall, we were satisfied.

A Blissful Moment
Three of us who love drinks visited together. From the moment the Shuttle Service bus arrived, we could enjoy delicious draft beer in the lounge. The terrace also has a footbath and hand bath, and we had a great time feeling the pleasant sea breeze. The Onsen spring water was incredibly soothing. There are stairs to reach the Onsen, so it may be a bit challenging for older guests. For the bead-making activity, my friend made one before I knew it—it was very cute and became a wonderful keepsake. Meals are served from a live kitchen, so you can enjoy dishes freshly prepared on the spot. Not only the sashimi and sushi, but everything was delicious. The Room had been renovated and was spacious and easy to use. At breakfast, there is a small line for the mini rice balls, but the rice was excellent. Being able to enjoy alcohol from breakfast truly made for a happy holiday. My favorite item was the fried horse mackerel—freshly fried and perfectly crispy. I enjoyed an Onsen soak before breakfast, another after breakfast, then plenty of drinking and eating—an indulgent Onsen-filled stay at Juraku that felt like pure bliss. All staff were very kind as well. This is an Accommodation I will definitely return to.

As expected of a long-established Ryokan! The thoughtful touches are outstanding.
In IKYU’s ranking, it’s labeled as a “casual Ryokan,” but Juraku has a long history, spacious guest rooms, and two Onsen baths with distinct atmospheres. The all-inclusive plan is very satisfying, and the workshops are fun too. Considering what you get, I think it’s great value. I’ve been many times over the years, and every time I come home I want to go again. It’s not so much a “once-in-a-lifetime” destination as a place you can visit casually as part of everyday life—so in that sense, it may be “high-quality casual.” I’ll be back!

It was a wonderful Hotel!
When I entered the Room, I was impressed by how spacious and spotless it was! There was a great selection of drinks, the snacks were delicious, and both dinner and breakfast were luxurious—it felt like dining at an upscale French restaurant. There was also a late-night snack service and live piano music. It was truly a wonderful Hotel. Next time, I’ll bring my parents and grandchildren too!

We had a wonderful family trip.
Even with children, this Hotel is a lot of fun, and I think both adults and kids will be very satisfied! In the evening, there was a live kitchen at the counter, and everyone was wonderful—the staff making sushi, the pizza chef, and the person grilling turban shells. They were also very kind to our child, which made it a truly enjoyable trip. Thank you very much.

The Joy of Choice
I had a few drinks in the lounge, but there’s a much wider selection at the dinner venue, so it seems best to take it easy in the lounge… It’s nice that you can choose drinks to match the dishes. The Facility and baths feel a bit dated, but the large public bath has a shampoo bar, and the next day they had Mikimoto shampoo—so even though I wasn’t planning to wash my hair, I ended up doing it. The Room was also very spacious, and since I had hurt my lower back, it was easier than staying in a Japanese-style room. The aonori seaweed tsukudani served at breakfast was delicious, so I bought some at the shop to take home. With rising ingredient costs these days, I imagine it must be tough, but I hope you’ll keep going.

The dinner buffet service is inefficient.
We visited as a group of six, including family and friends. Since it’s all-inclusive, having unlimited draft beer as soon as we arrived was very appealing. However, the dinner we were looking forward to—sushi and sashimi—was so popular that we waited 25 minutes just to get sashimi and 20 minutes for sushi. It was extremely inefficient. They slice the sashimi only after you order and carefully plate each piece one by one. If one person orders five servings, everyone ends up waiting even longer. I understand freshness matters, but couldn’t they prepare some in advance and keep it refrigerated? The sushi is also made to order on the spot, so even though it’s a buffet, it was hard to go back for seconds. Now I understand why there is no time limit for dinner—you can get full just from standing in line. I’ve stayed at various Juraku properties before, but this was the first time I had to wait in lines like this. For some reason, it left me feeling exhausted.

A wide variety of buffet options.
Returned to enjoy the buffet again. I was happy with the wide selection of drinks, including alcohol. The grilled seafood and Chinese dishes were especially good. Since I don’t eat beef, it would have been nice if the special course offered a fish option as well. The Room is spacious, and with a separate bedroom it’s easy to relax. However, the bed was quite firm and I woke up with some body aches, which was a slight downside. In addition to the lounge, there is a water dispenser in the hallway on each guestroom floor, so it’s very convenient for drinks. It was also nice to unwind in the lounge after dinner (though the performer seemed to be in casual clothes—more like a friendly local playing).

It’s like a mini all-inclusive experience.
Pros - All staff are friendly and provide excellent service. - They put a lot of effort into offering activities such as workshops and table tennis. - The Room has been renovated and is clean (10th floor with an Onsen). - The buffet food is delicious. Cons - Although it is advertised as all-inclusive, the in-room refrigerator only had two bottles of water. - The yukata feel outdated; samue would be better. - The lounge (next to the lobby) has limited drink and food options. Drinks are removed at 22:00, so after 22:00 you have to buy beverages from vending machines. - The open-air bath in the Room is far from the shower, making the layout inconvenient. Overall impression I have stayed at several all-inclusive Accommodations in the past, and this one felt the most mass-market among them. If you are a large family staying in the cheapest Room, it may offer decent value; however, I don’t think it’s worth paying high-floor rates (70,000–80,000 JPY for two people). It’s a shame because all staff were friendly and pleasant, and both dinner and breakfast buffets were very good.

As expected of a long-established Hotel in Ito Onsen.
Just as the Reviews said, the buffet was delicious. The Room had also been renovated and was very clean. It was a shame that we couldn’t watch TV from the bed. Because of the heavy snow, we couldn’t come by car, so we weren’t able to stop anywhere on the way back. The draft beer was very good. If I had to say one thing, I wish there had been a better selection of snacks to go with it. I’d like to visit again.

New Year’s gift money
We stayed in a top-floor corner Room with a private open-air bath. There were a few issues, such as some amenities being missing, but overall it was wonderful. The meals were more than we could finish, and there were so many kinds of alcohol that I couldn’t decide what to try first and ended up wandering around. In the morning they also have beer and wine, so if you enjoy that, it seems many guests come by train. The welcome sweets were delicious too. However, the open-air bath doesn’t have an outside view, and it’s on a different floor from the large public bath area, so it wasn’t quite ideal. This time I was satisfied just using the Room’s open-air bath. All of the staff worked very hard and left a great impression.

So-so
Stayed for 2 nights from January 2nd. This was my fourth visit as the reservation process is easy, it's close to Tokyo, and reasonably priced. Lobby Lounge: - Coffee (both iced and hot) was too bitter. - Alcoholic beverages like beer are available. - Shizuoka tea and mandarin orange juice were delicious. - Limited selection of sweets; they didn’t look appealing, so I didn’t try them. - Cozy atmosphere at night with a lit fireplace and live performances. - Late-night snacks (like minestrone) available from 10 PM onwards. - Convenient for passing time or meeting up with others. - Access to the garden with foot baths available. Staff: - Overall good impression of the staff; many were efficient and pleasant to interact with. - They responded kindly to various requests. Room: - Though slightly dated, it was well-cleaned without any issues. Facility: - Water dispensers in the hallway were convenient. - Free massage chairs available. - Kids enjoyed the game corner. - Board game room (with many private rooms) was clean and quiet—great for playing card games or even doing homework in a focused environment. Onsen: - Good water quality but average view. - Inconvenient as towels need to be brought from the room each time. - Slight chlorine smell (understandable). - Shampoo bar provided. - Skin felt smooth after bathing. Dinner: - Freshly baked pizza from an on-site oven was delicious. - Limited soft drink options but a wide variety of alcoholic beverages that satisfied my husband. - Sushi made-to-order tasted decent enough. - Friendly kitchen staff added a nice touch. - Some dishes felt underwhelming but within expectations overall. - Clean tableware and glasses gave peace of mind during meals. - Soft serve ice cream available, which kids loved. Breakfast: - Bright, spacious dining area offering a relaxing atmosphere. - Bread wasn’t great quality but freshly made rice balls were tasty! – Grilled fish options like salmon/mackerel/horse mackerel had fresh flavors & fluffy texture Unfortunately coffee served here again seemed overly bitter while soy milk alternatives weren’t offered yet glassware cleanliness stood out positively New Year-themed activities such as Mochi-pounding events kept children entertained throughout holiday season despite minor concerns raised earlier regarding dessert/snack upgrades needed inside lobby-lounge areas overall satisfaction remained high thanks largely due diligence shown by hardworking attentive team members ensuring memorable stay experience! Thank You

It was excellent.
My family has stayed here multiple times and highly recommended it, but due to its popularity, it was difficult to secure a reservation. Finally, I was able to stay. I had heard the food was delicious, but it exceeded my expectations. The fried horse mackerel at breakfast was especially outstanding and paired perfectly with the tartar sauce containing pickled ginger—I wished I could have eaten more. I wanted to try all the dishes, but unfortunately, I got full and could only eat about half of them. It’s a shame! I would love to stay again and try all the dishes I couldn’t eat this time. Among all-inclusive hotels, Juraku is one of the few where both food and drinks were completely satisfying. I definitely want to visit again! The staff were all very pleasant, everything was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. Thank you very much!

Satisfied.
We stayed at the accommodation for a couple's trip. Both of us were impressed by the hospitality of the staff, the high quality of the meals, and the comfort of the private open-air bath in our room. This is now added to our list of accommodations we want to visit again. It would be perfect if there were a mirror, hairdryer, and bathrobe in the changing room for the open-air bath in the room. Please consider this suggestion!

Parent-Child Trip for Two
I visited Juraku for a relaxing Onsen trip with my daughter, who I usually live apart from. The meals were incredibly delicious, and I was deeply impressed. Especially the sushi at dinner was freshly prepared on the spot, and the sashimi was freshly sliced, making it both fresh and flavorful. In the morning, the freshly made rice balls were delightful as well. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was a long line due to its popularity. Aside from the Onsen and meals, we also enjoyed activities like wreath-making workshops, calligraphy practice, and table tennis. It was an absolutely satisfying experience. I would love to visit again!
