Onsen and a Sea Bream Feast

We crossed the Naruto Kaikyo Bridge from Awaji Island and checked in in the evening. The check-in was courteous, and for dinner we enjoyed the buffet at Naruto Grand Hotel, with a wide variety of delicious local specialties from Awaji Island and Tokushima—seafood, mountain produce, and village flavors. Breakfast was also excellent; we especially loved the yuzu salt soup, sea bream rice chazuke, and warabi mochi. It was great to be able to enjoy both Onsen baths at the Grand Hotel and Taimaru as well. We walked to the Otsuka Museum of Art, and it was very helpful that we were allowed to keep our car in the parking lot even after checkout.
